I think she's implying she doesn't need an excuse to take a break. Holiday in the US refers to an official day of the year that everyone takes off
I'm pretty sure holiday and vacation have separate meanings in the UK as well.
Lucas Layton Holiday is used to refer to both. Vacation is an exclusively American term.

Everyones experience is different. You would think some of these 90's kids, talking so much about how every show/movie/ whateves was good, would, if they cared enough, would pursue a media career, so they can share what they enjoyed when they were younger, with todays growing kids.
