It's mad that it's weird to see older, famous American actors without plastic surgery, hair dye and hair transplants. Real people, real actors right there.
It's a rare thing for sure. Specially in america. Maybe its because all of them came from theater and become TV Stars. Did not started has MOVIE stars. Can that be "it"?
It's so attractive to see real ageing, shame that so have fear of ageing and make themselves look ugly and contrived instead. It's lovely too to see older movies and music vids with people with their natural teeth rather than chosen off a menu!
I sat a few seats away from Bebe Neuwirth in a Broadway theatre some twenty years ago. She was actually breathtaking in person; alabaster complexion and shiny, dark curly hair. Gorgeous!
My Neighbor went to private school in Princeton New Jersey with her. I was invited to her first play which was Pirates of Penance. I am 66 years old and for some reason still remember Bebe in this play
I love Bebe and David. They're so genuine and warm. I hope they will at least appear as guest stars on the new Frasier. Lilith and Niles are wonderful characters. They gave me something to laugh about, and that carried me through some dark days. I probably wouldn't be here if I hadn't had something to make me laugh. Love to both.
I have been watching Julia and it is such a delightful show. It is my favorite show of 2022. Bebe is my favorite actor on the show because whenever the main focus is Avis she just lights it up. More people should be watching Julia. You will not be disappointed.
My favourite quote from Bebe about the Frasier show is "I go and deliver a line in a dead-pan tone, and then I buy a new Lexus" or something like that. ❤
Well, she does it THAT well. Lilith is one of the greatest characters recently created. Her first appearance on Fraiser is a testament. You just hear "the voice" and know instantly who it is and you know to buckle in.
@bigeric1030 Actually that initially seaaon 4 apperance waa only supposed to be a ONE TIME gig (Bebe was about to start a run in Sweet Charity which won her her first Tony).
Great interview and so lovely to see Bebe and David together for an interview, but I've seen so much publicity swirling around these 2 actors when Sarah Lancashire who played Julia is rarely mentioned or featured. She's the best British actor we have at the moment.
It really was a great interview just felt so natural and fun.... sometimes these type of interviews come off as forced and contrived. Really enjoyed this
clicked for bebe and David, was surprised to see Sarah Lancashire playing Julia, she's from my hometown in England, Oldham, saw her shopping with her kids once years ago. I didnt even know she did anything in the U.S.
The reboot was rumoured to be going to be out by now in the spring of 2022 after being delayed due to c19. We are in the midst of May and no Frasier 😐 Bebe said in an earlier interview that no one have reached out to her about reprising her role as Lilith.
Interestingly the original scripted line was "every day in France!" but it got changed either during rehearsal or shooting. And I agree, "Arkansas" is much funnier!
You have egg on your face!! That's an understatment!! No ACTUAL egg!! I LOVE that episode. I also love when (in The Apparent Trap) they are talking about thinking Fraiser wants to get back together with her... "Me and Fraiser!! Is there a chair here I could talk to!?"
Julia Child WAS an American gem. She did few GMA, Today Show type shows because she loathed the phony chat stuff the anchors did..was in a book GOOD FOR HER
My wife and I bonded during our courtship watching Frasier and to this day (literally, last night), watched rerun episodes which still bring us immense joy. Even our teenage son enjoys the show and we love to see him laugh as it's the only time we can get him to sit in the same room with us (LOL). While the whole cast were fantastic, Niles and Roz were our personal favorites with Bulldog coming in a close 3rd. That said, I can understand Mr. Pierce's hesitation on the reboot because as the saying goes, "You can never go back."
How can you have an interview about Julia without mentioning the person portraying her? Sarah is an incredibly versatile actor and they were lucky to have her. (Absolutely love Bebe and David by the way)
And I came to this video because a clip of the Frasier revival... Oh, how marvelous! Even as themselves they are on cue, interesting and can smooth conversation topics. Loved the detail about the dog.
Two superb actors. Ohhh Dr. Niles Crane and Dr. Sternin in my favorite Sitcom FRASIER. I still watch the reruns in Cozy Tv every single night. Love all those actors
My favorite episode of Frazier was when Nile’s caught the apartment on fire ,but i love all of them ,this looks great,i heard there’s supposed to be a Frazier reboot ,i really hope so .
I don't care if DHP lost his hair, I don't care if he is 30 years older than he was in Frasier, I still absolutely adore this man like I did when he played Niles. His soothing voice always gets me and that will never change.
Her name is Sarah Lancashire and she’s English. She first came to fame in the soap opera Coronation Street(it is the U.K.’s longest running soap. On screen since 1961!) playing a barmaid called Raquel. She ditsy and funny but a lovely character. After she left Coronation Street she went on to enormous success in a lot of British dramas. It’s nice to see her back to playing a character with a bit of comedy.
@@rosycandyhaven I found Sarah. Looking forward to seeing her in other things and of as Julia. I watched Julia everyday as a child. We had not a proper pit pan plate cutlery in our I'll equipped house. But as made my own home I made sure to have it all right down to the shrimp forks and butter knives. Couldn't spell hors deouvres but made wonderful friends from other lands and we bonded over breaking bread together and to much joy and laughter. Sorry, but I don't believe that they know nothing about the reboot! I could see the reboot surviving without the character of Lilith because she was a once-in-a-while character, but the original show might as well have been called Frasier and Niles, since the latter appeared in darned near every episode, and usually in more than a minor role.
Phobe was great in cheers, always having the best scenes with Frasier. David was great as Miles in Frasier & still watch these in the UK. Still funny in these less fun times.
Oh I'm sure there's many a roles Bebe could have been given (hell I'm sure a Lilith spinoff could have done well too) but her first love has and always be the stage. If you have never seen her live...I HIGHLY suggest going to NYC and seeing her in Caberet now while you have the chance.
David and BeBe are so delightful and wonderfully talented. I can't count how many times their characters on "Frasier" kept me in stitches!
Did you also like them on "Frasier"? 😉
@@ThiloAdamitz Good catch. It's called auto-correct and it sucks sometimes.
Agreed! They brought so much talent to the characters. They often upstaged the rest of the characters.
I concur 👍🏾
David Hyde Pierce has the most incredible gift of timing his lines and pacing the plot. He is awesome!
He Daphne would probably get divorced fascination with her has worn off. I never miss Frasier favorite show
I love David Hyde pierce so sooo much, the reason why I consistently rewatch Frasier.
Oh yes, Niles is my favourite character.❤

