That makes no sense. To me it sounds like that ISO is wrong. Change the ISO to 400 or 200. Set a lens to f/16 then test a fully sunlit scene at various shutter speeds such as 1/400th or 1/200th (or whatever is closest) and what looks best is your personal ISO.

Thats a view camera right? Should be fine because it mounts on the back the same way.
in my experience Instax-W needs a lot of light, so flash is almost mandatory even with 800 ISO.
