Big fan of the European style of power metal and folk metal as genres, but as a Christian I have to balance the listening with other fare given the heavy pagan influences. As a student of history, I also love songs that make me stop and do a little research about their content. You seem to pull content of Christian figures and events from across history and denomination which I also appreciate, an acknowledgement that the Body may extend beyond our own expectations, all the while still within Christ. Your songs are an encouragement, please continue.
Thank you for the comment. Yes, this channel aims to cover a variety of topics and time periods and isn't limited to any single denomination. I'm glad you like the songs. A lot more to come, God willing.
Aside from possible occasional collaborations, the "band" is just me writing lyrics and using AI tools like Suno to turn them into music. "Echoes of the Sacred" would be the name of this channel and I guess that would be the closest thing to a band name. That's the name I plan to use when I release these on iTunes, Apple Music, etc. At the moment, they only exist here on my UA-cam channel.
@@EchoesOfTheSacred Well Bonifatius was murdered near, what is now Dokkum. most likely because of his missionary work. And i thought a informative song about his time in Frisia, could be quite educational. As far as genre is concerned, I'll leave that to you. But may I suggest, a Bardcore/Christian Folk Metal mix?
@@DraganGrazic I suppose that's a possible topic for another song about him at some point (though probably not in the very near future). I'll also keep the Bardcore idea in mind. Would have to experiment a little. Thank you for your comments.

I'm not a Christian. If anything, I respect the mythology of the old gods. I dislike how good this song is. Well done.
Thank you for your dislike. 🙂
@@EchoesOfTheSacred I did give the song itself a thumbs up, just to be clear!
@@merovekh That's admirable open-mindedness. Thanks.
The true God awaits the return of His lost child.
So is the band called Saint Boniface? Echoes of the Sacred? Axe of Faith? I'm trying to find the band to listen to more songs.

Yet another banger of a song. Not what I had in mind, but very enjoyable to listen to nonetheless, well done.
D.A.I. Grazic.
Thanks. Just out of curiosity, can you tell what you did have in mind? Like what genre, what focus in lyrics, etc?
