I don't know how I missed this video! I love all the textures and the beautiful prints that you created. I agree that the roll off sheets are incredible, and the paper you used for rubbing the textures onto the plate looked quite yummy by the end of the session. I so appreciate watching you play and experiment with all your mixed media. You have inspired and energized me. Thank you so very much!
I have been stuck at home all week with a bug and no energy, and your video with the lovely fabric prints was just what I needed this afternoon. Lovely to see the roll off paper getting a second life too! Thank you!
Your friend gave you a bag of treasures. Thanks for showing us this. I have more fabrics than I know what to do with. I’m getting out my gelli plate today.
Thank you so much Lisbeth I really really enjoyed watching you create those beautiful and wonderful prints. Absolutely amazing and even the ones that were not as dark, were also beautiful too. I’m going to go through my fabrics to see if I can find something similar too. Please stay safe and well too xxxx Mags ❤❤❤❤❤ Love all of them ❤❤❤❤
I am sure you can do it that way, but I think it is quite messy and you will need much more paint and your brayer will get tangled up with threads and fluff from the fabric.
Hope you feel better soon, Lisbeth! I love your gelli plate videos, so inspiring. And it never seems like you are babbling, to me. I enjoy hearing your thoughts and thought processes.
Yes, there are 1000 of ways, but I like the once you can make of stuff you have already and don’t costs a nickel. I live in Denmark and last year I tried to by some art foamies from the USA and that was impossible.
Thanks and I think you should give it a try and let me know if it works. The times where I have been gelli printing onto fabric, my experience is to use a little more paint on the plate.
Thank you. I use all kind of paints from Golden to cheep crafts paints. Since I live in Denmark I use brands you probably can’t bye where you live. That’s why I don’t mention any brands in my videos. So use what you have and experiment. Yes I do allow a little drying time depending on how mush paint there is on the plate and the paper

that was such fun! try loading paint on the fabric itself and then print from that and not the plate

🐝Your love of texture shows in the choice of your beautiful rings as well 🤩
🙏😊
Another way to get an impression of the textures is to use stamping foam …example by Simon Hurley

Great idea, and very successfull. I wonder what it would be like to surface print them onto fabric, such as cotton lawn or silk?

Lovely! I want to try!! What brand of paint are you using? Are you allowing any drying time before pulling the print? Thanks for sharing!

Love your work. If I may, I suggest trying a clean or at least dry brayer to make a more defined impression than hands alone can make.
