- Maiden flight of my newly converted to DFC Trex 450 Sort V2, The flight went well and I was really pleased with the way the Spektrum FC6250HX Flybarless controler worked. If you would like to see the video explaining the changes I made to this Trex 450 I have put a link below.

I also converted mine to flybarless. Made a world of difference. A tip for landing that works for me is, try not to land straight down. Instead fly forward as if landing a plane. What this does is prevent the rotor wash from coming back up to the helicopter. It doesn't even have to be that fast.
Yes Andre, the conversion made a big difference to this Heli, I found it much more stable with the flybarless head!! The Heli is now in a scale fuselage and flies well, thanks for the landing tip and thanks for watching and commenting 😀👍

Hi Ian ... the close up of the engineering is amazing ... lovely made ... this also has that real rotor sound too !!!! Flys lovely ..very sharp control and smooth .... Lovely Heli and so great you got up and out so early to make this great film ... Well done Ian ....

Thanks Gareth, it's funny but I demonetized myself on UA-cam today, I don't like the way it's going with the membership business!! I haven't taken a penny of the money they say I've earned, I just can't be bothered with it, yesterday I posted a silly video about a Squirrel and it's had 3,000 views and yet my videos that take about an hour to edit only get 100 views in a day if I'm lucky!! I think now I will start enjoying what I post more because it's back to being fun 😀👍
I converted my sport to flybarless running a microbeast V4.2 with bailout its great!

Hey Ian, another success story👍 Your going to end up with the problem of trying to fit in flying them all, pity about the mist. I put 12 batteries through the 330 today and I'm absolutely loving it! The Beastx gives you so many more variables so you can get it to feel just how you want it. As you know I've just bought 4 new batteries for the 230 and to be honest as good as it is I can't see me flying it while the 330 is available. It's now my go to Heli. Thanks for the help with it👍🚁

I got the 450 SE v2's Ian...but they're still flybarred. Did yours have the small weights on? Mine fly ok with 10% expo. Still wondering about doing a FBL conversion on one though. We'll see
Yes this one had the fly bar weights but as I said in the video it was a little monster Lol I can't believe how much more refined it felt with the flybarless conversion!! Well worth the effort I think, why not give it a go Ian and thanks for watching and commenting 😄👍

If it's got the flybar then it might cope with mild 3D but suited more to I think it's called sport flying!! Which in effect is very mild 3D 😀👍
Is this a torque tube or belt?
My 450 has a belt 😀👍
