@@deaczorz How many years ago was Dreamline launched? All the Fx that have come out in recent years have all been priced around 2 thousand euros and some models have passed this psychological barrier. Dreamline was the last one to be launched costing sub 1 thousand euros.

Okay, now that's what I can confidently call an FX field rifle, it's made to the point and not exposed like a nerve.
In my opinion, it is 100% okay to make compromises when designing an efficient product, well done.
Thank you for the comprehensive look around the new rifle, something I have been waiting for. I feel that a plug for the hole in the stock where the air filling probe goes would be helpful. After a couple of runs through the video I've noticed what appears to be a mix up between the power potential in 25 cal for the 500mm and 600mm barrels. You mentioned the possibility of adding an air bottle the increase the shot count but not how it could be fitted, with a relatively small air capacity, an FAC powered DRS would benefit from this. The ability to upgrade the plenum capacity is another brilliant idea, I could be tempted to switch my 25 cal Crown MK2 for one.
Hi , thx for your interest! The CF tube I talked about is the over the barrel airtube that can be upgraded to CF one increasing the shot count 😉 regarding the power on the 25cal 500 is correct as in the 500mm for that one it comes with a bigger plenum and different valve 💪

I've read about some issues on social media forums with the large capacity magazine supplied with some DRS guns. It does not allow a scope to be fitted whilst the low capacity mag does. Some buyers have only been supplied the large mag and getting a low mag is proving difficult.
As always you always give us the very best videos on fx air rifles very professional and right to the point and no stupid antics it is always a pleasure to watch your videos I was wondering is your son still interested in shooting mine doesn't really care for it anymore but he will shoot with me if I ask thank you for sharing your knowledge with us take care

The pro version is about 6-12 week out buddy. Depending on how fast we can get the MDT chassis

Compared to a standard M3 the DRS 500mm is about 900gr lighter. Video will come once there are available to most people 👊

Withour regulator gauge and external adjustment I am not interested at all. Plus, why don't put the better trigger in from the start? You can keep it.

@@FXAirguns I have a rifle where I must take it apart to adjust and without regulator gauge and the trigger cannot be adjusted low enough as I want it. That irritates me a lot. I am looking for a rifle that is not like that but this DRS is like that. I don't have money to buy a rifle for each different pellet for different purposes I want to shoot, I want one that can do it all. I only have one entry level pcp and want to buy something I like without having the need for something else later on. With DOPE on different pellets or slugs and the riffle settings noted with it, it must be easy and fast to adjust. Not with the DRS so it fell out of my wish list after seeing this video. This was the first FX I was interested in but not anymore. If your concept is going backwards from what we want you can keep it.

It's got an adjustable reg and hammer without removing the stock.
The new Avenge X is $500 dollars and also has a transfer port adjustment and ability to change caliber.
This FX is a bad copy of the Snow Peak M30B.

Can you guys do another video going into depth on the differences between the penulum and the barrel lengths because I don’t understand which one I should buy. I am looking at buying the 700mm pro version with the increase power mag. But I’m not sure if that’s a bit too extreme. In what case would you recommend the 600mm with the penulum high power. Instead of 700mm?
Depends on the ammo you will be using, if you want to use pellets or low weight slugs go with the 500/600. if you want to use mainly slugs of a higher weight go with the 700.

There is a regulator at the front and a hammerspring adjustment at the back

@@dougbreese613 Very soon , the testing with the 500mm and 700mm is completed only the 600mm still and then it will be available. Few weeks before the dealers will have them .
You need to make a video showing the speed of the projectiles, chronographing, shooting at 50 and 100 meters. Very important: does this barrel shoot Slugs?? let's see the accuracy>
It says it comes with the heavy liner so I'm assuming it shoots slugs

I find it really weird you guys went with a M8 gauge. But it is what it is.

If I was to be honest, this is the video left me to ask more questions. My biggest question would be how does the valving work with not only the Plenum sizes but the caliber as well. To put it simply does the .177 get a smaller valve even though it’s a 700 with the bigger Plenum?
We know there is a lot to get through but you 700mm 177 will come with a SHP plenum and heavy impulse valve 🤙
The very big disadvantages is too less shot count per fill. it’s 2024 but FX Technology is yet to improve a lot with so much innovation.
60+ shots at 950fps in .22 is not enough for a 5lb airgun? This is perfect for most shooters.
I replaced the original gauge with a Sekhmet 25 mm with 1/8 BSP. But this does not fit, can someone from FX tell me which thread the original 23 mm FX gauge has? Also not readable in the exploded view.
The original FX gauge deviates by more than 10 bar!!
Hi , are you sure the Sekmeth has the correct threads as we haven’t changed anything on our size when it comes to gauge threads.
@@FXAirguns Are you sure you did not change your own threads?? It seems the thread for the pressure gauge ( cilinder pressure) is M8x1 like the Chinese Snowpeak...airguns. Please confirm the right thread for the DRS gauge on the action.

Is it ok to shoot slugs with the DRS Classic 600 in .25 ? I'm getting lot of mixed info on this, some say you cant just keep it with pellets, others say you can shoot slugs if not to heavy in weight.
You can definitely shoot slugs with the DRS 600. You might want to some of the lighter weight slugs in its category.
The PRO looks like my dream rifle. I don't think a better platform for LR, ELR and PRS shooters can be imagined at this time. Really perfect! But the price??? I believe you will agree that it is really... 😵💫. You can buy a Vudoo or RimX for that money, right?
Really can not understand how the Pro commands that premium. Its well over twice what other versions are.... Im sure MDT and FX have some agreement, so you know FX is NOT paying retail for the chassis. Truly annoyed by this as the DRS Pro is the ONLY gun from FX to make me want one.

