Never really knew how the plenum worked. So I learnt something new . If I had one of these guns ,I would put the new plenum on just to get the extra shots out of it . It's nice to watch , really enjoy the work you do , Thank you
Does look quite good with the larger plenum installed. Surprised at the extent of the shot count improvement though, makes you wonder about the amount of testing carried out by the manufacturer during development. Unless they want to encourage the purchase of the larger plenum of course??
My mate just bought one with a synthetic stock, he says it's a piece of cake to drill through, which incidentally, is how you install a front rail. I have no idea if he used wood screws, or tapped the holes, or used nut/bolt combo, I can take a look at his gun on Monday if you're interested?
@@toxlaximus3297 Ok, I finally got a chance to get some info. He said the stock is _very_ soft and almost sort of foam-like. What he did was drill a couple of holes and put screws in to cut threads, then he screwed the screws back out, dropped superglue in the holes, and put the screws back in. However, as I would suggest, and he also pointed out, what he should have done was use nuts and bolts, and I'd use a washers on the inside for added stability, apparently it isn't the most solid stock. Hmm, maybe a single piece of 1-2mm steel with two holes would be better. Hope you can use it and sorry for the delay.
@@mace8873 Thanks, it's a very tricky stock to work on but there is always a way, a M-LOK bracket sounds similar to what you describe, maybe use threaded inserts too, once I made a shooting table with a saw-horse and old wardrobe door with threaded inserts, they are very strong, cheers.
Replace the safety grub screw provided in the match trigger with a longer item, at least that’s what I had to do to get match trigger to work in my crowns. They give you an incredibly good trigger with some time spent fine tuning them
I like the look of both to be honest but having a gauge to tune the regulator sounds more fun even if this is not really a tuner airgun (From what I understand on a full power model you would still have enough room to adjust the hammer but you can't remove the stock completely. VERY good to know.)
Hey up mate another great one cheers I own one myself 👍 does the hp power plennum hold a regulater on little plug hole on the bottom do you no or could you tell me thanks. Kallem.
On the large plenum, it looks like there are 3 holes in the top besides the 4 mounting screw holes. There is the large cavity in the center and 2 others that are for and aft the large cavity. what are those 2 holes purpose?
How easy was it to balance the hammer spring and regulator to get to the desired power level/shot count? I’m thinking of buying a DRS and would definitely do this mod for the increased efficiency
nice video - for me, the plenum half the size of the longer one would be interesting...would keep things slicker and as for the gauge...doesn't bother me as I'm a lefty :-) 🙂 would't be able to see it anyway 😛 Doubling the shot count is a very worthwhile mod - and as the plenum's are easy to change you can mix and match as you want to.
Segun fx España el plenum grande solo sirve para atenuar las diferencias de temperatura dentro del plenum mejorando la precisión, es mejor un plenum grande pero no afecta a la potencia.
Hi there I shoot 15.8 pellets and comes out at just over 10flb if I turn the hammer spring will it take me up to 12flb or anything else much appreciated
Do you think you might get the same results regarding shot count if you used the the HP plenum and set it to the 80 bar you have following the steps in the Ernest Row video ua-cam.com/video/LABXuaPG9t4/v-deo.html. It doesn't seem right that you have a regulator but aren't able to set it easily in the sub-12 DRS. At least then you would know exactly what pressure your reg was running at?
Yes i would think so, the drs doesn't need the shp plenum, it needs a bit more than it has in sub 12 so i would think you should end up with about the same amount of shots as fitting the big plenum to a standard drs with 80bar on the reg 👍
Hey my friend i dont mean to bother you but is it possible please to sell me the wheels you made for the Leshyi 2 for the indexing arm, the ones you made are white i think instead of black and i know there better if you made them cause your a genious in my eyes with all this and airguns. I really need it cause mine is bad its not indexing smooth and sometimes not at all. Ide be willing to pay what ever youd like my friend. I do live in the U.S in Pennsylvania and will pay for shipping and everything. And if you have other things for the Leshyi 2 you made i would appreciate if you could sell me any of that also cause i know its all better and will perform better. I have the Leshyi 2 in 30 caliber FAC. Ijust got it and cant even shoot a full mag with out it indexing every time, will you please help me and get back to me to let me know. Interesting how a larger plenum actually helps with the sub12 version of the FX DRS .... Thanks for posting the video 👍
thanks for watching 😁
this is why i bought the Drs! excellent video buddy, many thanks.
thanks for watching 👍
Thanks for sharing the video, learning alot from going back through your older videos 😊

Great looking rifle and fantastic results on the shot count👍🏼
thanks for watching 😁

that could be a factor but i think manufactures are just choking the guns now no matter what the cost in shot count and performance
Sub 12 guns are an after thought for fx probably didn’t do much testing to optimise it
Hello, how did you attach that weaver rail on the stock?
@orcener see previous video
Does the smaller hp plenum allow fitting of reg test gauge? On sub 12 how do we test reg pressure?
Another great vid. Thanks for sharing.
Excellent as usual, I would like to know how you installed your front rail and how tricky it is to drill that lightweight stock.

@@toxlaximus3297 Yeah, I guess an M-LOK is sort of similar, in that you mount your Picatinny onto another rail.
Nice one Jeff love this videos

Could you drill the original block to give a little more volume to the plenum, or do you think you would not gain enough to be worth while.
Yes you could get a little more like that and it would help for sure

that works on the crown but not the DRS unfortunately 😥 thanks for watching 😁
A question, my friend, are the side pressure gauge and its bolts the same ones used for the M3?
Why do they say the gauge bolts are shorter for this plenum?
thanks for watching 👍 Yes same bolts
@@sub12airgunners Thank you very much my friend 🫂

@sub12airgunners I am having issues with mine and I definitely wished it had one.
How do you adjust the regulator
Hey up mate another great one cheers I own one myself 👍 does the hp power plennum hold a regulater on little plug hole on the bottom do you no or could you tell me thanks. Kallem.
Take that as you don’t no thanks anyway
no the reg stays in the gun the plug is just for machining 😀

it's not to bad to honest
can you buy the large plenum without a licence? seems abit dangerous?
The angled manomiter gauge I was on about for Dreamline tact would look so much better on dreamlines I think I put this idea to you phew weeks ago
Was the gun 177 or 22
.177 😁

First thing that I thought: Just mill out the stock blanking block. I suppose that magazine look a like thingy is more for looks than anything else.

Nice any vids coming on the Gp
yes we will be doing a few 😀thanks for watching 😁
Will you be doing any videos on tuning the AGT Vixen? 😊
Don't think it needs to be made better, that's why no vids
@memememe2674 must say I love mine, and with the 3x12 Arken Zulus sat on top, it's a great bit of kit ,56y head shots on corvids
The screws that were supplied with angle gauge bracket were .050” to long. I had to shorten them to get the bracket to seat on the plenum.
Can you make a Slug Power Kit FX installation video for DRS (I couldn't find any installation video for DRS)

Instead of taking gauge off before fitting to stock couldn’t you fit new plenum with gauge on while still on stock

Sweet!

Looks stupid with the big plenum and looks easy to knock.
It was always going in a chassis so not to worried about knocking it
What about fabricating a larger plenum? Would that equate to a tighter group / more shots?
