I have 5 party members in the high 70s but everyone else is high 50s, low 60s.
if you still need tips personally I've been farming the Painful Past + variant of Hyodo boss fight (Sapporo Jail) as she's the easiest for me to defeat, and gives 15K EXP everytime you defeat her. Spoiler warning: There’s a request called “Painful Past: Demiurge” and “Painful Past+: Demiurge.” Do I need to complete them both to unlock the Reaper boss fight?
@BENJAMIN GOLABEK really? I just completed only the + version a few minutes ago without doing the normal difficulty request, and that worked just fine. Thanks though!
Is it possible to make 2 ng+ files from a single save? Mainly so I could have one to complete compendium and bond on and one to get the ng+ risky trophy. If not then it's not too much of an issue since I can make a backup before making the merciless save then restore once I have the trophy.
EVERYTHING. And I mean EVERYTHING carries over lol. Money Levels Skills Personas Items Stats Equipment everything. Only thing that doesn’t carry over are the personas in your inventory (you just have to buy them again from the compendium no biggie!) and requests completed (you have to redo all the requests again lol).
I dont plan to do merciless but one question, i heard defeating all the dire shadows was required as well to unlock new game+, i am at the lab jail and just beating the second one was hard enough (just on normal too, ouch), is this true or did whoever said that confuse the dire shadows with the quest locked ones you mention in the video? also, is a 99% compendium needed for the extra persona that is unlocked after triggering new game+ ? (hope hes not locked to merciless as i wont be able to even attempt that for quite some time as im not nearly skilled enough), just wanna know so i grind the missing personas first before i do a new game+ since id have to work my way back to where i can leech treasure demons again since thats what ive been doing to grind pretty much everything i need other than this id like to know if you have to beat the reaper on subsequent runs or if the new game+ option stays unlocked. I tried to find this stuff out on google while avoiding endgame spoilers (im probably close to halfway through atm) but it wasnt any good. Sorry for long message but had these questions google just wouldnt help me with
The only requirements are the ones I listed in the video. The Dire Shadows are only necessary if you want to fuse that last Persona on NG+ since you need to defeat them to unlock the ability to fuse Persona needed in it's fusion -- speaking of which, 99% compendium isn't a requirement for the final Persona; being on NG+ is the only requirement but you will of course need to be able to fuse it's ingredients, hence the Dire Shadows. As for whether or not NG+ is unlocked permanently, I assume you mean if you were to unlock it and then start a fresh run? In which case, I don't know.
@@RozalinGaming no i meant unlocking it and then selecting it, does it stay unlocked for that same save or do you need to go through all this again? It probably wouldnt be that bad the second time around but i am still wondering (i didnt mean do it and choose new game on the title screen ,sorry for that)
@@orochimarusrebirth6509 If you're worried about Dire Shadows and the Reaper, I have videos going over how to make max stat Persona and build guides for all the Persona I used for Merciless; if you took those into a non-Merciless run the game would be a breeze for you.
How am I best off to level? I've beat the game and am 73 now but want to be able to start building some really fun demons but don't know a good way to level other than just rematching the bosses ad infinitum
For me, retreading Kyoto and Osaka Jails, whilst interspersing those with Boss rematches and redoing other requests was a really great way of passing the time, increasing my Yen, and passively increasing Joker's level. If you still have BOND points available, try investing them into the skill which increases the spawn rate of Treasure Demons, so then you'll _really_ be raking in the money and EXP. All I can say is to go about levelling in a way that's the least grindy way you prefer, or at least make the grinding less tedious. For me, I just activated NG+ on Merciless and got my ass handed to me, even with Lv. 90 Metatron, at the tutorial. I'd say to use your time to hone your existing combat skills so you can get better at dodging enemy attacks and conserving SP. Because, boy, you're gonna need it!
In merciless mode is it easier to get bond points or is it better to fight Metatron over and over again? I am level 70 but it is very annoying to reach level 99 for the trophy...
I would do the Metatron battle until Joker is 99 and you've made your Persona loadout for Merciless and then go straight there. You'll get more Bond by going through the story again and fighting Dire Shadows on Merciless than you will doing Metatron over and over.
@@RozalinGaming or when you beat the game and load your save does is put you before the final boss and can you go back to the palaces you already completed?
@@imapizza4095 It puts you at your last save only you will now have new requests. You can then go about doing what's needed to unlock NG+. As soon as you beat the Reaper, that save will be flagged as "Master" and that's the save you load to start NG+.

