Very nice selection. French bands (yes, I'm French) Terpandre and Dün come immediatly to my mind. Regarding my favorite genre : kraut fusion, Agitation Free, Missus Beastly, Aera and Embryo are must have IMO. And what about the wonderful Italian band Agora ? Excellent !
You certainly dig deeper than I do. I have heard of a lot of the bands you have mentioned, but I haven’t had a chance to listen to them yet. I always enjoy comments mentioning other groups. That is exactly the type of comments I’d like to facilitate from my videos. Thank you and I will give them a listen!
I was going to leave a comment calling you out on the bonus vocal track on the Dice album, but I guess I'll just say awesome episode and keep up the good work!
I listen to prog. music and I appreciate creative music. Yesterday I listened to Mike Oldfield Tubular bells and Nucleus Solar Plexus Today I am planning to listen to the Mahavishnu Orchestra complete Columbia Box album set
The wonderful thing about prog is that it casts a wide net on music which you certainly understand. Some accessible and some very avant garde. It looks like you are exploring your own music which is great. As long as it makes sense to you and it is authentic that is all that matters. You are definitely listening to great prog! I really appreciate the view and comment.
Great stuff Steve and a couple of names I need to check out , I saw quite a lot of Pink Mice in the cheap bins in Berlin but think I hadn’t done enough research on them , so didn’t pick them up - next time . Will be checking out Dice and Atlas . Looking forward to part 2!
Graham, always a pleasure to hear from you my friend. You might like the first Pink Mice album over the second since it features the Hammond. The second is very synthy which I like, but it is not always used well and can be a bit much at times. Atlas and Dice are a real joy to listen to in my opinion. Atlas was rereleased a couple of years ago and should be easy to find. I figured you’d have Collegium Musicum. You are one of the few that mention them. Part 2 is basically finished. I will release it in a couple of weeks. Thanks again!
Dice and Gryphon are the only two I knew so I’ll be diving in to the others you mentioned. Really good topic and I appreciate you sharing your knowledge of these albums. I’m looking forward to part two!
We definitely learn from each other in this community that is for sure. Hopefully I have a few surprises in the next video. When you think you have found almost everything you end up down another rabbit hole. What is there not to love about this genre? Thank you for commenting!
Wow, thanks for the education. I have to admit that I have never heard of any albums/artists you presented in this video. Your channel deserves more subs, IMHO Hecenia's La Couleur du Feu is a truly great underrated prog rock instrumental album
I did find Hecenia. I listened to some of the music off the album you mentioned and it is certainly beautiful instrumental prog. Wonderful keyboards! Thank you for the suggestion. I very much appreciate your support.
I would love to believe me. I’ve snuck in very small music samples in other videos, but there is always the threat of being copyrighted. I’m not monetized, but someday I hope to be. At this rate I am on a 15 year track before that happens. I do appreciate the view and suggestion. Luckily I believe a lot of this music can be found on UA-cam.
Thanks, einige kannte ich wirklich nicht…. 👍
Danke fürs Zuschauen!
Very interesting subject. Also, I think V is the Star of the show!!🤩 Min
Undoubtedly! Why do you think I put her in? If all else fails she makes a memorable cameo! 😁

Thank you for going easy on me. I lost sleep over including Dice on my list thanks to that darn bonus track.

It would be helpful to provide a 1-2 minute sample of each album you cite.
