I think the dash does looks a lot cleaner without the lens !!! That 68 is coming out super nice thank you for all the tips and pointers!! I'm also building a 68 custom and watching your videos has helped me a lot !!
The real question is how many of the door clips the door panel nails go into to hold the panels on broke. Mine were so dry and old I had to buy all of the for all 4 doors.
Car looked good before but with the Trim and wheels on it look KILLER 🙂 As you stated the paint is fun and fast but putting the rest of it together is very time consuming, and you have to be patient, no hammers 🙂 Everyone I know with a Dakota dash does not use any cover. I like the engine compartment very nice. You have to check before buying parts, prices are all over the place sometime, nice score on the Radiator and Fans, we must be related 🙂
@@lonestarlows Doing good, worked on the 64 all weekend. Working on the American Auto Wiring. Had to make sure that the Furnace was working because it gets to the 30's at night. Never buy a Nest Thermostat. Was going to go shooting with my Brother Saturday but he got sick, he will be fine.

Haha no. It's best to get it right the first time...trust me. It's really a 2 man job. Without having it whip around and scratch paint

They usually do break. The plastic is so brittle.
Yup, went to ebay and bought all new clips, hopefully I bought enough.
