I was thinking about the roof. If you still have the old piece, you can try to make profiles to have maybe a sheetmetal/hotrod/custom shop make a patch panel for you.

I know this will all be repaired but I myself would look for another Roof, it might take some time and a longer trip but Bobby has a lot of other things he can work on until a roof shows up.
Just my Opinion and in no way a Judgment on how this is going to be repaired.

Let's say the roof is good and only the edges or parts of the drip rail are rusted. How would you go about the repair?
probably the same. the actual drip rail itself is reproduced. but none of the inner structures are

I have the same problem on my 64. Mine is a bit worst. I bought a good roof. Do you recommend I replace the whole roof or just cut it up and patch it?
i think replacing the whole roof is easier.
