Oh man this song brings back so many great memories! I remember my brother and I were SO excited about the Pokemon movie when it first came out and it delivered everything we expected. This song was just like the icing one the cake. I sang this for weeks after.
I was in the Yukon when it came out. Ancient mew card was what I relly wanted. Was told I could go down to the theater by myself, so I did, Said I just wanted the card and would buy a ticket, the young girl gave me a stack of like 8. On the way through the airport back home I saw a kid who had a handful of cards and he just had the face of "this is my world" and I gave him an unopened card. He didn't get a card because where he went were out. I ended up with two left. One in my deck and one for the collection. Handed down to my kid as I got too old for it in my mind, little fucker lost it. I say little but he's 18 and taller than me, lol.
It is so strange that while listening to these songs from my childhood, I still really like all these songs. It means that 90s had some great music that never dies!!!
This song is so awesome! If you didn't know it was from Pokemon, you wouldn't know. This is a stand alone song. I love music from soundtracks that are good enough to be relevant outside of the soundtrack. And this song really does bring back a lot of good memories. I remember listening to this song a lot on Radio Disney.
I remember jumping on the bed, singing and jamming to this song over and over again. :)
The first time I watched Pikachu's Vacations, It was epic, everybody was having fun, we met new pokemon. Aww I miss those days.

@mentonerodominicano I was 4 around that time and my sister bought the CD and we still have it today (Although it has scratches on it).
Songs like this from back in the day are so much better than alot of this new crap we have now-a-days because singers and rappers have mainly become obsessed with money and fame. Only few of the care about the music more than the money and fame.
