Hi Kristi scissor hands 😉 BEAUTIFUL absolutely loved the tip of different base shades on ends I would never have thought of even trying that but it's kind of obvious when it's demonstrated 😊 thank you Kristi and I love your three bucket popcorn videos 😉😘💋🇬🇧 big hug xx
Hello Paul, thank you! I know I can always count on you for those big buckets of popcorn! 😂😂😂♥️♥️
Absolutely gorgeous, Kristi!! I love, love your work!! You are an amazing hair colorist. Probably one of the best in the business!! Have a great day, Kristi!! 💖

Beautiful 😍
Well I ate my popcorn really fast lol. Short and sweet video with great colour results as usual from my favourite hair stylist ☺️ all the best to you Kristie from the 🇬🇧 💕
😂😂😂 oh good! Just a quick little treat!
Beautiful color...I love your technique. I'm naturally medium to dark brown and wanted to blend the grey as its growing in. I showed pictures of medium, light brown, grey blended. It looked beautiful. My first attempt at a salon, turned me reddish, orange and brassy. They said it will be a few visits. Next 2 visits, I am medium blonde with, ashy , brassy tones. I've given up. I guess you get what you pay for. Lol
Sometimes it's a hair journey too, thank you for watching!
It look amazing
Love it
Love your videos
Thank you!
Amazing
How long did you leave the first mix I. Your hair… and also how long did you leave the second mix in your hair for? Thank you!! The color is so beautiful
If a soap cap was done and the roots came out lighter even after a color fill do I start with the light roots or mid shaft with a darker color that I’m adding throughout the entire hair?
So many colorists have their own opinion it gets confusing… just as some colorists say to dye hair when dry and others say to dye it when damp and to use a protein filler for a more even application.
Love this. Her before hair is my hair to a "T", EXCEPT I have gray at the roots. What would you suggest doing with the roots? I have an appointment tomorrow and I'm not sure what to do. 😂
I know this is a little bolder video, but do u have a Framar Empire brush? Color brush and comb on the same handle.
Can you please guide about the ratio of the 4 colours you used? Did u mixed them all together?
Beautiful 💖. Your clients are so fortunate to have you. I’m hoping you won’t mind me asking this. I haven’t been able to lift enough to achieve the icy look I’ve seen in your clients. Im a natural dark chocolate brown. I always go yellow. I’m not going to try this anymore. I wanted to add a cooler darker tone for all over depth. My salon stylist used a demi permanent color for this. I’m a week in and the color is fading fast. My brassiness is peeking through again. Should I ask for a permanent color next time or will it be flat like I was told?
Hello ! And thank you for the nice words… if say if you don’t think you’ll try lightening your hair again, you could do permanent but honestly there’s going to be some fading regardless. Generally make sure you wait 3 days to wash after coloring and use cooler water and salon professional products . Permanent wouldn’t be flat tho….
@@hairbykristijennings6648 Thank you. I appreciate you 🙂.
@@donnarosepender7228 don’t do permanent it will be too hard to get out later if you ever want highlights. Use a cream Demi permanent that’s only a few shades darker than your hair or it will just fade really fast
Hey, Kristi! I have a question about backcombing. It seems like when a client has extremely dense hair per square inch, no matter how much I backcomb, there is still a scary harsh highlight line. This happens especially in the back of the head for me, but it's not visible until I start the blow-dry. But when I drop the crown hair and mohawk sections over it, it looks blended and perfectly fine ??? It's the underneath that can look harsh. Do you know why this might be happening and how to fix it? This last client took me 8 hours total and most of it was backcombing every stitch of hair and I wayyyyyyy underquoted because I had no idea it was going to take that long :( Maybe I should have just not backcombed so much and just used a cream demi to blend it out.
Yes, blend it out of you feel you need to. Take smaller sections where hair is thicker, do diagonal sections, weave, do zig zag partings...... all that should help eliminate harsh lines.
Also, for services you know that might be big transformations, that you know will be 5+ hours..... charge hourly. $75-$100/ hr whatever your rate is. Ask people what their budget is so you can give them a breakdown of how much work that will get them..... and make sure to say ok this is our starting price and can go up from there depending on how much work is needed
@@hairbykristijennings6648 thank you!!! You are the best!!! 💖
Thank you!
Kristi is the G.O.A.T 😍❤how much foils did you used when she went from dark to blondhighlights?
Are you meaning the service we did before this?
@@hairbykristijennings6648 correct!
Because the blend is amazing a lot of definition after toning because is not too much not too little
♥️
I usually use Wella…. Looking into Schwartzkopf, seems like they have a wider color variety… anyone have any feedback on brand versus brand
Ok, what did Kristi mean when she said at the next application, she’d only tone the lighter portions? With a semi…. Wouldn’t you want to basically repeat everywhere? Or maybe it’s that close to natural?
Can you make videos from light blonde to golden blonde ?
What toner did you use, please? Will using 20 vs 30 make a big difference?
You def don’t need 30 developer. No lift
10 vol
But my popcorn was already popped 😭
🤣🤣🤣
😂😂😂 keep it ready for tomorrow morning!
How much do you charge for a color change
Also how much color did you mix up in total
Every client varies, going darker, like this was roughly $150
She looks dead in the last shot lol
Omg this chick is rough
Looks so good.🫶
Gorgeous ❤️
Thank you!
