Cant tell you how nice it is to see a company making high quality videos on their products! Would love to see you have an option to get a transmission heat exchanger delete pipe with the kit.
You can use the manual transmission heater pipe if you're running a fleece coolant bypass or if you simply want to delete the heat exchanger.
This is awesome. Installed this kit last month and spoke with Baron on the phone and he offered to answer any questions I had. Amazing customer service.
Do I own a Cummins… nope
Have I only ever had power strokes… yep
Why’d I watch this video…. Idk but it was highly informative and also who doesn’t love compounds
Thanks for the comment
What a awesome setup it is that you have put together, makes me want to go and compound charge one of my projects. 👌🏻
You should!
Would have been nice to see it run
you can in the we dyno'd everything in the parking lot video
My 3rd gen is about 2 weeks out for a set of compounds (just waiting for them to show up). Can't hardly wait.
Love to see u guys r hard at it. I been saving up for compounds on my 2nd gen 12 valve. But in lu of Oxford high shooting where we live have given all we can to support the families of the victims (Go Wild cats) pray for them they need it !!
when you have taken so many Ford cabs off to access engine, you simply yank the Dodge cab off for filming...love it.
Thank you for the comments
I would just knock the plug in the pan it won't hurt anything be better than metal shavings falling in there. Very nice video good job guys!
the filter’s there for a reason and its gotta go at the filter first then go where its supposed to go
@@TonytheCarEnthusiast only thing is the filter is after the oil pump, so the shavings go through that first
you could put a dab of grease in the plug that would catch the shavings though
Nice to see that even the pro's don't use the correct tool to remove spring clamps.
He's just showing you how the common man can do it at home since not everyone has the correct spring clamp tool. 😉
@@Itsa_Mea Well everyone should get one because it is nothing less than a game changer.
@@erikkovacs3097 agreed! I got the cable ones that allows you to get in tight places where pliers can't. Definitely a must have.
use a magnet next to your drill bit to keep shavings off
Sick!! Let's see a 4th gen!
Sweet, haven't put my pdd compound setup on yet, I've had it for months lol
Same here lol my kit sitting for a while to
I wish I had the self control to let new parts sit around! The day they show up, I’m tearing my truck apart that night after work and potentially not sleeping until it’s done for the next day hahaha
@@mitchvankesteren6771
Lol I use to be like that, I have 5 diesel trucks tho. I'm always doing something to one of em
It's a good idea if you lift the cab, to get the rear freeze plug kit to get coolant flowing better by cylinder 6 also because that's where the cummins has a tendency to have heat issues is typically cylinder 5 and 6 mostly 6 ❤️
yes it was done off the video
Good Job Baron. We miss you in the crushin world.
Love the install videos!!
Sure would like to have one! It would look nice on my rig i don't know what low egts look like lol
Please please show a driving video and dyno! To show what it’s like
If you don’t have an S&B….get☝️ Clean set-up👍
Need a good video of the truck out running and all
Great video, kinda sad to not see it rip after the install.
Maybe someday
When are we going to see the godfather make 3000hp?
Keep up the awesome work
Def seems much easier with the cab off. But love it.
Can the exhaust side of the turbo housing and exhaust piping be ceramic coated? Haven't seen anybody doing it and as I am not experienced at all with diesel engines I was just curious
Absolutely! We have done them. Keeps them looking nice
Looks great thank you 👍🏻
Hope you enjoy
I can't wait to get the money to do this!
You recommend head studs for this setup? If so which I am sure you will what stud would be sufficient? Adrian
Yes you'll want studs, I used arp 2000s with a slightly larger compound setup so I'd say they're sufficient for this. Ifg and optitorque also make good studs.
For sure. I really like the opti torque torque master studs. The arp 2000 are good as well but I had this set very close to 1k hp and I like a better stud at that level.
@@pddofficial twin turbo
That $100 heater tube is now $900 from dodge for my 2004.5 in Canada
Still $125 on rock auto....
That is my next setup. Right now I have a BD Ironhorse kit on with a 63/78 turbo. Wonder if this kit will work together or if i have to go stock?
This kit "should" work with any he351 variant of charger.
@@pddofficial Thanks a bunch. Awesome video
Would be nice to see it run
Hi here is the link of the dyno pull on it ua-cam.com/video/pw0jkYafcCk/v-deo.html
Still need to add little bit of oil in new turbo before installing feed line?
Either that or crank it with the injectors unplugged for a minute to get oil pressure to it
The PDD gang is dialed in
Why not second gen swap the manifold at the same time to make better flow and keep rear cyl cooler?
I want to see u install the compound kit with the cab on.
I have an 07Ram with a 5.9. Is there a way to make my PacBreak exhaust break still work with this system?
Is it one that mounted off the turbo?
