Remember when you listen to where you start and where you end it's a game changer, why? If I have a 58 cube pallet when I enter the last aisle I'm going to to say how much more. More than likely you will have 20 or less cases, you should fly through that last aisle, you should not be placing cases as much. You literally can make 3 or 4 minutes just on the last aisle you select in.

Being anti-social is a perfect trait for being an order selector.
Not making your times? It's because the trainers don't want to actually train you. They want you to just make the minimum so they can get their bonus. Nothing says " we want you to succeed" like a week of vague training and then just let loose.
Unfortunately you're not lying. It's hard to get a trainer that actually cares
the accuracy
A week?bro I got trained for literally one day . My training just consisted of me riding along on the pallet jack with my trainer and me just watching. Not once during my training did they let me do anything
@@philiphall4822 this annoys the hell out of me. It's not right. These companies suck
Right lol
Some places just have bogus times. Multi pick slots with heavy product gives the same amount of time to pick as light product. If the loaders are behind I waste 5 mins looking for a spot to set the orders just to have them tell me to put it somewhere else. So many variables that work against you.
I’m also new so I get the slow pallet jack that no one wants. And the scanner that stops working randomly. And the old crusty printer that jams up. But the company is really perplexed on why they can’t keep people.
All the way up to the scanner I thought you were explaining my work. Spot on problems with a lot of warehouses
Best selector on earth is talking
Lol I appreciate it
Spot on! I can honestly say as a female selector, I really didn't have much trouble making my times. I did however get caught up in the heap where I was chatting with someone causing me to get way behind one time. Super stressful
It's hard not to talk
Thanks for the help with making my times.
💯
Tons of information in this one!
Thanks!
The best in the biz!
Thanks!
@Tim Thank you so much!!😊 After watching this video, I now have a better understanding of when to start my next task assignment/order. I also work in produce, dairy, and the meat room. Your videos are very helpful. You probably run close to %200. I am in my fourth week. Your pics are very useful because we have the same product, so when you explain about where to move the case and stay within your cube I know exactly what you mean. VERY HELPFUL AND GENEROUS OF YOU TO SHARE YOUR KNOWLEDGE WITH US BEGINNERS!!!
I'm glad I could help! Thank you for the kind words.
I throw 100% lol. On purpose, my killing it days are past me
@@TheWarehouseSeries Lol. I bet when you guys get busy they come to you.

@@cr7094 lol
i was engaged the entire time forreal, good stuff in this video
Thank you!
First part is without a doubt a time killer
Definitely
I need to stop caring about how my pallet looks
If you're going for incentives, yes, you need to careless
So u wanna start the earliest u can? Or after your extra time at the beginning of the shift?
If your company gives you start up time that can be banked yes, but if not it's still important to be first. If 10 selectors are starting in same aisle at the start of the shift being first will be a huge bonus. Being last is going to have you down time
Talking is a major set back
💯
What warehouse do you work at? My warehouse goes to 72 cube for 1 pallet and 144 for 2
I don't say where I work because I film myself in warehouse which is not allowed. If my bosses ever find my vids I'm hoping they appreciate that I never said the companies name
