I am currently on a road trip from Florida to Brooklyn, NY and this was a very special night. Watching the fight on my phone with my two brothers. We were cheering for George and he showed amazing speed, skill, resilience and grit. He has a lot to be proud of.
Wouldn’t take much of what fighters say straight after a fight too literally. It’s a ridiculous thing to interview a fighter so soon after a brawl.

I feel sorry for these boxers that have dad trainers. It’s a weird situation to be in, chances are their dads aren’t qualified to train world class boxers but you can’t betray ur own dad. Mental toughness obviously from George, but what impressed me was his engine and his skills. His concentration on what Teo was throwing was impeccable, his reactions and high left shoulder to stop Teo connecting with the right hand was superb in my view.

It's great to see Kambosos Snr's pride and emotion here. The contrast between the corners last night was striking. Kambosos' corner was professional and calm. Teo's corner was a hot mess of contradictory advice, questionable work on his cuts and re-hydration, and overall an air of amateurishness. Teo's lack of graciousness & bad sportsmanship at the end was horrible to see too. Badly brought up? Don't like to say that, but add that to the chaos in his corner, and it's clear to me he needs to ditch that clownshow, his dad included, if he wants to fulfil his potential.
You can tell that Eddie LOVES this sport . That’s what it’s about . Loving your job and helping others

If you really watch the fight again or payed attention, George had one of the most beautiful uses of that stiff jab I’ve seen in a really long time. His jab was seriously something else. George’s style and patience was spectacular to watch. Great fight for sure. Definitely top 3 of this year. I knew George would pull it off! Let’s goooooooo!
Kambosos was excellent I'm so happy for him, I was a teofimo fan but the run up to fight week really put me off him. they were too complacent looking beyond and trying to call other people out, hopefully he has a bit of humble pie and comes back better for it

Rugby is a great sport for youngsters to develop strength and conditioning. Need to keep it to touch rugby while they're young due to the threat of neck injuries but rugby gets you in great shape...

You could see it in his eyes he was winning this fight. I Waited for ages for this one and it was far from disappointing. The opening fights were alright but having massive cards we all love. Kambosos is a true champion up late in scotland but i would say best fight of the year in that weight. Edge of the seat kind of stuff :), they were both fighting hard and it was something special to remember in Boxing. Condolences to Lopez but he's young enough and can come back especially with the power he's carrying. Wow. Now if he hit only one of them Bombs anyone would be toast, but Kambosos was using the ring walking in then out fighting from the outside and ever weary of being hit by the Lopez Hammer. Kambosos i thought boxed quite beautifully and he was well fired up which showed how in the moment and focused he was.

Those last rounds got me shaking! So exciting. George made a lot of fans in that fight. I thought how he dealt with 'delusional' child Lopez afterwards was class.
Simon Hancock Fair comment. It was a formidable display of spirit and belief that won Kambosos that fight. To the extent it's different, Kambosos' skills and resilience wasn't too shabby, either. Teo probably still can't believe it, though he'll need to accept it. Good win for Kambosos.

In Australia, we're famous for the size of sporting crowds, especially here in Melbourne. We have a 100,000 seat stadium. If they raise the ring enough to sell ground level seats they could easily fit in 120,000. With a fight for every single marble against Haney and with a salesman like Hearn, it won't be a problem getting 120k. Even though Kambosos is from Sydney, here in Melbourne we have a big Greek community. One of the biggest in the world. So, you put together the Melbourne sporting public, people flying down from Sydney and the Greek community.
120k would make it the 4th biggest boxing crowd in history. I wonder if they could actually have 40k seats on the ground to make it the biggest attendance ever.