@@SilentAndy I love the game and it’s mechanics (might I point you to “SLIGHTLY DISAPPOINTED” in my previous statement), the Ng+ just kinda seems barren to me. There’s nothing to do other than play through the story again on a higher difficulty, which if it’s for you and you love a difficult challenge, then congratulations, I am genuinely happy for you. What drove me to replay the previous persona games on Ng+ was the social links and the super secret velvet room boss. Since there are no social links in this game, I thought: “I hope there’s a super secret boss in the game, like Lavenza or something”! But when I scoured the internet for answers and I found out that all that was added to Ng+ is a harder difficulty and a new persona to fuse, I was SLIGHTLY disappointed. This is how I'm leveling up: begin by switching to easy difficulty (you're prepping for new game+, so u want to save up your sp/hp items. Plus, it'll make your xp farming easier). Next, just farm the reaper non stop. If you DON'T have the reaper, that means you haven't done lavenza requests for the hidden personas and you should definitely do those. You'll want them for risky difficulty, each time u kill reaper you get 25k xp and 95k yen. The strat I use is take ann and mona and proc burn on him then use morgana to do technical attacks. If he runs out of sp don't use a sp item (remember, you're saving them) use joker (but u really shouldn't need him, mona always finishes him off b4 running out of sp). When u return, buy all ingredients and sp items from Sophia's store. Rinse, repeat, and you'll be level 99 in about an hour and a half with a shit ton of money, ingredients, and sp items. Do your fushions, level your personas, and go to risky. Its REALLY fun Edit: one more thing, figure I should bring this up: after you proc burn with ann and swap to mona for technical attacks. Just hold down the summon persona button and spam it. Don't give reaper an opportunity to move, I don't see a lot of people do this. Also, you're using technical attacks because reaper has no weakness, so the only way to break his armor for an all out attack is through technical attacks.
@@crow3274i get what u mean by that, I find the grind to 99 boring and just wanted it out of the way for risky mode. I figured I'd give the guy my response since he also wants to level quickly.

Best to save your NG+ on a fresh file, especially if you start Merciless
@@SkittlesInYourHand Thank you!
Here is a question I have for you do you get to keep new gameplus mode as many times as you can? I beat the game on easy mode on switch version but I'm confused if you have to beat the repear or what ever that boss is spelled i was confused when I watched speed runs of the game cause people was like level 99 and got everything to max so I'm not so sure if you have to keep beatin that boss to unlock or or does the save file stay mastered as you beat it in NG+?
I'm not sure about needing to beat the Reaper on NG+ to be able to do another NG+ with the new save file since I've always just beaten the Reaper anyways. What I can say is that after you make a new save on NG+ it looses the "Master" flag on it.
@@RozalinGaming yeah got that down when i did star the NG+ file and I was just confused if you get the master flag after you beat the game in NG+ to do the game again is all lol. Cause I was wondering if it was like regular persona 5 if you get to keep NG+ anytime after it well it's a good thin I keep my regular main save and a alt save just in case is all.
So if it's easy to max your personas stats before new game plus what is the point of incense from risky?
max out the other phantom thieves' stats. they cant just use fusion loops, so it'll be way harder
So i can do all the requests after i beat the final boss?
You should be able to. The only missable requests I know of aren't needed to unlock NG+.
I beat the final boss multiple times, but I can’t find the requests that I need to do to unlock ng+. Right now I’m stuck at the save before the final boss. Am I still able to do the Lavenza requests and if so, what are they? Please help :(
When you beat the game and get through the credits, it should ask you to save. Once you save, you should be able to load the save and check the requests.
@@greasychickenugget4410 I’ve been doing that but I can’t manage to find the request that you guys are talking about.
@@swooshwoi1370 OK so, what are the new requests names? Can you tell me?
this game is so fun, I finished my first run with 30 hours and I'm on new game+ now, I won't be attempting merciless/risky until my party is all 99.
surprisingly, the reaper was easy for me, I used Abaddon and spammed curse and almighty. That strat won't work on risky though I know that for sure.
I was wondering, is there any good exp farms in the game or no? I have 5 party members in the high 70s but everyone else is high 50s, low 60s.
if you still need tips
personally I've been farming the Painful Past + variant of Hyodo boss fight (Sapporo Jail) as she's the easiest for me to defeat, and gives 15K EXP everytime you defeat her.
I also reccomend just farming the last two dungeons if you're having a hard time with my reccomendation
also if you're just farming, turn the difficulty down to easy, saves you a lot of time👍
The reaper was surprisingly easy for me as well, Futaba did come in clutch at one point though when she gave my entire party showtime.
@@yourtsar824 Any advice on how to farm PP points for persona fusions??
@@b-41subject57 There's a youtuber named Rozalin that made a video on creating max stat persona fusions and if you follow his persona fusion loop or create your own you can net huge amounts of PP. Okay, so how to encounter reaper in Okinawa jail end of the road? I already defeat all Dire shadow except from tree of Knowledge (tuz it's only avaiable on NG+), And finish laveza's mini Bosses but still can't trigger Reaper shadow. Got any leads?
Kinda disappointed how much there is to unlocking NG+. I like the extra content, but they could've rolled reaper and harder boss fights into NG+

I have some of them at lv 14 but for lv 15 they are locked
Theirs a locating desire quest for the jail in the abyss in late game for the top row
Does incense carry over, I've been saving them my entire play through and don't want to lose them before starting a NG+
@MultiKratos300 they do but you do get to buy them in NG+
Question when you mean the 7 persona fusions do you mean the prison mail quest
I just unlocked new game plus in strikers, but how do I make a new game plus save file??
You just play the save file that you unlocked new game plus on
I though for a second you can get new game plus mode, by beating the game in order to get new game plus to play the game again with things
You collected for your first playthrough from the times, I heard that persona 5 strikers games is getting new game plus mode when I didn't got that game yet.
Unlike most games with a NG+, in P5S it must be unlocked first.

