Great video! Im glad to see the quality rises from one video to another. One suggestion: teach us about killing treasure guardians efficiently, mby make it part of the micro guide because im sure its not that big of a topic for a separate video. Keep up the good work!
Great work as always; loved the graphic at the end!! Next thing, not quite sure how you'd manage to do this, but having a reference to show where you allocate villagers and when would be incredibly useful!
I'm looking forward to seeing your Dutch video! I adopted them when DE came out and I'm loving them. I'm particularly interested in a logistician build order. Having the veteran halbadiers in age2 has been quite useful.
Love your videos, packed with info, please please please keep it up! TBH i love watching your vids with some tea right before bed to wind down, then dream about them all night. I have been a die hard soix fan since warchiefs came out, but they have always felt underwhelming. The community patch was great with the res bonus teepees, but unfortunate that didnt get brought over to the lakota. I am sure it will be one of the last civs you do but i cant wait to see what you can do with them!!
Yo, Aussie_Drongo, what is your opinion on the card Virginia company? I always used it in the past (but im n00b) - my reasonin was, that after building 3 manors early, Virginia company saves you ca 800 wood, making it supperior to the 600 wood shipment in the long run... But then again i used to send it as second card after 3 settlers while i was still in first age lul... Also since British are highly incentivized to build max pop cap ASAP is it worth to build Saloon as second military building to spam Renegados and other outlaw units? I always found them to be really strong but screwed over by pop which is solved by being british.
Hey PotatoSmasher, love the name BTW. Virginia Company is a card which has a place, however in the fast pace meta of 2020, it often means it gets left out. Virginia company is quite honestly one of the best age 1 cards in the game, you save a huge amount of wood by taking it, but it is only normally viable if you're going to be playing a more passive early game due to passive enemy civilisations, with the card order being VC -> 700w -> 5v -> 700g. I can show a demonstration with a video if there is enough interest.
What about the quick manor building card? I found it satisfying because it was basically instant settlers but is there actually any long term benefit from using such a card early on?
Heya! Loving the videos so far. I got hit by a bizarre strategy yesterday that took me totally off-guard. I was Dutch playing against Aztecs, he went SUPER fast industrial, I noted his lack of map control in commerce age and tried to hit him early yo mess up his econ, but his warchief (buffed with dance + cards/treasures) and shipments fought me off. He then pretty much went from fort, pretty much instantly to industrial. Soon as he hit industrial he ran me over with about a dozen skull knights + Jags. Would love to see a guide about an Aztec fast industrial, had I been expecting it, I feel I would have beaten it, but it was so wacky and unpredictable I had no chance.
Honestly, it's better to go for mace/skull knights since you can spam 20 mace age 4 cards with the tons of XP you will be getting destroying the enemy with buffed war chief aura from big button plaza. Also: ua-cam.com/video/HSwnVcC9lKc/v-deo.html
Loving absolutely ALL of your content! I do have a request though which I think will be neat, are you open to the idea of creating playlists for your channel so for example grouping all the fast fortress videos under one area? Would be something I think would be great to see rather than scrolling through every upload each time. Again, loving all the content! Keep it up :))
I love your videos, the only thing that could be better for the BOs would be to put were and when the villagers in the description just to avoid having to watch the video 15 times : )
Could you do a short tutorial on treasure guardian mechanics/strategy? I notice you do a lot of kiting to take advantage of their strange ai and minimize damage, but i find it difficult to do without them refilling health
Always love your videos! I would be interested in seeing a proper Portugese water boom; it's a strategy I was never able to really master in the original game.
I would like to see some greedy fun builds like rev rush or fast industrial, but those vids can definitely wait till you cover the viable strategies first :D
it's been nearly 24 hours and I still haven't got a new upload from Aussie Daddy. The abstinence of content is causing me to shake and get nervous just like Yoda with his Ketamine addiction
I enjoy your new FF Series A lot! Do you plan to do a video about general timemarks e.g. what are Standard/fast/Slow Age up times so intermediate player like me become able to „read“ the strategy the opponent is going after? That would be incredible helpful!
Loving your content Would also appreciate a guide on Indians, I've found a bit challenging to find the balance between ageing up fast and having enough wood for settlers and buildings. Cheers
Would really Appreciate how to do some of the Native American Teams, (Inca, Lakota) they such a different build and strategy, especially since they lack conventional Artillery that it is hard to adjust to them. Any clues on how to FF them would be appreciated. Also, how to rush with China and how to FFa with China, they seem hard for me to understand since they do not easily get vils like other civs.
Great video Aussie! I've a couple of question though, if you please: 1 - If you had gone with Hussars instead of musks/grenadiers, what would be your mid and late game army compositions? Hussars and Dragoons on both stages? Any artillery? 2 - What would be different (army-wise) if you had gone in a 1v1?
I would like to play the game but I heard it removed all data from C drive from some users due to a critical bug. Is this fixed now? Is the game save to play?
Love the content but I have a question. Why did you choose the 3 vill card over the cheap manors card? I’m sure you have a reason I’m just curious. Thanks!
Russian semi Ff: Distributivism, 700 coin, 13 strelets, two falconets, suvarov reforms. Age with 14 villies, 2 of which were on wood from the start. Make sure you build a house and a TP early age 1. Age with quartermaster. During transition, put enough villies on coin to get 300 once you hit age 2 build a blockhouse (can be forward if you want.) If you built your TP in time you should have 2 shipments. Send 700 coin and 13 strelets. Make sure you build enough houses to support 65+ pop. Gather coin, age up with 17 strelets. (I usually click the button with 17 villies). in age 3, Ship in your falconets, upgrade to veteran musks, if you have spare resources, ship 10 more strelets. send suvarov reforms. good timing and resource management puts 30-40 veteran musketeers and 2 falconets in the enemy base at ~10 minutes. This strat can be prone to raiding against age 2 cav. Be careful.
@@LaddRusso91 you mind elaborating on your opinion a bit? I can see why you think it’s a bit memey but I’ve been able to make it work with success against multiple civs.
