I have had diesels since 96. I switched to a 2020 f250 7.3. Like you said it does the job just not as fast. Fuel is less so is maintenance and no def. There are always pros/cons but I probably will get another truck in 2025 and will also look at the GMC 6.6 gas if it will pull my 16k trailers and boats as well as my 7.3. Lastly if you removed what you had in the bed the height would have come up on that F350.

    I like the Silverado better
    The fords are ugly

I like that the Bison is its own trim engineered from the ground up, unlike the Tremor is just a package.
I still like that Ford has lane centering and better tech than Chevy trucks. I’d still pick the Bison gas engine since I don’t tow anything. Just need a big payload for an adventure rig.

Thanks for watching, I agree. Bison is a beast!

The Bison is not a trim level. The ZR2 is a trim level. The Bison package is an optional package that can only be added to the ZR2 trim level trucks. The Bison package is the unique AEV components. You cannot add the Bison package unless you’re purchasing a ZR2.

I like how the superduty has a lot less going on in the gauge cluster

A broke in diesel compared to a brand new gas motor, the difference in mpg in breakin is significant in itself. The ZR2 dwarfs that Ford

Ya I am curious about the break in also. The back of the ZR2 is atleast 1 inch taller then the F350 Tremor.

I like fords but i would take the gas gm. Diesel engines are too heavy off road wears suspension components and hurts capabilities and weight distribution. I add big heavy 300 lb bumper and winch and still be a few hundred lbs lighter then the diesel.

I just ordered a 2500 ZR2 gas, no bison package. $74k msrp. Slate gray metallic. I think the gas engine is better offroad, it's lighter and without the strict emissions. Great video, first ZR2 gas engine review I've watched.

I'm a Ford guy and a diesel fan, so I ordered a 24 F350 Tremor Platinum highoutput. I dont see the point of a gas heavy duty truck. I think the GMC at4x looks better than the zr2

Many people don’t want to spend an extra $12k plus interest for a motor that takes fuel that costs almost $1 more per gallon, DEF, regens, emissions issues, additional maintenance while a modern gas motor is more than capable towing around 16k and less. There are more gas HDs than there has been in decades because many people don’t need a diesel or the issues and baggage they come with

@Sierra2024z agreed, my usage the gas makes more sense, for some reason that hurts diesel fans feelings

@@brockloy2210exactly! The only advantage a diesel has is torque and 90% of people will never use it

I am about to order a new ‘24 f250 or 350 tremor HO (hope the strike ends soon)
When building online I noticed that selecting the tremor 250 you automatically get the upgraded rear axel and it says >11K GVWR.
With that being said - is there a diff between the 250/350 tremor? I’d love to know if the stickers still shows the 350 tremor with a higher GVWR.
I’m getting a 23’ RV that will weigh around 10,000 lbs full.
Not sure if I need the 350 tremor for the sticker or just stick with 250 tremor.
    Any advice?

Thanks for watching, take a look at this video....I compare F250 vs F350...I hope this helps ua-cam.com/video/ZUU6RQCugGk/v-deo.html

That was a good video. I’m wondering if the 2024 Trejo 250/350 will have the same specs on the stickers rather than just de rating it since the axel and leafs are the same

Nobody in their right mind wants an off-road 1-ton truck. Nothing like jarring your vertebras loose. THAT is why the ZR2 doesn't have an overload spring, because it's a 3/4 ton, basically the diff between 3/4 & 1 ton suspension.
