This is a great video. I'm looking at a Ryobi 40V because i have their 40V weed eater and the batteries interchange. If the saw is as dependable as the weed eater it'll be great
@@BarnGeek on every ICE chainsaw I've used, the bar oil runs out around the same time as the fuel. With the electric chainsaw, is there a sight glass or do you have to keep checking the bar oil? I would also be curious to know how long the charge lasts and the battery degradation.
@@TheShiftPoint Yes, there is a view window that shows the oil level. I just fill it every time I charge the battery. I do need to test and see how much I can cut on a battery. So far, I have been able to get what I wanted to get done for the day on a single charge.
Impressive cutting that saw seems to be able to do the job

Thanks for the great review!
Seems to be similar to the Meec 40v sold by Jula, here in scandinavia.
But meec is with 14 inch oregon sword.
Nice video and great chainsaw!
Thanks 👍
BTW that young man knows how to cut ( undercut ) I've seen a few " experienced guys get their saw pinched wtg
Did you add bar oil? I know the electric I have needs bar oil. Ron
Yes, just didn't record that part. The oiler works good too.
