nice flying - my first heli for three years now - and im still experimenting wit new parts and settings. as i progressed in flying skills i wanted it to be more precise for sport flying and mild 3d. biggest improvements were : - full aluminium swashplate, - hard head dampeners, - plasticcarbon blades and changing the settings in the ar636 fbl unit/ receiver. totally different machine now !
Hello , I also have this Heli . For some reason the Swash Plate will not raise when I throttle up to collective pitch. everything else works fine . Throttle , Rudder , Elevator and Aileron . The Swash Plate will raise if I push the Panic /Bind button . I am using the DXs transmitter that came with it . Thanks . love your video's
Great Video thanks for sharing, very nice flying. I´m a absolute beginner in Helicopter flying but the 230 S looks very good to me. After watching your video with the 230 S I think .... I will give it a try ;-)
Been about 15-16yrs since I flew. Would the 150FX be a better idea? Flew and fixed tons of CX2’s then jumped into a CP blade and a light strike in snow cost me $70 in 2009.
I remember those CX2’s 😂 I started off on a CX3 when I was a baby! Honestly, the 230S is very durable and minor strikes won’t hurt it. It’s in its nature that it will break on more major crashes. It’s also so beginner friendly! I have no experience with the 150FX, but with today’s technology, I’d definitely just skip to the 230.
Simple question. On my 230, when invert it, I always hit the ground and crash even though I'm reversing the throttle. What am I doing wrong, besides lacking skill?
Hi, it all depends on your flight style. If you are just hovering around on low head speed, you can easily crank out 7+ minutes. The way I fly it, high head speed and pretty much 3D the entire flight will give you closer to 3-4 minutes of flight.
Hi! I think the Blade 230S on Realflight is one of the most true-to-life model they have on the simulator. It is very realistic, and you can hardly feel a difference when flying in real life!
The manual sets the timer to 5 minutes but I never get that. I usually fly 3-4 minutes depending on how im flying. Stationary hovers pulls more battery than simple circuit flying. 3D flying takes the most battery because I’m usually flying at +100% / -100% throttle when I flip it back and forth.
Honestly, I never had issues with the tail. I’m using the programming from the online manual for the 230s on my NX8. I use new Spektrum 3s 800mah 50c LiPos. If your transmitter supports forward programming, I know there is a “proportional” setting you can play with under the”Tail Rotor” section. You can move that value down or up to see if it helps the tail wag or twitching.
I’ve just purchased this as my first heli ,will be testing it this weekend 😳
Thanks for the video! Makes me want to take my 230 out this weekend!😁
Awesome flying! Good control and precise! Almost ready for some rolls and loops!
Thanks! Still practicing rolls and loops on RF 9.5s!
wow you make it look so easy,i have this heli, just learning to hover without safe.thx mark from the uk.
Thanks! I love my Blade 230s! She is very relaxing to fly!
really like your presentation style and flying skills
Thank you!
Nice fly, you are good on it! And a hi from sweden!
Thank you! Hello from Southern California!
got mine yesterday thanks to your videos 📹
Awesome!
This is a great review! I've had mine for over a year, it's my first and still sitting on my shelf. Honestly just scared of it
Thank you! She is not as intimidating as she seems! She is actually quite docile.
Nice Flight, youngman. 👍Got a couple of them . Fly them daily, Weather permitting. Solid Birds, perfect size for a Park Flyer.
Than you! I love the 230s for that specific reason!

We have also thought about adding some metal parts to the 230s. Thanks for the tips!
Great video John
Thank you!
A great job. I love the sound of it sounds like a turban engine.
Thank you! I'm getting more comfortable but not yet at the level of how I fly RC planes!
Turban 😂😂😂
Thanks for sharing!! Enjoyed it.
Thanks!
Stable flying heli and cool hover
You are the best 😀
Thanks!

Thanks! I recommend you invest in Real Flight Simulator if you have never flown an RC heli before. Then use the 230s to practice your skills!
@@JonsRC Thank you very much for the tip 😁👍
I have the blade 150S,going to have to get one of these,i don’t think I’ll be that good anytime soon lol.just ordered one waiting for it to arrive.
Tack!

Great
Wow what a great video, also are you going to camp ama this summer
Thanks! No, unfortunately, I’m attending a Coding class Summer school program.
I'll be getting mine tomorrow......this thing has 1 and 2 WHAT now?

What is the flight time on this helicopter? 10 mins per battery?

How does this fly compared to the model on Real Flight?

@@JonsRC Thanks.
Does the battery only last a few minutes?

A quanto me la metti la versione BNF per Spektrum?
How do you keep your tail stable? Mine is extremely twitchy. Out of the box, twitchy tail!
Honestly, I never had issues with the tail. I’m using the programming from the online manual for the 230s on my NX8. I use new Spektrum 3s 800mah 50c LiPos. @@JonsRC Battery was fastened too tight. Flew much better
How is the remote it come with to at least get going and flying? Or is just better to save a while more?
Mine won't fly, just flips over and crashes
Yes you said it's a great vooter 87 times.. dahhhhh.
