- This is episode 7 of The Quilt-as-you-go Chronicles; in the next ten episodes, we will make a mystery quilt-as-you-go quilt called I, Valentine. Each week we will construct a section of the quilt and show you lots of tips and techniques, as well as delving into all things quilt as you go and sewing. In this series, you will learn how to machine applique, free-motion quilt, and quilt on a home sewing machine. Also, you will discover two great methods for quilt as you go and see how we make an entire quilt from start to finish on our domestic sewing machine. You can sew along with the Pattern Poole community and us; all you need to do is head to our website and purchase the course to have the PDF patterns emailed to you weekly.
Today we are doing a show and tell of course participant's work! We hope you enjoy it!
Please don't forget to share our work and subscribe to our channel so we can keep growing and make the beautiful art of quilting and sewing accessible to anyone who wants to learn!

Beautiful ...especially Terri O'Donnell's What an artist!
Thank you for sharing these gorgeous colors and their varieties! Such fabulous talented ladies!💕💕💕🧵
Beautiful work done from all. My favourite would be the blue birds done up to look like barn swallows. Thanks for sharing everyone’s work of art. 👍❤️😊
Thank You for sharing theses beautiful quilts. I love them all, I can only aspire, to one day be able to quilt like any of these quilts shown. I love watching your videos and learning about all of the quilts that you present. Watching to see how the rest of this quilt turns out.
These are all so beautiful. The grey background elicited an emotional reaction. They are all so well done. The dark ones pop. Love it.
Thank you! Yes, the course participants have all made beautiful work ❤️
Look what you both have started.
So many people love your pattern's.
They have added their own bit of "flare" to their quilt's.
I love it when we all express our own unique touches, in a personal way, in life.
Now that's true "ART". ✝️💌👍🕊️🥰❤️
Thank you so much for your beautiful message ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
These patterns are beautiful, no matter what colors have been used. I love those personal changes also.
Wow! Those are beautiful. The grey background was so easy on my eyes, I had an emotional reaction to it. They are all so different and very well done.
Once again I am loving this journey. I am working on my 4th(Island Home) and 5th quilt (I, Valentine) with you and hope to have them finished this year! Just loved seeing all these quilts, aren’t we all clever? Well done everyone.
Thank you for your kind comments on my work. I want my quilt to be the same way up, not medallion style, so watch out for my side panels. I'm going rogue! Love you "girls" ❤❤
Great to see some of the participants quilts. I chose fabric colours resembling the pattern and a cream background. I was worried that the pale birds would not stand out enough on a light background. I haven't even started it yet but having seen the dark backgrounds on some quilts I think I may do that too, so I'm happy to have seen some examples. Those looked great. I am also hoping to use the quilt as you go method to finish some other applique quilts later so I'm keen to see the joining methods when you get there.
Love to see the ideas of everybody. Very inspiring