@@pddofficial Yes. It is. Thanks
Love how he says 35ft.lbs and proceeds to deadlift the truck using the wrench lol.
That is one clean set up!
Amazing
Hi Baron that was a great video I'm sure it's going to motivate a lot of people
Just one question will it fit on a 4th jen PDD don't do much for the 4th jen trucks
I would be willing to bring you my truck for R and D
Take care stay safe and God bless you 🙋♂️ 🇬🇧
Can we still run a exhaust break with a twin set up like this ?
It would have to be a remote mount style after the s400.
Awesome video I can’t wait to twin my 11 Cummins! Also I learn that 35ftlbs is equivalent to 2 oogah dogahs! Lol
Takes me 5 hours and a case of beer just to change my oil lol
Could you make a 2nd gen swap with compound turbos for an 06 5.9
No sorry we do not do one off setups.
Is that airbox air tight and suck in 100% of the air from the front grill or wheel guard?
Yes the S&B is a sealed box.
Will this kit still work with a steed speed exhaust manifold?
Do a compound set up on a VP 2nd gen!!
Been done MANY times...
They have one…
@@marcushert2759 I couldn’t tell I’m half retarted…
same kit should be a pretty close fit on a 2nd gen as well, you'd just need the 3rd gen manifold and HE351CW as well
is it me or is that from tyre wrecked? 26.34
All this on stock headbolts?
Not for long...
Do you need a tuner or bigger injector in order to install this turbo?
No injector needed works great with stock fueling a tuner is highly recommended whether it be custom or at least a smarty so6.
Files are uno directional bud. Love the vidyo any difference on the late 3rd gens with the 6.7 with shit missing?
we have never tried to install this system on a 08 or newer.
I don't know if your video editor looks at these, but could y'all ask him if there is anything that resembles a 🔇 In his editing software? Thanks!
We need a video for 2nd gens
ua-cam.com/video/SrWM5JZHE7I/v-deo.html
How does an exhaust brake work with this? What brand is recommended?
They work great! You can either use Pac Brake or BD diesel inline
@@pddofficial thanks, also where does the brake usually install at in this assembly?
Assuming you guys don't like never sieze, 'Oring' lube or loctite. Not sure I'd remove that freeze plug like that🧐
Great video
Yes!
You're first, congrats!
🍪
When will this be back im stock
Depends auto or manual?
How so you order the exact package I already look that link and doesn't give you that option
What name of big one turbo in your setup?
It is the Borg Warner 472sx-e
@@pddofficial thanks bud!)
I been saving to get compounds for my 2nd gen but in lu of Oxford high shooting and living in Oxford some has been give to support the Oxford families. Go wild cats. (Always worth it to give anything u can to help) pray for us we need it !!
I mean…. Did it get connected to an intercooler or what?
You’re great in front of the camera, now you need a lavalier microphone.
Sweet!!!
Will it work with a fleece cheata also?
Did I miss the intercooler piping install? Lol
no you did not, because you can technically still run the factory boots we did not feel it was necessary to show how to install the intercooler boots in this video.
That is not the way to remove block drain plug lol woah!
I was noticing the truck in the video doesn't have head studs, is it safe to run this setup on a stock fuel truck with stock headstuds?
no it is not safe to run with out head studs after we finished the video we installed head studs, a 178/208 cam, stage 2 pushrods and 4.5 valve springs. and 30% over DDP injectors.
On the Ac line thing. They like to come unseated. Not the end of the world, but dont be surprised if it happens to some of you.
How much does it cost
something like this for 2nd gen?!
They have this for 4th gen
no sorry only 03-07 5.9
Drill into that oil drain port sketches me out. Is there any other way to do that. Could you just punch it out and leave it in the bottom of oil pan?
Have a friend hold a strong pencil magnet to it off to one side as you punch on the opposite side with a small punch. Most of the time the plug will cock sideways in the bore and the magnet just gives it more reason too. Then you can yank it out with a needle nose pliers.
Another thing you could try is to screw in a sheet metal screw into it, the none self drilling type. Once you do, you could use a slide hammer to yank it out. You may still get a small amount of shavings in the pan but it would be way less than using that drill or a self drilling screw. I would still change the oil when done.
Compound no head studs?
They did put head studs in just did not show it in the video
@@pddofficial I have ARP 425 head studs but have seem people saying you need 625 any thoughts on this?
@@questforknowledge750 arp 2000 work fine below 700hp

BUY NEW HOSES DAMMIT THEY ARE CHEAP COMPARED TO A DAMN FAILURE..... EVERY HOSE ON THE TRUCK....... WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU??
Some nice high temp silicone hoses would be nice.
Diesel guys just casually bolting on complicated compound turbo set ups.......
I cringed a little when the air box went on, but I couldn’t tell if the pipe from the small turbo to the intercooler was on.
