Good job guys. This is one of my most anticipated games and this coverage gave me a great idea what to expect. Looking forward to doing multiple playthroughs (definitely including a dumb character)
I like the way leveling will work in this game, because if I change what type of character I want to be, I can use XP to level up those weak skills. For example, I suck at stealth in Fallout games, but I love playing stealth characters, so I use non stealth skills, then use that XP to level up my stealth so I can actually use it. It’s great.
This game is gonna drop before E3. I’m almost sure of it. The way they dodged that question about appearing at E3, then immediately stalled on the next question when they were asked about a specific release date. Sounds like they’re putting on the final touches, and unless some unforeseen catastrophe happens, I bet we’re looking at a surprise release in May. Bet there’s an announcement real soon.
True. I don’t remember them specifying how far along they were in VO though. If they were gonna release it after E3 it would make no sense for them to be unsure whether they’d appear. That would be huge publicity for the game. I don’t see how they would miss that opportunity and release it a couple months later.
God, if they pulled a sneaky on us and announced the release date 1-2 months before release, especially if it is in May as it is my birthday, I would be ecstatic. I think that it will be further off though, sadly.
Something I was thinking is what if they did an actual E3 release? That would be huge publicity, and explain the awkwardness of their answers to those questions at the end of the video.
I love this more and more. All of their choices are exactlywhat I love in an RPG. They really know what to do best with this specific type of game. Hurray for no voiced main character
So far this is one of my most anticipated games of 2019. I throughly enjoyed New Vegas and the guys who made that making an original IP has me really hyped
All I know that this will be a polished game unlike the last few fallout games. That’s have the battle with enjoying a game. Plus the honesty of what their game is can’t be matched.
Game informer asked them about the game difficulty setting,we know on supernova we get 5 flaws and survival element like drinking.eating, and sleep,do enemy get new move attack AI on hardest difficulty or it become bullet sponge
I'm inclined to say bullet sponge since combat isn't Obsidian's known specialty. However, I much prefer it when a harder difficulty makes your character weaker, but leaves the enemies the same.
Watched the whole thing and it made me much more excited about the game. We're finally going to get a proper RPG after all these years. Kinda disappointed that they didn't use my question about 'Amount of dialogue choices and the approximate amount of lines of dialogue in the game'.

I just hope this game is open for modding, so we can fill the blank they left behind due to time and budget......
Truly impressed by the in-depth coverage, thank you Game Informer and Obsidian!
I love the fact that this devs are so open and talkative about their game. I wish more devs did this so people would be a better idea of what kind of game they are getting
For some time now all my favorite games are coming from this studio. Can not wait for this game to be released. Really looking forward to getting my mitts on it.
These guys seem like really genuine people. From what I’m hearing this game seems like exactly what people want.
I'm going to buy this first bcoz it's amazing and second and more importantly that the developer are honest and straight forward no bullshitting the gamers. I hope amazing developers like these gentlemen reach big and hit big, they deserve it. Keep up the good work.
man, watching all these great game informer videos while it downloads...
Good job guys. This is one of my most anticipated games and this coverage gave me a great idea what to expect. Looking forward to doing multiple playthroughs (definitely including a dumb character)
I can't wait. I've done just about eveything in New Vegas and I'm so happy I can play a new game like this from them!
one of my favorite things about kotor is the random banter between companions, i'm very happy to hear that's in the outer worlds
I like the way leveling will work in this game, because if I change what type of character I want to be, I can use XP to level up those weak skills. For example, I suck at stealth in Fallout games, but I love playing stealth characters, so I use non stealth skills, then use that XP to level up my stealth so I can actually use it. It’s great.
GREAT coverage and devs!
i would definitely by a book on Tims experience in the industry.
Really excited for this game. Nice coverage on this.
Davey Jonez they still have to do voice over so idk
Davey Jonez Well On the steam page where the only people with access are the developers leaked a release date of August. So that’s a safe bet.
Supernova difficultly is gonna be sick!!! NV did survival mode so well
Okay, for that initials joke about "no" you get a pat on the back. That aside you've just got a new sub, solid work on this game.
Obsidian is doing the game right, not making it huge and feature everything, making it feature a good amount of select and polish content and features
This was fantastic. I always watch GIs content but I live these two. I really hope this game does amazing for these guys
I love this more and more. All of their choices are exactlywhat I love in an RPG. They really know what to do best with this specific type of game. Hurray for no voiced main character
great video. good questions and conversation
So far this is one of my most anticipated games of 2019. I throughly enjoyed New Vegas and the guys who made that making an original IP has me really hyped
36:25 - 4 word plot explanation: new vegas house ending
Great work here. You asked great questions I would've never thought I needed to know the answer to
Thank you game informer
I like the idea of a level cap because it forces you to have a character with strengths and weaknesses. That way, every character you have is unique.
The "look down and see your feet" question is an immersion thing. Takes away some of the immersion when you look down and see nothing.
Changing the loadouts of companions. Oh thank god. I waited for this to be a thing again since ME1 and DA:O.
All I know that this will be a polished game unlike the last few fallout games. That’s have the battle with enjoying a game. Plus the honesty of what their game is can’t be matched.
I love platinuming FallOut... Supernova sounds crazy just for that 🏆😭 can’t wait
Can't wait to finish the second half of this
Okay, modders get to work on making “shit lizards” into the English version.
gonna support this game no matter what, anything that I don't find ideal I know is, more or less, due to budget or time. great guys, g'luck
The king of RPG has returned
I wish Bioware would return as the king of RPGs too :'/
Game informer asked them about the game difficulty setting,we know on supernova we get 5 flaws and survival element like drinking.eating, and sleep,do enemy get new move attack AI on hardest difficulty or it become bullet sponge
I'm inclined to say bullet sponge since combat isn't Obsidian's known specialty. However, I much prefer it when a harder difficulty makes your character weaker, but leaves the enemies the same.
They should have matthew (singh) there too, he explins so good and is so handsome and relatable as gamer... (mostly handsome)😻😻😻
Well done, both sides. Looking forward to the game
Watched the whole thing and it made me much more excited about the game. We're finally going to get a proper RPG after all these years. Kinda disappointed that they didn't use my question about 'Amount of dialogue choices and the approximate amount of lines of dialogue in the game'.
Fantastic coverage game informer. Hope next month's game is as interesting as the outer worlds was.
Awesome podcast... I'm even more interested in this game now, especially since Tim and others at the studio are huge Futurama fans. I'm also excited this game is releasing in 2019! Well, it's scheduled to, we'll see how that goes :)
