Making A Better Hornby Bridge

  • This is the second video showing the progress i have made with using several Hornby Girder bridges i have. This shows what we have done so far, and asks for some suggestuions from you, the viewer.

    Good stuff Paul, refreshing to see ’real’ layout problems being addressed. I like the wooden walkways. Abutment - I’d be inclined to just make a supporting pillar. Bridge ends - leave as is, once they are primed and painted they will look as if they are built to fit.

    Paul You don’t always need an abutment, the other side with one is to hold back other materials ie embankment etc the one without is purely upright strength have a look at twin tunnel mouths , I hope this makes sense ,it looks good to me .