There’s a request called “Painful Past: Demiurge” and “Painful Past+: Demiurge.” Do I need to complete them both to unlock the Reaper boss fight?
@BENJAMIN GOLABEK really? I just completed only the + version a few minutes ago without doing the normal difficulty request, and that worked just fine. Thanks though!
@BENJAMIN GOLABEK thanks!
Is it possible to make 2 ng+ files from a single save? Mainly so I could have one to complete compendium and bond on and one to get the ng+ risky trophy.
If not then it's not too much of an issue since I can make a backup before making the merciless save then restore once I have the trophy.
yes
I just want to play with the crews awakened personas.
I have a question, do the Master Arts for each character transfer over to a NG+ save file or no?
Yes. Pretty much everything transfers.
How i Founder the New game Plus
The only problem I had was with mariko painful past
I dont plan to do merciless but one question, i heard defeating all the dire shadows was required as well to unlock new game+, i am at the lab jail and just beating the second one was hard enough (just on normal too, ouch), is this true or did whoever said that confuse the dire shadows with the quest locked ones you mention in the video? also, is a 99% compendium needed for the extra persona that is unlocked after triggering new game+ ? (hope hes not locked to merciless as i wont be able to even attempt that for quite some time as im not nearly skilled enough), just wanna know so i grind the missing personas first before i do a new game+ since id have to work my way back to where i can leech treasure demons again since thats what ive been doing to grind pretty much everything i need
other than this id like to know if you have to beat the reaper on subsequent runs or if the new game+ option stays unlocked.
It probably wouldnt be that bad the second time around but i am still wondering (i didnt mean do it and choose new game on the title screen ,sorry for that)
@@orochimarusrebirth6509 No clue. On my Merciless run I beat the Reaper again since the fight is significantly different.
@@RozalinGaming urf ok, got it. Thanks though
@@orochimarusrebirth6509 If you're worried about Dire Shadows and the Reaper, I have videos going over how to make max stat Persona and build guides for all the Persona I used for Merciless; if you took those into a non-Merciless run the game would be a breeze for you.
how do you start new game plus i did new game but i dont know if its new game plus
After you've beaten the Reaper go to load your save file flagged as "Master" and it will ask you if you want to start NG+.
How do I start new game plus
In merciless mode is it easier to get bond points or is it better to fight Metatron over and over again? I am level 70 but it is very annoying to reach level 99 for the trophy...
I would do the Metatron battle until Joker is 99 and you've made your Persona loadout for Merciless and then go straight there. You'll get more Bond by going through the story again and fighting Dire Shadows on Merciless than you will doing Metatron over and over.
@@RozalinGaming I'll start in merciless then,thanks
It said that in Merciless mode battle rewards are greatly increased so you'll get more Exp, Bond Points, and more
Wait so if I completed the game and don't unlock NG Plus do I have to start the whole game again?
Yeah.
@@RozalinGaming so if i beated the game and didnt do any request of the required ones, can i still do them after i beated the game
Jesus so i gotta grind my ass all the way back to Okinawa just to get ng+.... like i thought the whole point of ng+ modes was to keep people engaged with enough new content to warrent a second playthrough. I dont want to spend another 40hrs grinding the same shit just to see if ng+ is worth it. Especailly since there is barley any diffrence in the responses to your dialogue choices and only one ending.
Do you need to fuse the personas you unlock with the requests ?

I kinda want to buy this game for the switch. but I got persona 5 royal in the PS4. with strikers does any special DLC or content carry over if you have a save file of royal??? if not imma just totally going to buy it for the switch. thanks!
Yes, it gives you extra content if you have a save of P5R and P5. So yeah, I suggest you to buy it for PS4. Plus better graphics and fps.
If you do want to buy it on Switch you'll get the same bonus content if you have Smash Ultimate save data on your switch. The content itself isn't terribly important either (I'm assuming you don't want to know ahead of time so I won't say) as it's not something like items or equipment you couldn't get otherwise

I say they should have put the reaper in Ng+ instead of making him the gatekeeper to Ng+.
@@SilentAndy Whats so great about a game that only unlocks new game plus after your grind your ass off for it? It should be there once you beat the game period. No wonder, it doesn't get mentioned anywhere people simply move on if they find out they need to do all that sh*t for that.
Where can I lv up fast after the final boss
Just grind the last jail
I’d say dire shadows if you didn’t fight them all yet. Also, grinding the tree of knowledge and jail of the abyss too...
Its REALLY fun
Edit: one more thing, figure I should bring this up: after you proc burn with ann and swap to mona for technical attacks. Just hold down the summon persona button and spam it. Don't give reaper an opportunity to move, I don't see a lot of people do this. Also, you're using technical attacks because reaper has no weakness, so the only way to break his armor for an all out attack is through technical attacks.
@@Jo-go8uj bruh what’s fun about taking the easy way out?
