Vance picked a good one. Someday when everyone is tired, you're an hour away from camp and he is fussing, point to that gorgeous color and tell him the story of how he made the van beautiful!
Love the color Vance picked. It goes so well with your beautiful seat color. Very nice choice. Would love to have your painting tips. 😊 Your cabinets come out so smooth they almost look sprayed. 👍🏼
You guys are really good to be helpful to others. Thank you. Yes, do paint tips. Also, do the color of your sweatjacket. It's a perfect combo of the two samples and the complementary color to your orange/brown chairs.
Thoughts on purchasing a 170 passenger sprinter? Seating can be removed, it’s already insulated and has rear air. The windows are already installed, so no need to make cuts in the van there. I’m sure I’m missing plenty, being that I’m new to this and looking for my first sprinter, but it seems like a time saver when compared to a base cargo van. Great channel, content and builds. 👍
Thankyou so much for these videos! I'm starting my build soon and searching lots of videos for first steps in the process, going to watch this one a few times .... btw, Vance picked the right color👍
Hi Alex and Sara, I got some samples of FRP a few days ago. The company is Marlite. They sell different styles and material blends of 4x8 panels. The panels are used in commercial buildings . The panels are water resistant. I was thinking of using them in a van shower, bathroom. The cost is much more than the home center but it's a thicker and better quality. They do sell the home center ones in different colors. These panels remind me of the tile pattern ones in the rack at the home improvement stores. Take a look and let me know what you think.
Vance chose such a pretty color 😍Can you make him a sign using that color? That being said, I think Demo Day is the way to go with your warm seat color. It looks fantastic!
Hey guys, I have a question about your builds. Do your customers provide the vans or do you guys purchase the vans on their behalf? And I guess if you're purchasing the van is there anyway to get around putting it in your name and paying the taxes and fees associated with that? Almost like a used car dealers license but something that allows you to purchase the new van, make all of the upgrades and then pass it along to the buyer without having to put it in your name, etc. Thank you guys!
@@SaraandAlexJames thank you!! Your van build series is so cool and shows how much goes into a van and the differences between people doing it the first time and those that have done it before. Any thoughts on doing a video about sink/shower location considerations? Just in regards to the plumbing. We all hear same side is easier but then a lot have sink in the door entrance and shower across. That said I have no clue if a builder would run pex in the floor across, or soft tube to pex. Or have to build up the floor, assuming you didn’t have a fixed bed wall to run the lines and more the bench/lounge set up you rock.

Darker color! 💚
The one Vance chose will be beautiful! I love that shade!
Normally I would say to go darker, but Vance’s choice actually reminds me of your logo and would be really pretty with the seats.

How are the 3 ceiling boards attached to the furring strips?
Did you just use a nail gun and puddy over the holes?
Hi Guys, can you share where you get your shiplap boards from for the walls?
Go with the darkest paint!
Would love some painting tips!
Will do!
@@SaraandAlexJames me too.....and which white color do you use
Light one.
Omg your son looks just like James
How is it possible to stack any two objects on top of each other?

Are you using self tappers or riveting the ferring strips?
We pre drill and use #10 stainless steel screws.

The one Vance picked! The dark one is too dark.
Vance's colour
Really paint is just easy and cheap. Laminate is a solid surface last forever.
Hi, how tall are you Alex for reference on your ceiling height?
I’m 5’10”...ok...5’9” 🤷🏻♂️
@@SaraandAlexJames Cheers.
Vance’s color but a little more tint added. (lighter)
I sure would like to have a professional van builder to work with me on my van when I get to the place in my finances.
Darker color
Venice’s color.
the lighter color
Definitely not the very dark one.
Stained
dammit, cut three times and its still too damn short!
Alex don’t sing keep building vans
