I absolutely love Julia Child. She is a Culinary arts icon and it is people like her that made me love the culinary arts so much.
I love all her shows. Such a sweet lady that loves people R.I.P Mrs Julia Child
She lived just shy of her 92nd birthday. Loved her
This woman burnt her food on national television and just ran with it.
Respect. We'll never have another chef like her.
Gordon ramsay
Yes she was great. She showed you how to save it and know one knew but you.
We do and he's better, ever heard of Gorson Ramsay??
My Mama and I always watched her. What fun we had! Miss those wonderful days and years with Mama. See you one day soon dear Mama! 💞🌷🌷🌷
I was just watching an older video of Julia and Jacques Pepin cooking, I always found them to be not only an amazing team but their friendship was like no other. I have so much admiration and respect for them both...they were cut from the same cloth, both masters in the kitchen but different ideas. I know after Julia passed, Jacque took it extremely hard..after all, they were not only chefs, they were Mes meilleurs ami ( best friends) The uniqueness about this pair was like no other. I still watch videos of them together up until Julia passed away. They worked together, respected one another and had a special bond. You taught us so much, not only from your kitchen, but your heart as well. RIP Julia💕
rest in peace julia child

I came here watching gordan Ramsay vs Julia child rap battle
I have discover her through UA-cam because nobody knows her in France and she was very sympathetic !
I have been watching episodes of "The French Chef" for the last few weeks. She was just such a classy lady...witty and making you feel comfortable. And the end of each episode, when she brings the food into the dining room, and she is just so proud, I really wish I was at a dinner party at her house.
Happy heavenly birthday mrs Julia Child 8-15-12 queen of the kitchen first to do it on national television bon appetit ❤
Dionne Lucas had a national U.S. cooking show on almost a decade before. She was a Cordon Blue professional chef.
She was born in the same hospital 🏥🏥🏥🏥 just everybody else on my side of the family who we all love 💕❤️💓❤️💓❤️💓❤️💓❤️💓❤️💓❤️💓❤️💓❤️💓❤️💓.
I just wish Julia Child were here with us. Her recipes are indispensable to every child.

I had the honor and privilege to see her kitchen in Washington, DC in 2009. Bless them for knowing that this should be preserved.
She was amazing Cook 😊😋😹🥳😂😂☺️😂 🤩😊😋😹🤣🤣😂😂😂 😂😂😂😂😂.
R.I.P. Julia
Your the best🌹💕
She's my favourite chef
The Smithsonian made one error in placing the items in the kitchen: the chopping block is rotated 90 degrees clockwise from how Julia had it in her kitchen. She had the knife holder on the right, between the block and the oven, not in front where it would get in the way while one was working.
@Rose Ann My comment was made three years ago, and I have since discovered why the Smithsonian did that. The oven they have isn't the right size, and it sticks out from the cabinet on the left side, into the space where the chopping block sits. That made it impossible to turn the chopping block in the correct orientation, so they rotated it 90 degrees.
Love her

Love This
There’s Julia and Gordon both legends
Unlike Gordan Ramsey Julia Did The Show To Love And Educate!
agreed. chefs today do it to boast, brag, and self promote.
You know his show's are entertainment based right? Not edutainment which is completely different. You want to learn? Watch is masterclass, ez
I've ALWAYS loved her shows and have had special interest in her many dishes.
Still better than Gordon Ramsay
Sylas Grayson
True, but that's not really saying much.
Her personality is better than Gordon Ramsay but Gordon’s popularity and net worth is better.I know she doesnt cook for money but she cook to show her love and knowledge to everybody
Eh, can't tell who better, both feels equally great.
Where is the footage of the Julia Child cooking demo at the Smithsonian History Museum from August 11th?

"How did she l til she was 100 in doing a project in school..."
What? You might want to have an English speaker proofread your comment.
Olive Oil
Nobody said she lived to 100. Why are you acting like someone in the video is making that claim? No one is.
@@joeymama4666 "Julia Child's 100th Birthday"...is a claim that she was 100.
Did she pass on

Great lady but Fanny Craddock had her own show in the 50s on the BBC.
The empty sherry bottles are missing, as well as the mess on the floor she left after each taping.
Pointless comment
So you bought her home and dismantled the kitchen? It wasn't pretty much before anyone else it was before anyone else
