Absolutely! I got the chance to tell him in person how much I love his voice! The HamiltonCHI cast is my cast! Miguel IS my A.Ham! He will be A.Ham once it opens again on Broadway.
I saw him closing weekend in Chicago. Truly life changing. His voice is amazing and after watching Chris Jackson on Disney plus I prefer Tamar. He’s amazing.
I saw them live back in 2018. The chemistry they had on stage performing these roles was amazing. This song in particular moved me to tears since I hadn't heard it before seeing the show.
I'm glad you watched to the end where the trains are! If you look at the other comment, someone wasn't happy that this wasn't a train video. Oops! The El shots didn't come out as well as I had hoped. If I wasn't juggling an umbrella and the camera/tripod, I think I would have been able to extend the tripod a little higher (on the wall) and gotten better shots. I have other similar day time footage from a few years ago. I'll make a compilation soon. When I say soon, I mean 1-3 years!! lol. I have so much footage that needs editing!
I know the slogan of the show is something like, "The Story Of America Then, Told by America now." But I am honestly pleasantly surprised that the cast is really so diverse as it is, meaning that they did not try to recreate the original cast, in terms of looks and ethnicities, like how this Alex did not seem to be Latino like Lin. I appreciate that it does seem to be all about the talent at the "Hamilton" company.
Miguel Cervantes is of Mexican heritage but, to your point, plenty of different actors of different backgrounds have played A. Ham, including Javier Muñoz and Jamael Westman.
Interesting how quickly rain can empty an 'audience filled' park. Cool footage at the end of the video, Luke. Nice to see a different part of you, slightly out of the ordinary.
Listened to the OST hundreds of times. This is the first time a different cast hasn't sounded strange to me - this was outstanding.
Sameeeeee. He’s on broadway as Hamilton now and I’m going to see him soon
@@its_gracexxx He's a way better hamilton than lin-manuel IMO!!
Tamar Greene as Washington is outstanding. Absolutely loved his performance!
Saw Tamar as Washington on Broadway last week and I am SPEECHLESS!!!
Its probably because I saw it live in Chicago first, but I prefer Tamar Greene as Washington. God his voice just fills the entire venue
I’ve only seen it in Chicago but I watched most of it on Disney last night. Tamar Greene has an amazing voice!
I couldn't agree with you more l saw the New York Hamilton and the Chicago casts performance is top notch. Mr. Greene is amazing as Washington!!!
I have seen hamilton live 8 times in both Chicago and NYC, and I can say unequivocally that Greene is the best Washington.
Seen him 3 times. Miguel and Tamar my favorites after Lin and Chris!

i got to see him twice as washington before chicago closed. he was amazing in both of the performances i’ve seen, and one of my favorite washingtons!
And now he's in NYC! Super excited to see him join the other powerhouses when BWay opens back up
he's my favorite Washington ever. he really has a way with the audience.

The unexpected rain did not drench your passion on trains, leaving us the valuable rainy L-train capture. ;-)

@@Luke_Starkenburg You've tried your best!
Stand up people! This was an outstanding peformance!
Hell YES. Oof. That ending is just ❤️😭
Incredible

That of course is intentional and maybe is one of the reasons why the show has become a huge success.
@@Luke_Starkenburg Yes agreed. This Washington is SO GOOD!

Miguel Cervantes is so good. I'd prefer him over Lin.
They need to put a CD out with him. I was so disappointed after seeing it live in Chicago and then listening to the CD
I agree completely!!! My husband and I just saw the NYC show last week and Miguel blew me away. I want to listen to him, not Lin Manuel.
I was here, this was cool
We were there! 4th row!!
I would have loved to be so close up!

Karin Junker I’ve posted some musical stuff before, maybe one a year! I don’t have enough content to start a new channel. Thanks.
Is Washington really tall or is Hamilton really small?
Yes
Yes
Before I opened the replies to this I said “yes”. I was not disappointed.
I was at the Chicago show and he was the shortest person in the show( Eliza was as tall as him )
Miguel Cervantes (Hamilton) was the shortest person when I saw Hamilton in Chicago. Tamar Greene (Washington) was one of the tallest.
Best. Washington. Ever.
Wow this was a week ago AND MY SISTER AND I MISSED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!😐😡🤬
Ishmeet Bains it rained in the beginning and at the very end, but thankfully it was dry during most of the singing! It was a good show.
Tamar Greene is the best Washington, don't fight me
TAMAR GREENE IS A PERFECT WASHINGTON but Hamilton Can never too Lin’s
N O T - A -T R A I N
Cromulent Commodore skip to 5:57 for the trains. I got some cool El shots in downtown Chicago.
@@Luke_Starkenburg yeah,ok. but now you tube thinks i want to see Lyn Manuel Maranda stuff. and i super dont.
