I came across your video checking if I could use a computer monitor to change settings. Great video answered my question. I been using this RSX1050 with B&W speakers and love this receiver for 10 years. My issue just got smart TV and just hooked up the cable that uses light to transfer the sound forget the tech term and works perfect just had to switch manually to optical 1 for I dont have remote yet. Your video answered that also. Also not sure if my sub not working or some setting within hence the monitor. Thanks. If I may link for the replacement remote please.
Get yourself some EPI TE 360s and WOW! Big speakers, three way with that same tweeter. A WALL of sound! Some of the best from the time period. AND, hard to find. The plastic coating on the mids and bass drivers are usually shot-and the foam as well. The coating cannot be replaced but there is a guy in N.H. that worked with Burhoe who rehabs Epis and Genesis and also provides complete replacement drivers to spec or better. Rotels are OK but I do prefer the warmer sound of the silver face '70s receivers. And even the earlier NADs. Agree about the Bostons. I have a pair of A100s that are a daily driver and some A200s upstairs-I run those on a NAD power amp and Nelson Pass Nakamichi pre-amp. A very nice pairing.

Bought this long time ago for very low price but sound was not for me :/ and one big issue if you lost remote control nothing you can set .
This is true! Without that remote this thing is about useless. There are after-market remotes that "work" for a few bucks.
