Having the same problem with my tweeter speakers on an Airstream 2019 Interstate. Rather than mounting new speakers in the doors is there a replacement speaker # that you might know of? Also my center speaker is giving garbled speech. Would you know that # as well? Thank you for a reply.
It's painful to try to listen to the voice audio just to be blasted with the music. Either the music needs to be turned down or the voice volume needs to come up.
You must be referring to the tweeter? I think that may be possible if you find that wire in the bundle and splice it to the crossover tweeter output. Interesting idea!
@@DadsVan the tweeters and speakers, you can just cut the factory plug out and wire it directly to the factory wire, that's how I ran my speakers on my 2012
@@duartepaintinghandymanservices Maybe the mixup here is that the Hetz Deci system I used has a crossover. Thus the factory signal has to come into the cross over, and then back out to woofer and tweeter. If someone is just replacing a woofer or tweeter w/o a crossover, they could just use the factory wiring.
The crossover splits the low and high frequencies to the speaker optimized for those frequencies. In short, sending lower frequencies to woofer and higher frequencies to tweeter
Just what I was looking for. Thank you very much for explaining in perfect detail . Subbed
Thanks for watching and good luck with your build!
YOU ARE THE MAN!! I have been searching for how to put the gasket/conduit back on the door. You are the first to show how... THANK YOU!!
Thank you! Yeah that part was a pain. Glad the video helped!
Thanks for video 😂 one of these days im going to attempt to change the speakers on 2015 sprinter.
Thank you! The upgrade is totally worth it! Good luck with your build!

Is your rig built on NCV3 or VS30?
Hi, what kind of spacers diameter on ebay? Too Many choice. Thanks
For these speakers it was the 6.5” speaker adapter with 5.625” ID mounting diameter
Not sure. How to tell?
Does the front of the vehicle look like the model years 2019 and newer? Or the previous style from 2018 and before

Thanks for the feedback! Making videos has been a learning process!
You really didn't have to run new wires, use cut the original plugs out and use them wires, way to much unnecessary work but you got it done

Whats the advantage of a crossover
