with the batteries, my warehouse gives us a 10 minute battery change delay, which in reality usually takes about 5 minutes, so it’s a nice little boost to my performance at the end of the day when they put in delays
I think I just became the 6k subscriber. I started my job as an order selector this week, been learning from you to become the best I can be, the potential money is very motivating.
@@TheWarehouseSeries well at the end you tell them how much time it took you to finish the order … but then you end up by not reaching the daily quota… what I started to do is I note the picking position and the station so I come back once they bring the marchandise to add it but it’s a bit risky move
My warehouse sends the shorts to another selector once the slots been filled, great percentage booster cause you’ll get like 5 minutes to grab 1-2 items and you’ll get a good percentage boost
Good video tim, congrats on 6k. The video i disagree with music, 11 years not once have i needed that. I know i will get hate here. Self motivation and leave your personal life at the gaurd shack that has been my mind set. I feel that is how i have had great work ethics. If worry about my personal life i will not want to be at work. I always had the mindset of work so i can enjoy my personal life.
@TheWarehouseSeries don't get me wrong i like music. But that shouldn't be the driving force to why or how someone works. I am sorry if I offend you. Mentality is key. Today was a prime example at work. I was shaking my hands, trying to warm them up in the freezer. A trainer walks past and asked if i wanted hand warmers. "No, i just have to move more and not think about it"
Number 5 is huge for me. Mind starts racing about my position in life/finances/relationships, then I got to go into that freezer and select, it gets rough.
@@TheWarehouseSeries A little over a year, with a big help from your channel. I hold 2 jobs one from 3am-8am and the selection from 9am till finish. (It's been till 1130pm some nights) No days off between both gigs. Getting burned out, need to find an exit. (Just saw your vid about quitting too). I try to stay positive but it gets hard some days. lol
My coworker blocks the aisle by stopping in the middle of the aisle. Cant pass him up and i get stuck. I tried to explain to him aisle etiquette but he doesn't get it.
@@TheWarehouseSeries lol! I now tell them to move. I pick in a 30 below zero cold store, picking with the vocollect headset (wireless bluetooth) riding a LLOP with three cages on the back. We do pallet picking as well but it's mainly picking into cages.

Appreciate the sub! Definitely can make some serious money depending on the company
When there remain no marchandise in the picking and you need to wait for it …. That’s some lost time
So you have to wait for shorts on your own time?

Thank you! I'm 1,000% music driven lol

How long have you been selecting?

@@alone3885 I've done multiple jobs quite a few times, it's not fun. Hopefully things change for you soon so you can go down to 1
Other selectors and forklifts replenishing bays are slowing me down. It's my 6th week and I'm running a 79%. I'm having difficulty breaking 79%.
Are you allowed to turn in delay time for traffic?
Excellent points💯💯💯
Thanks!

The same problem where I work. People talk in the aisles and they get told not to but always do.
I would just hold them up when the opportunity came
