I don't believe him. I think he'll be putting out videos for the next few years. The only thing that might slow him down is if he gets married again and has a child. I loved what you had to say about learning a language. At the age of 54 I decided to learn Norwegian. This decision came after the death of my grandmother who was of Norwegian descent. It is far more difficult than I invisioned, mainly because I don't know anyone that speaks Norwegian. But nevertheless I press on.

Bald - you've had such a huge impact on travel channels and vloggers, laying the foundations for a renaissance of simple, pure videos. Just how UA-cam was designed to be (Broadcast Yourself). Most UA-camrs I know feel like a slave to "the algorithm" and you just seem not to care and focus on making good videos, which is simultaneously the simplest concept in the world and also the hardest to imagine for people who've been asking the internet to "smash like" every day for the past few years. Super glad I got that one Moldova video in my recommended in 2019 which led to me watching every single video of yours. I'm along for the ride til the last stop.

The impact a legit channel like Bald can have: Me and my best mate always watched Bald's video's and fantasized about going ourself. Then we did it. First Warzawa, Poland. Then Romania, Moldova, The PMR (Transnistria) and Ukraïne. My best mate found a lovely girlfriend, from Dnipro. We still talk about the Adventures we had. And oh boi, we had a lot. We have this running joke that if we filmed it all Vice would hire us. I never want to stop seeing you uploading man. Coming from a soviecki background, having left all my friends and family with my mother to move to the UK mid way through growing up, in my early early teens. Coming to a country without any knowledge and learning a completely new culture and way of life just to stumble across this channeling my 20 brings back so many memories. Bald, you have open my eyes up to my post soviet home. Never in a million years have I would of though and English man like you would just wonder them lands with such confidence and show everyone what life there is truly like. It would be a dream to go on an adventure with you, your content keeps me going man. Can’t wait to see when Lithuania is up next on the map.

@@jsmith7888 There's plenty of English speaking countries he could visit where it's a first or second language. And Bald has a fantastic way of finding everything to see which isn't a tourist trap. A good portion of the UK. South America, Central America, North America, Australia, New Zealand and plenty more.

Sadly I have a few chronic conditions which makes travelling a bloody nightmare. Plus my travel insurance is so expensive. I’ve had to let go of my dreams and trying to create new ones.

I was definitely upset too, but part of me is happy because one of the main things about this channel is that it has always given me hope that no matter what your situation is you can always change and that you never have to stay in one place in life. And let's be honest, no one could do this forever. I would hate to see an old, tired and bored Benjamin wondering about because he feels like he can't do anything else. Change is the nature of life and this channel is proof that you should embrace it. How lucky we were to have it.

@@saltyos2299 the thing is you’ve only been shown stuff the media portrays which is the undeveloped side so I can see why you’d be scared and have this opinion. I’ve been seeing how especially other countries and their media portray India and it’s always shown as undeveloped etc and every country has good and bad sides. You’ll be surprised to find just has many high sky scrapers and cities in India than you would elsewhere. Take trip to Bangalore.

To be fair there is still quiet few post soviet countries left he didnt even finish baltics. Now when all the travell restrictions is in place i dont think he will get it done any time soon

If you guys think about it, there are probably only a handful of blessings that we can count on that feeds our soul and gives us purpose, energy and momentum to carry on and that's - Family, extra money, our health, our children, great food, music, a cool or warm breeze that rushes across our face suddenly, the warm glow of the sun, gentle rain hitting the windows and roof, the soft roar of waves coming in, barefoot on sand or grass, love, romance and intimate moments with that special someone, and many other things as well, but another blessing for many of us is being able to escape along with Mr. Bald. I am not sure if he realizes this, but we don't really care if it's Russia ( Russia and all of those other countries however are really beautiful, beautiful people ) however, we would follow him anywhere to be honest.

Ben please don’t quit UA-cam at the end, I’m sure there are many locations non soviet related that people would love to see that you have the power to go and see. As others have said you have pulled them out of sadness and depression just by watching your videos as they take our minds of what’s worrying us and make us dive on this insane trip to remote places we’ve never even heard of with you. Please keep it going I’m more than happy to become a patreon to help out with these trips as I’m sure many of us are!!!
