    I just wish manufacturers could make an inexpensive older school style truck. We don't need all the tech. It ruins the experience. Just power, visibility, durability and a good stereo. No computer command center. The truck is gorgeous tho and I love it

    You need to clean up the info as a salesman. Exhaust brakes don’t save gas, they help slow you down and Chevrolet doesn’t make sierras....... just saying

    • @TheMVauto
      @TheMVauto  6 місяців тому

      That’s okay. I’m just a normal person doing a review of an awesome truck. Being a salesman doesn’t have much to do with product knowledge, it’s more about treating the customers correctly and getting them what they need.

    • @TheMVauto
      @TheMVauto  6 місяців тому

      I should mention as well that when you push the exhaust brake button on these, your miles to empty increases.

    • @user-od8cn5zx2x
      @user-od8cn5zx2x 6 місяців тому +1

      In order to treat the customer correctly a sales needs to have product knowledge. Hello. And the reason the range goes up is because the injectors stop firing when braking

    • @TheMVauto
      @TheMVauto  6 місяців тому

      @@user-od8cn5zx2x yes that’s true but having product knowledge doesn’t sell the car. Selling the car is selling yourself to the customer and making friends with everyone you see and that’s my strong suit.

    Typical salesman that knows jack shit about the product. There is honestly no need for an automobile salesman anymore. No matter where you go they have to talk to the manager about price, they don’t know shit about what they are selling, they want to just keep yapping and wasting time, and most of the time they are so inefficient at paperwork that it adds hours to the sale. I cannot stand EV’s at all but I’d much rather utilize Tesla’s sales model moving forward.

    • @TheMVauto
      @TheMVauto  5 місяців тому +2

      Wow man. You seem very upset about this. I’m not sure what I said in there that wasn’t correct but I do know quite a bit about these vehicles and I’m sure I know more than most. Managers handle the pricing of the store, that’s how it always worked. We want to talk to our customers. I try to actually make friends with the people I talk with and not just cause they want to buy a car but I treat them how I want to be treated and that is something almost no customer does with a sales rep. We’re instantly treated like dirt from the start because they had a bad experience 25 years ago. 90% of customers probably like yourself assuming for this comment would walk in and demand everything be your way and treat a salesman like garbage and then complain when things don’t go smooth for you. I’m not sure how you can possibly think that is a good thing. I personally have a Tesla because I’m great at what I do and I work hard to keep my people happy but I can tell you that the ratings Tesla gets for their way of showing cars is not very good. Anyways, I don’t mean to come off aggressive in this comment back but the truth is, the process at a car dealership is difficult and long 90% of the time because of the customers, not the sales teams.

    • @RMC2021
      @RMC2021 5 місяців тому

      @@TheMVauto Nope, not upset at all. I was simply stating that you are 100% do not have a mechanical/engineering brain at all and coming from a person that is very well versed on how things work, and the affects components have on the overall product, I can confidently say that you may have an interest in trucks and cars, but are definitely more geared towards people and interacting with them. I never once said that you weren’t good at being a salesman and I’m sure you have a good reputation as such, but you don’t know half as much as you think you do when it comes to technical/mechanical information. I have actually never ever demanded anything from my salesman when buying a vehicle and I’ve bought plenty of used and new vehicles. My point about salesman is that you are trained like a dog to ask certain questions to force a customer into a certain portion of negotiations so you have the upper hand - no secret there and don’t try to deny it. When someone like myself comes in to buy a new truck - as an example the one you are showing here - I already know 10x more than the salesman and the manager about the technical and mechanical properties of the vehicle. In fact, in most cases, I am more versed than most of the master technicians in dealerships. Of course they can pull a transfer case out and replace it, reprogram the ECU to accept the new part, but they can rarely tell me how it failed or better yet how it even works. I’m sure most people don’t have the same knowledge I do so I guess salesman are useful to them, but for me personally you and your peers are a complete waste of my time. That being said, I have never disrespected or been rude to anyone doing their job or tried to flex my knowledge on them, but overall I’d rather tell them what I want and sign the paperwork. I don’t need a tour, I don’t need you to tell me what I already know, I don’t need you to set up my bluetooth, and I certainly don’t need a middle man when negotiating. To me salesman are no longer necessary. I’d like to add, the last two new trucks I bought (2020 GMC 2500 Denali, 2022 Ram TRX) I’ve become friends with the salesman and I often see them every few weeks because they are good people, not because they “sold” me a truck. The funny part is both of them call me for advice on the technical and mechanical questions to help themselves be presented as someone that can talk to a gearhead like me and not look like an idiot such as yourself. I’m sure you are really good at talking to people and being friendly, but you don’t know shit.
      I’d like to add that it’s not a badge of honor to own a Tesla - EV’s are for the modern, soft, gentle man.
