It was decided that Henry Tudor would be made king and that he would marry Elizabeth of York who was Edward IV and RIchard III's sister (and probably Henry's cousin but yenno ). The Yorkist coat of arms, originally a sun was turned into a white rose, which then when combined with the red lancastrian rose became the tudor rose. The only people on Richard III's side were those who were to scared to go against him or were being blackmailed, the Yorkists had largely turned their back on the mad king.
