      Glad you liked the video. CADing is a pretty chill skill or hobby (if you do it for fun).

      @@TheTinkeringTechie I wanted to ask since you might Actully answer when using the loft tool it makes a third part, how do you merge the original two parts plus the loft part into 1 singular larger part?

    • @TheTinkeringTechie
      @TheTinkeringTechie  Рік тому

      So, there's a thing called boolean. When you select two parts (selecting them using the listed parts in the bottom left with ctrl + left click), you can then right click those selected parts, select boolean, and press "union". What this does, is it combines the selected parts together, as long as they are touching/intersecting. Hope this helps!@@pro-11-brawlstars68

    How did you print the cup holder, it seems to have nasty overhangs no matter how you rotate it

    • @lordorion8657
      @lordorion8657 Рік тому

      I used tree supports with the print upright (opening of cupholder facing up). I made sure that the block with the threads were excluded from any supports with an exclusion zone block created in my slicer Cura. Tree supports are supposedly easier to remove as well. Hope this helps!

    tysm for the tutorial! can you make more advanced assembly tutorials. By the way, what's your name? Can't wait to see what you come up with next

      Hello! I am glad you enjoyed the guide! I will have to see if more people would like an advanced assembly tutorial, but for now, I will have to focus on other videos planned out. Learning the rest of the assembly mates should be easy, so you can search it on google to find out more. My name is Ryan btw!

      Hey! Dw, I am still alive :P. Started my first semester at college as an electrical engineering major. Very busy as you might guess, though I did manage to record the footage for the next video, but haven't started on editting it yet. Also, it's midterms right now, but it seems to be clearing up :D. I dont use social media (other than youtube), but I may make a discord channel if I get a good number of subscribers.
