Regarding the fair play iteration, it seems as though the best thing to do in this scenario would be to just stand around and do absolutely nothing during games. You'd ship loads of goals and lose a lot, but you'd also get next to no yellow or red cards, and therefore end up doing extremely well. Barrow seemed to have done exactly that apparently.
Imagine a commentator for a league that's sorted by fair play points: "Oh, he scores. Who cares. BUT WHAT IS THIS? He took off his shirt, oh no, surely that's got to be a yellow. That will be relegation for them unless something miraculous happens!"
I can imagine fans at the games with calculators, working out if they're relegated or winning the title on the final day, until their CDM gets a booking and sends them down
Did anyone else notice not only did Macclesfield have 0 wins in the discipline scenario, they had 15 draws. 15 draws without a win??? How is that possinle
would be great if you add the conclusion in every factor. ex: in goal diference, who the best coach, what tactic or style they played, etc. i think its more important than just mention the club.
The fair play version was very surprising. The fact that some of the best teams are playing so unfairly even against so much weaker opposition is actually shocking. Servers you right ManUtd and Liverpool to be relegated to non-league football for kicking bad players in the nuts for fun!
You could imagine a player scoring a last minute winner in the final game of the season, taking their shirt off in the celebrations and then they get a yellow card and send their team down looooool
Holy Moly 5.2k views in 5 hours! Congrats on the video banging. It was great fun watching, especially seeing Barrow's exploits! Can't wait for the MLS save...
Barrow with the legendary strategy of just watch your opponents. Man that fair play ruleset would just be a league of diving though since getting your opponent carded would've been the aim of the game.
Far too risky. Keep in mind that in that fair play situation your opponent isn't really your opponent - if both teams finish with 0 cards, they both win big, but a 1-1 (in cards) would be a major loss for both.
I guess the cup rules weren’t changed which is why City and Chelsea were still winning the Europa League in the discipline one. Was alphabetical order not an option? That would have eventually got quite boring but would have massively switched everything up!

U made my day better

Giving Mario Party bonus star vibes 😂
You should change the weather and pitch quality of all teams to try and get as many games postponed as possible
That is a blood amazing idea! We could definitely sort something like that!
Could you do a video where the winners of the papa John's trophy get European football. In my save premier league reserve teams always win it.
Barrow is basically Butters from the Sarcastaball episode of South Park. Only good because he's nice 🤣

Inside every FM youtuber there's struggle between good and evil that cannot be resolved.
I am chaos Matto, I am chaos Matto

Barrow just watching teams put 10 past them, probably just having a lie down, like "did you guys not read the rules changes?"
I had a knackered shoulder like that. Went to the docs and was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and my world fell apart. Fun times.

Could you make a league where no matter the result, the game is decided by a Penalty Shootout, AKA the only attribute that matters is penalty taking
Barrow literally just stood back and lets teams score, no tackle attempts means no cards

Deeply confused psg turning up to barrow on a Thursday night
It would be so fun to play some seasons, but with those goal scored system. How would it influence the tactics...
Cool video. I hope you will do a save in the MLS one day.
Another awesome video Matt. Love these wacky experiments.
Some awesome ideas for mad saves in this video. Love it!!
Turning football into the inconsistent rules madness that is Rugby.
Because you mentioned that UEFA Bring Back the Away Goal rule:
I think without IT There are more thrilling Matches. I Like IT, we doesnt need IT back
Exactly what I needed today, thanks
Can it be set up for League positions to be decided by Random lottery?
You need to do more agent videos best content you do 👍
Pure chaos. I love it
8:29 contrast to IRL lol
Try the Europe points one but teams with European football can’t play in the cups (if u can)
How did Stoke even get promoted into the prem on discipline, I'd have thought they would have dropped into non-league
Matt my mum sympathises with your pain
Love this 👍
This title screams to be watched. so here we go!
accidently makes a universe where West Brom are one of the best clubs in the world but get relegated because they're also dirty 🤣
Omg
Nice vid
3:34 did Fulham win the fa cup?
Second
Don't forget to also give a non-league team lots of money, and put a big team in a much smaller league. Who knows what might happen!?
Meh