Bebe Neuwirth is so talented and versatile. And she has aged like a fine wine - a beauty.
and she was a dancer like bob fosse dancer

I agree! It's so refreshing to see famous people allowing themselves to age normally.
I love that she's never caved in with that regard¡! Still stunning!!

This is how people age with grace, amazing
...... And without plastic surgery. It's time the plastic surgeons go back to helping patients with disfiguring injuries.
I sat a few seats away from Bebe Neuwirth in a Broadway theatre some twenty years ago. She was actually breathtaking in person; alabaster complexion and shiny, dark curly hair. Gorgeous!
She still is!
She's letting her silvers come out, and she's going to rock those, too.
My Neighbor went to private school in Princeton New Jersey with her. I was invited to her first play which was Pirates of Penance. I am 66 years old and for some reason still remember Bebe in this play
Lucky!! I think I would have died then and there if I sat even anywhere near her
I have so much love for David Hyde Pierce. Such a wonderful actor. I adore Bebe Neuwirth as well.
Bebe and David are such class. Tactful, tasteful...quality all the way.
both class acts. I'm in the UK, but that sums them up perfectly.
Yes.
So good seeing them on screen together again. Loved them in Frasier

I understand this gratitude. During my loneliness, I keep Frasier on. They are like family; especially John Mahoney. He is my TV Dad.
I can totally relate. I love having Frasier play on in the background and I don't feel as alone.
I love love love David Hyde Pierce
Look at what great cheekbones do for aging. Both David and Bebe look terrific.
Thing about dancers, gorgeous legs and Quasimodo feet.
I love David Hyde pierce so much!!!

Just watched the first episode of Julia. It’s a gem, like she was.
Two of the best actors on TV. Memorable.
she has aged so beautifully..
BeBe is a very talented person, as is David. I still watch Frasier reruns and laugh and laugh and, I expect to enjoy "Julia".
It’s fantastic
There's still a few left
I wish Sarah had been a part of this interview too. They didn't even mention her. She is amazing!
YOU are so right! Sarah is amazing and her (slight) British accent will grace her playing Julia Child wonderfully.
I thought the same thing.

Classic exchange between Niles and Lilith.
Niles preparing a Thanksgiving turkey: What should I do now?
Lilith: May I suggest that you stuff it.

I adore David Hyde Pierce❤❤❤❤

I didn't know David is in this show. N he working with Bebe again. This is great. He hadn't done anything big in a long time.
Well, he did have the male lead in that revival of HELLO, DOLLY! opposite Bette Midler a few years ago... 😉
I saw him in Hello, Dolly and he was great! I saw him in another Broadway musical where he was lead (Curtains) and just as good!
I DO hope there is a Frasier reboot in the pipeline and that they are just acting 🎭 like they don’t know ❣️😅
