The first-round knockdown was one of the most thrilling moments I've seen in quite some time. This victory by Kambosos was one of those rare but tremendously satisfying moments in boxing when the underdog comes through and thumps the loudmouth. Great performance by George; a truly famous victory for him.

Those explosive trades between the fighters were my favourite moments in the fight aside from the knockdowns. EVERY time Kambosos was hit or rocked, he fired back, and was gladly willing to trade. I’m such a huge fan of him now and would LOVE to see him against the other top lightweights

Teo fought too emotional, underestimated his opponent. Recklessly rushing in instead of smart aggression. Kambosos was very calm and collected, sharp timing and counters too.

Of course, you can tell by the interviews he was having he was sliding back and a big part of that is his father…..he got married and seemed to be getting level headed…..seemed to be getting more sober minded…..he was having issues with anxiety and depression…..but seemed to be doing ok…….extremely talented young fighter…..but his trainer puts unnecessary pressure and is too unstable

What a fight I hope this division of fighters get more respect throughout the fighting world because this battle was one of the best fights I have seen in a while.
Everyone who watches boxing regularly knows the lightweight is the deepest division by far. Keep this in mind in 1 division is sitting Lomachenko, Lopez, Garcia, Haney, Davis, and apparently out of nowhere Kambosos. They're probably hiding another gem in there somewhere too
I cheered for kambosos since he was the underdog because he wasn't known. Round 10 was insane since he stood his ground and didn't panic to much when he almost got knocked out.
Every time I watch that, I can't help but throw my hands up and cheer! I've been a boxing fan for over 25 years. I was also born in Australia but grew up in the States. Greatest victory in Australian Boxing History!
Specially if u replay the moment of knockdown in slowmotion (0.25x speed) u can really enjoy the beauty of the technical setup that leads to the knockdown. I mean the way he uses Teos own hand ot camouflage his swinging devastating punch is amazing. Its a hard to master punch
Teo's big mistake was trying to get that first round KO. Kambosos came to fight 12 rounds not just one and in the end he had enough to win it on the cards. Amazing fight from both guys!
It's so refreshing to see rightful winners be called rather than the apparent A-side with all the belts and apparent large amounts of money. The rightful winner was Kambosos and it was nice to see that the judges ruled the same as what the audience saw. Same with the Usyk and AJ fight.

I came back to rewatch this fight after Kambosos's loss to Lomachenko. Kambosos won this fight because Teofimo fought his fight, a straight up slugfest. This is Kambosos's niche, an all-out war. After this fight, Kambosos switched coaches several times and also switched his boxing style to a more calculated high IQ defensive mojo. This has not benefitted Kambosos because his true style is war, hit and hit back harder for 12 rounds. His style against Haney and Loma was not like him and resulted in losses. So much potential if he would just fight his style, whole heartedly.
Kambosos's right hand in the first round was literally a blur, unbelievable hand speed from both fighters! One of the best entertaining fights since Gatti vs Ward 1 .

We've been very much spoiled this year for incredible fights in boxing and this is another one. Unbelievable performance by both champions especially Kambosos who showed unbelievable resilience and composure under fire. Haney vs Diaz coming up and should be another classic imho. Can't wait.

My heart was pounding hard af for the last two rounds until the decision was read. Everyone was sleeping on George and I knew he would wake everyone up last night.
Great highlights although the 11th round should have been included as it was perhaps the most pivotal. Kambosos showed major composure in the 11th, recovering from the knockdown and then coming back to jab Teo silly and slip many of the bombs coming his way. Completely sealed the deal for him.

Kambosos showed the heart of a champion by getting up in the 10th and recovering. Went on to win the last 2 rounds in my opinion. He knew this was his only chance if he quit. Now he has the boxing worlds respect and shouldn't be taking lightly.

Those explosive trades between the fighters were my favourite moments in the fight aside from the knockdowns. EVERY time Kambosos was hit or rocked, he fired back, and was gladly willing to trade. I’m such a huge fan of him now and would LOVE to see him against the other top lightweights

Teo fought too emotional, underestimated his opponent. Recklessly rushing in instead of smart aggression. Kambosos was very calm and collected, sharp timing and counters too.

Everyone who watches boxing regularly knows the lightweight is the deepest division by far. Keep this in mind in 1 division is sitting Lomachenko, Lopez, Garcia, Haney, Davis, and apparently out of nowhere Kambosos. They're probably hiding another gem in there somewhere too

I cheered for kambosos since he was the underdog because he wasn't known. Round 10 was insane since he stood his ground and didn't panic to much when he almost got knocked out.

Specially if u replay the moment of knockdown in slowmotion (0.25x speed) u can really enjoy the beauty of the technical setup that leads to the knockdown. I mean the way he uses Teos own hand ot camouflage his swinging devastating punch is amazing. Its a hard to master punch

The 250 sparring rounds with Manny really shaped George a lot . Looking at his footwork and his angles it's seems Pacquiao-esque .

I came back to rewatch this fight after Kambosos's loss to Lomachenko. Kambosos won this fight because Teofimo fought his fight, a straight up slugfest. This is Kambosos's niche, an all-out war. After this fight, Kambosos switched coaches several times and also switched his boxing style to a more calculated high IQ defensive mojo. This has not benefitted Kambosos because his true style is war, hit and hit back harder for 12 rounds. His style against Haney and Loma was not like him and resulted in losses. So much potential if he would just fight his style, whole heartedly.
He can take a punch he has to let his hands go n stop playing the counter puncher when he not a accurate counter puncher

This fight was beyond epic. Edge of your seat material. Much respect to Kambosos for winning this fight going backwards 12rds. Teo reminded me far too much of Deontay Wilder. That 1 punch strategy doesn't work with a fighter who is not intimidated by your power and who is prepared to go to war.

Kambosos showed major composure in the 11th, recovering from the knockdown and then coming back to jab Teo silly and slip many of the bombs coming his way. Completely sealed the deal for him.
