Middle-earth: Shadow of War is a 2017 action-adventure video game developed by Monolith Productions and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. Shadow of War is the sequel to 2014's Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, both of which are based on J. R. R. Tolkien's legendarium. The game is set in between the events of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings film trilogies, from which the game also takes inspiration. The player continues the story of Talion, the Gondorian Ranger who bonded with the wraith of the Elf Lord Celebrimbor, as they forge a new Ring of Power to amass an army to fight against Sauron. The game builds upon the "nemesis system" introduced in Shadow of Mordor, allowing Talion to gain followers from several races of Middle-earth and command them in warfare.

An interesting attention to detail I've noticed during my time playing is that which tribe the Overlord is in has other effects as well.
For example, having an Outlaw or Dark Overlord increases the chances of your captains turning on you, while a Warmonger Overlord will actually decrease it.
Oh yeah I read about that. And with feral, they say that more beasts will roam the area. Haven't tested it though.
Warmonger orcs also recruit more grunts in their region. Slaughter has more bait and outlaw orcs can sometimes place war banners without the need of a commander.
I LOVE how amazing the community is for this game! I 100% the goty edition of the first one (ended the playthru and shelved it about a year ago) and now that im finally getting into the second one the reception and sheer amount of helpful content ive found is astounding!
SoW is an awesome game! They had a rough start due to the microtransactions when it released but also removed it a few months after. Enjoy orc hunting!
This game is amazing orc Pokemon like seriously how could you not want to do that. It's why it's my favorite game.
mystic is my favorite mainly cause i think the animation on the blade attack they do is one of the cooler ones in the game
Its like they spent more time on making the mystic tribe than the others. And their necromancer skill really stands out from the rest.
@@YourTitoGamer for sure, other greats are marauder and dark, i like terror too but those chains never cease to kill every allied gang member the captain had.
Marauder is definitely my favorite, it’s just so clean.
Mystic tribe members can also have the necromancer trait where they can revive grunts and captains if there any dead nearby and there’s a chance that they can revive themselves too
Great addition for the army if they dont have Iron Will or Unbreakable
@@YourTitoGamer there is a little glitch you can do that can make you recruit unbreakable and iron will enemies instantly

The worst class is actually the trackers because they are useless
The worst class and tribe and bonus are Commanders who are tanks with shields. Absolutely disgusting to fight against. I've done it 5 times, and each time I've despised it. Really, any defender tank will do, but commanders are the worst as tanks.
Yea, add arrow proof and you'll have a hard time getting through their shield. Plus the fact they can summon grunts make it more annoying.
Commander and tank are both classes, not tribes. What tribe are you talking about?
@@warlord733 I was discussing classes in this comment that, that’s why it starts with “the worst class” and tribe was meant generally as in “any tribe that is a commander or tank with shields” are horrible
Imagine they have vault blocker and enraged by acrobatics 😂
I’ll admit they make great followers also try to use attacks that freeze so you can get a flurry in charging up your might and knocking down the orc for a ground execution
The outlaw tribe are the only one to wear those bug helmets
I didn't really notice that but now that you mentioned it and checked my armies, they do have those helmets! Good eye my guy!
