For real though. Everyone is able to harmonize so well that the only one I'm able to hear 100% of the time is Ashley, but that's just because she's the only girl.

Fun fact: he wrote this hundreds of years ago while having a bit of fun sailing on a ship. He just had to adjust it a bit so it was in English and more plot relevant.

I would love for Tal to be a bard in campaign 3 especially since it means we'd get to hear him sing all the time.
@@lyra981 It wouldnt surprise me if Taliesin's version of a bard would be completly different though. I dont know how or what, but I do love the idea of a goth bard with some sort of twist on the spellcasting.

Also this is SUCH a good Uk'otoa design, it's the very perfect balance between Matt's description of a serpent and the fanon that there's just tentacles everywhere somehow, lol. Can we please have an entire album of Exandrian shanties and tavern songs? I love this one! There are so many in-game and out-of-game plotlines that would make excellent and haunting music, like Caleb's tale of the three empire children, and Caduceus' legend of a playful kenku spirit calling out to travelers in the woods. Granted, these two instances would likely be ballads or lullabies, but they would still be fun to hear.

Among the many things that make CR great, I love how I get to enjoy Ashley Johnson and Taliesin Jaffe’s singing.
I love the idea that this song is started by the Mighty Nein as a sort of cautionary fairy tale surrounding Uk'otoa, after taking care of the final key, to warn people not to take the serpent's deals
Can’t wait for there to be a conclusion to the Uk’otoa mystery
There won't be one probably. It's been a while since they started to talk about this arc as the last one of the campaign. It might be an open thread for future campaigns

I always thought of a crew of a long dead crew singing this song to the M9 as they explored the underwater wreckage of a ship while looking for temple of uk’otoa, especially the whispers they just give off the vibe of a ghost crew warning adventurers of the dangers ahead in the only way they can, sea shanties

This is chilling and beaultiful, now i want a bass-baritone rendition of this masterpiece with a huge brass instruments and organ assembly, to give me that dayvey jones locket vibe from pirates of the caribbean
I've gone ahead and given this a shot. I don't have any brass, but I have an organ setting on my piano, and I'm a bass. I've figured out parts that will work for that type of arrangement and will be recording them in the coming days. I've never done audio editing before, though, so it will be a little while before I've completed it. If I succeed in the editing process, I will post the link here when it is done. If I fail in the editing process, I will post that update so as not to leave anyone hanging.
Edit: It is nearly complete now, with just a few finishing touches to put on it. Only a couple days now!

@@rogerjohnson2793 Its not that bad but its not amazing. Its pretty monotone throughout and there's no chorus. I get its sung by the cast but it would of been better if it was sung in one voice or if like travis did it with a deeper voice and ashley sang a higher part. Something like Fjord and Avantika singing different parts. As is, its ok. Ginny D's sea shanty is far better for instance. Most likely in a month or less, they'll be a much better version of it.
