I just wanted to say that after watching a few episodes of Matthew Mercer's campaigns, I played a game of Heroscape for the first time with my 6yo and he loved it. My older children were not that interested in it because I realized I had made it a very boring game. By injecting creative narration into the battles and campaigns inspired by Mercer, we both had an amazing time. Thank you!

Started when Felicia sold the company and then they began doing Project Alpha, their subscription-based content service, and everybody started disliking them because of it (and what was on there sucked, so wasn't worth paying for). Wheaton left, other good shows were cancelled. CR was the only good thing left, and when they formed their own company G&S just stopped becoming all that relevant. Their old content is still up and good to watch, but the rest is kinda meh in my opinion.

Agreed, it is the best mechanic that this game got going on. The card play, action/card economy, seems a bit odd and weak. But I might just be confused on the actual rules there.
Giggles aside, at the end of the day, Travis won the last game. Laura was really happy to win the round thanks to him. Seeing your partner's face light up like that is the true victory.
