Honestly, the original video looks a little childish and naive. Yes, the world isn't perfect and there is famine and social inequality. Surprise, everyone knows that. Yes merciless capitalism and bla bla... Everyone can critisize it, but what is their proposal? What do they want us to do?
Never heard this one before, sounds good.. 👍🏼 There's this German band called "Heldmaschine" they're not bad also. I'd recommend to check out their songs "Weiter" and "Heldmaschine" They're the closest you'll ever hear to Rammstein
Absolutely! The more I hear from them the more great lyrics I discover. I like the music style but the lyrics of their most common songs were usually only good, but they have great stuff. Especially the darker ones like Kann denn Liebe Sünde sein? or Leider (amazing play on words).
The Tv studio video is age restricted so I had to watch it here, I find it very inspirational to create chaos in my society; I’m definitely gonna try something. I can’t be blamed for anything because I’m a minor.
*Finally* I got around to comment this! :D I apologize in advance, as this is going to be a long one! xD Yeah this one starts off "easily", with sad stuff I'm used to see, what with the poaching and oil spillings. And then it just escalates, lol. Regarding oil spillings, I just think it's mostly under reported. It wasn't that long ago the Yellowstone pipe line burst, was it? I might be wrong of course. That was underground, but it's still devastating destructions. (Actually I just randomly remembered that Rammstein has a song about an enviromental disaster, the song's called "Donaukinder", and is really good imo) I also took note of the news anchors and crew, how deplorable they all were. The men being sexists, checking out her butt, looking down on her and thinking she's worth less than them when dropping the papers and such, being incompetent at her work. She's not much better still, in joining in on the rest in having just as much fun and celebrating the good views they get from all the awful shit that goes on in the world (seemingly unaffected). And then moving on to the horrible footages of children so starved they can't even sit up by them selves, or young children being sexualized in pageant shows, learning that they're only worth something if they are *the* most beautiful of them all. That's just disgusting. Mistreatment of dogs too for the sake of beauty pageants is also really low. "Get fat, suck it out" sums this portion perfectly. And then the food processing, how inhumane and matter of fact-ly it all is. And it's like that in most places. We've had documentaries on pig farming and discussions about the chicken "grinders" here in Norway recently. And whatever is happening with the cats and the hot dog looking... thing - I have no idea what that's supposed to be, but it looks digusting none the less xD I totally get what you're saying about it not being "that simple" to do something about the military complex in America - but it's got to be a middle ground somewhere here :P Because of alle the money that goes into making weapons (and into rich people's pockets), large portions of one of the most wealthiest and most powerful lands in the world is basically living in third world settings. Both in regards to debt, education, healthcare and basic needs like housing, clean water and electricity. It's insane. And the propaganda and sucking up to war criminals, while doing war crimes themselves. And then when time passes, nobody speaks of it anymore, as you said. When it comes to impressive feats of humanity - I sometimes think we’re too smart for our own good. We’re smart enough to come up with these amazing things, while destroying ourselves and the rest of the world at the same time. That’s not to say that humanity is doomed, there’s still a lot of great things being done. It’s just a shame that so much is getting overshadowed by all the awful shit that are being done in the name of “science” or “justice”. And it’s all about who has the power and is feared the most. Still, as you said, lots of things are good. And going back to the “good old days” are rarely any better. In all the living standards, technology and knowledge is way better in our time, even though we’ve got more than enough with our own problems of “today”. To be honest, if people are getting depressed over watching the news - after 2020 I am not surprised! Lol. This year as well - most of the news (at least over here) is about either corona or the presidential election (which, to be honest, are starting to become better and better news imo), the most noteworthy non-related news here have been about cannibal reindeers and our beloved, historic ferry being portrayed as a slave smuggling ship in an American documentary series by Samuel L. Jackson! Lol. I guess you’ve got to take what you can get, haha. As an example of “masked interests” to start a war, you have the oh so classic threat of “weapons of mass destruction”. It wasn’t at all true, but hey at least the strategy worked. Lol, I realize I probably sound like a really pessimistic person, when in reality I’m not! It’s just what this video brings out in me. I can’t help getting depressed and horrified by this vid, but then again that was the point, so it did well in that regards xD I do like how we’re confronted by all of these horrible facts of life, and it really gets you to reflect over the world and one’s own place in it. But then again, it’s hard to know what I can do about it. And I have to give the video respect for bringing this up in this matter. If they’d just used the footage simply for the shock factor, then I wouldn’t have liked it at all. But here I feel like they’ve actually have a point they’re trying to get across, and that makes it okay in my book. Important, even. Even though it’s an unpleasant watch. I think the hardest parts for me was watching real footage of scared and suffering children, and real people dying. That’s a tough watch. I don’t really think this world will ever be perfect, but I do think we can get much better at looking out for each other, and will always have the potential to do great goods. As long as enough people do their part there’s hope 😊 Oh and lastly - I really enjoy the song! I liked it the first time I watched it (unprepared, lol), and it keep on getting better! Thanks as always for the reaction - and good luck replying to this one! Moahahahaa xD
Thank you for your message. I read the whole thing. :) As for replying... I'll leave that on stream, if you want to come with these points at me. Overall, everything you said, I agree. "Cannibal reindeers" what the hell... :D This is a veeeeeery large and broad subject and I don't think the YT comment section is big enough for it. :) There's a lot of complications to all these subjects. It should be a fun discussion.
A lot of things have improved in the last 75 years. Still a lot of work to do, and probably more to come. Can we change it, you and me? We can just do our part. And we are doing it right now by communicating directly across all boarders and continents. Maybe, hopefully we are on the right way. And I like Eisbrecher 😎
Personally, with the backing of stats, we are currently living the best life in all of human history, unless you're in a warzone or something. With that said, I'm not sure how much I'm helping but I'm trying my best to recycle as much as possible... I feel bad throwing plastic in the trash, for example. It's the least I could do. I agree with what you said about work to be done but we're on the right path, I believe. Keep the positivity!

Let me say something controversial: Kids starving in Afraca is not as fucked up as parents in western societies turning their kids into property to be invested in.
