If you use a highlighting cap, pull the hair thru, put the dark color on, then wash the color off without removing the cap, this process will not affect the rest of your hair color
You have beautiful hair & it turned out great! Love the short, quick & to the point video. Altho, just a tiny bit of (hopefully constructive) criticism: Would've liked to see a good before & after comparison. First time watcher so, not sure what your "normal" hair looks like & couldn't get a good look from the beginning when you let your hair down. Also an explanation of how many lowlights, position, & how you picked your lowlight color (1-3 shades darker than your natural or all over color?) Just questions I'm trying to find out how to answer for myself. You obviously did a great job answering those ?'s for yourself so the addition of your advise & insight would've been greatly appreciated. Overall, def worth the watch time tho so it's all good!👍 Thanks!✌️
I’m going to try this tomorrow, I have some blonde I didn’t want to cover and this shows me what I was wanting to do! Did the cool brown have any red undertones? Or was it completely cool?

@@beckymanna8499 well I made that comment because that’s what I need to do , dye my roots & add some low lights . Just trying to find the easiest way to do it
@@beckymanna8499 Thank you so much for responding. I forgot to mention that my hair is short and curly at this point. Does your answers still hold true? Thanks again, Valentino
Becky you are so good at this . Your hair is gorgeous!
Awe I appreciate it! Thanks!

This is true! I’ve tried the cap so many times and I never make it past like 10 strands 🤣
@@beckymanna8499 I have to admit, I don't get passed the 3rd strand LOL!!
it turned out so good!!
Avielle Larson Appreciate it!
Girl! the comparison with the ugly dog has me dead😂 you r so pretty, I might try that technique one day.
I really felt like an ugly dog hahah
Beautiful! thank you for sharing with all of us!
You saved yourself at least a $100 by doing it yourself. Came out beautifully
Toothbrush! Yes! I'll try that

Very helpful. Thanks!
Beautiful job TY
Wow 🤩 looks great
Thank you!
It looks awesome!!
Thank you!
I definitely want to try this... but I totally feel like mine would come out TERRIBLY!!!! 😂
It takes a little practice! Take small pieces at a time if you are new to it and have confidence!
Perfect thank youuuuuuuuu 💜🖤💜🖤💜🖤💜🖤🖤💜🖤💜
I’m going to try this tomorrow, I have some blonde I didn’t want to cover and this shows me what I was wanting to do! Did the cool brown have any red undertones? Or was it completely cool?
It eliminated all of my red undertone pieces that I dyed and I would say the cool brown is lasting longer than the L’Oréal box dye.
Becky Manna Did it not bleed into the lighter parts of your hair?
JClass Galindez some dyes will. This dye dried quickly, and I made sure that I picked out hairs strands that weren’t too close to my highlights.
Becky Manna Thank you, your results were great. I’ll try it 😊
JClass Galindez thank you so much. It’s been a few months and my brassy tones still haven’t pulled through. So happy with this brand.
Doesn't the darker color bleed through the rest of your hair...if a blonde?
Wonderful job! Stay connected my friend 😍
You so beautuful and super funny xx 😂
Awwwe you’re the best. Makes me wanna make more videos!

Looked like you also dyed some of your roots as well
I had to because I have so much grey hair 😩

@@passadonut gotcha! Start with your roots first ☺️
@@beckymanna8499 thank you for all your replies . Most of these how to do hair channels don’t reply to their comments

Do u think this technique would work for lowlights while growing my gray out so there is no skunk line? Thanks
It’s honestly perfect for that because you control where you were putting the dye!