@@danhouse7565 The MDT elite ACC chassis is £1800, plus 700 for the rifle plus the upgrades you get with the pro it starts to add up.
Well, the PRO is only slightly more expensive than what you have to pay for the MDT ACC Elite chassis by itself for e.g. a Rem700 footprint action.

Sorry, but that's not true. The ACC Elite chassis costs $1,600. Besides, the PRO model isn't in that chassis at all.

Is the grade 2 version of the walnut stock just a nicer walnut or is there anything else?
Yes it’s a nicer walnut the the standard and it also has the traditional dark colored tip at the front of the stock that the standard doesn’t has
I am interested in one of these in sub 12ft/lbs but there is one concern and that is no protection for the fill hole such as a plug. When I think of the environment conditions I go hunting in the UK muck getting into that fill hole would be a big concern. OK I could put some tape over the hole but a fill plug would be great for peace of mind.

Same thoughts. A small simple cover to cover the hole please it will be safe for any dust or mud/soil
Would you make a barrel with a 1-3 twist barrel? I would love to see the effects on gel with a 1 - 3 twist combined with your FX hybrids!
Are the charts you have on the 3 barrel lengths correct? The short barrel appears to have more FPE than the 600mm does? Why is this?
Hi , they are correct as the 25 cal in 500mm comes with the SHP plenum where the 600mm comes with a HP plenum

I had the chance to pick one up at the British Shooting show,. It's a very nice rifle, if I didnt already have a GRS Dreamline, i would probably get one of these.
I personally don’t like small mag in between the stock and scope rail it’s really bore and not modern design

That's because the other dude (forgot his name) at FX Airguns USA in North Carolina ripped off fx for millions and sad to say it sucks that there completely shut down because of that one dude, so many people lost their jobs im assuming because of him being greedy, now Utah Airguns handles all fx and the warranties
I am pretty sure that Mathias will do this job with a lot of dedication, after all, we Dutch-speaking Belgians are fairly 'down to earth' and without that there is 'show time' that we are really not looking for. Wish you much suc6!

Love the sleek design. Building the plenum around the barrel was genius. A game changing concept for airguns.

The plenum is the thing that looks like a magazine under the stock. The air tank is around the barrel.
For exact pricing you need to look at you local dealership. But they start as low as sub 1K 🤙
You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Snow Peak did this on the M30B in 2017.
When will the 16 round mini mag be availaible? Mine came with the 22 round magazine in 177 and it far too tall for the rifle.

For the 500mm it is 208cc - 600mm is 260cc - 700mm is 307cc . The classic doesn’t come standard in 700 but can be bought as a upgrade if you want .

My Crown is my favorite FX, reliable and accurate, my only issue is I can't shoot the slugs it likes over 900fps.
Hi , glad to hear you’re enjoying the Crown . I assume you are talking about the MKI as this one wasn’t intended to shoot slug .
Mine is a MK2, the only slugs it likes are 33.95 grain, my best speed is 895fps.

Have you checked if the adjustment wheel on the TP gives more FPS at med or low ? Reason for asking is that I had one case where the wheel was pointing High but internally it was actually the Med setting

The one thing that annoys me is holding the match trigger hostage for more money. It seems like a ploy to milk the consumer.
That is not the intention, the match grade trigger isn’t for everyone. A hunter for instance would not be happy with a feather light trigger and adding that trigger straight from factory would raise the price on the DRS classic

It seems full of potential "upgrades" to make you spend more money. No match grade trigger. No reg guage!!!
Just pay $1000 dollars for the basic rifle. Then pay more for what should have been standard equipment.

@@FXAirguns Since this came up again and thinking of it again. - Apart from making the trigger adjustable from very light match trigger to a heavier hunting trigger, if FX lacks the ability to make such a trigger, at least give the customer a choice from the start to choose between standard and match trigger. Again, if you don't want to do that, it is a sign of milking the customer.
@@L.V-Rider Hi , I see your point but eventually the Match trigger simply costs more to make/produce/assemble. Giving the customer from factory the choice between normal or match trigger is simply not possible if we want to get a consistent factory line and output to the customer’s. Therefore it’s listed as an upgrade part.

Nice rifle, the standard 500mm in .22 with the synth stock. But still quite a few comments: 1: Not nice if you can't read the reg pressure. 2: That hammer spring nut is so loose that after three shots it has already come loose a quarter of a turn. 3: No tips yet on how to easily degasse the rifle. 4: Rifles need a good silencer, no garden rifle without them.

Sure hope they separate the economy and pro product lines into distinct brands. Like Toyota and Lexus, etc. Because the thought of FX branded rifles in Walmart next to the Gammos would tarnish the fine name of FX, deserved or not.
The won’t be in big box stores, the Pro version where the whole philosophy is build around is not an economy rifle 😉

500mm in 25cal is up to 73fpe and in 600mm only 63fpe ....how is that? When you guys do fx videos you say that 600m is more powerful....I'll say it's a mistake with the chart shown earlier in the video

I recently purchased the DRS Pro, and whilst I love the rifle, the supplied case is an embarrassment for such an expensive rifle. FX should be embarrassed supplying this case!!!

No way to buy it.With this model FX make downgrade ,not ipgrade: small volume of air,small pressure ( I want 300+ bar) ,small count shoots,no external adjustable regulator and hammer sping...This is a only bad things on this model.
The platform isn’t intended to get you high shotcount and 300bar ( which might be in the future) it isn’t a step back but a very different approach to a airgun creating one that feels and handles like a traditional rifle and big air bottles are not a part of that 😉

Eh….optional pic rail (should be stock) optional gauge that you absolutely need with an adjustable reg should be included as well. Interesting but those 2 aspects alone make me say 🖕FX.
