@sodium cat Pin this if you’d like. I was on the same floor as you and couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t getting as much money as you with all these steps. What I figured out is you ALSO want to have Hifumi at confidant rank 7 as it doubles ambush money if you win in the first turn which does work with Ryujis insta kill.
Some Guy That would be kind of cool. Like, you skip having to do the palace and stuff because you somehow got 3 million yen. It would change the story a lot, though.
Peppino Touchdown well actually nah lol, if you pay close attention to the story it mentions kaneshiro would just keep demanding more and more from the people he used for cash
UA-cam Wanderer Always wanted to loan Sojiro money to improve his business, or Kawakami so that she can hand money to that POS couple who kept demanding money from her.
During Kaneshiro’s palace I just fought high pixie over and over demanding money everytime while the high pixie just kept healing itself over and over so I would get 50k everytime I killed it
I used kin-ki and sui-ki. Told them to give me money to many times and they would call in a buddy. Kill one, knock down the other, rinse and repeat. Got 30K before I got bored and killed them.
I did this but in futabas palace with a lamia and an anzu. Kept demanding money and they keep calling their friends so it was just repeating and by the end of it i earned 219k lol
Thajnks toi this change, Ryuji's skill went from being the most intrusive thing to the most useful, and Mementos went from the most inconvenient grind spot to the absolute best. It's such a simple thing, but the effects are staggering to me. Well then, I'm off to commit vehicular shadeslaughter.
Agreed, I hated insta-kill in vanilla since I got it a little late and I kept killing high leveled personas I could have just fought normally. Plus you didn't get any money or exp for it which sucked even more since you get more exp from palaces. I'm so glad they made the skill and momentos better because it was annoying having to grind for hours before
How to be a millionaire to pay off a probation: Step 1: collect enough stamps to max out money stat in mementos Step 2: Bond with your friend so he can somehow one man punch any enemy he is stronger than Step 3: Wear a cosmetic that makes enemies give up more cash Step 4: Git gud at shogi to earn more money Step 5: Talk to a fortune teller about money If you followed steps one through five you will be able to pay off the police and possibly pay back kaneshiro if you can’t be bothered with his palace
Update: Just found out it was changed from ambushing the enemy to charging at them full speed whilst in the mona car I've ranked ryuji to 7 but I still end up in battles
So to simplify and correct me in the replies if I'm wrong -Have Ryuji insta-kill -Have Jose's Money Tree maxed out (or at a high level in general) -Ambush all enemies, leave and come back to respawn them -Profit -(Optional: Have Chihaya boost x2 money)
Only thing is you actually sprint into the enemies, holding R2 to trigger the instant kill. Ambushing takes you into a battle no matter what. You do have to press X to ambush Treasure Demons, however.

I actually discovered this on accident AFTER trying the confuse trick. Never actually did said trick in my OG P5 run but had heard about it, so I didn't even really properly prepare (just kinda pulled out the aborted chicken fetus Persona (or maybe the skinny doggo persona) because it naturally had the confuse skill, and then yote since I also wanted to level Arsene with my party. Noticed something was wrong with the strat when the bosses weren't staying confused, kinda got tilted and decided to ram weak monsters because fuck them, only to realize I was making bank by doing so. If someone finds a better strat than this one, I'll be surprised.
There is a book in the old man's book store that extends status ailments I believe. As for how I made money a lot in the game was a few different ways. First raise the sun confidant like normal, meet any persona weak to gun... kill the rest of it's team. Then use it's weakness, and ask for money till it gets angry. It will start combat again sometimes summoning it's ally again. Often times it'll be a similar persona they summon to fight. Since bullets are not an issue, this gives you an easy money farm early on if you're struggling. Pixie, High Pixie, and Anzu are examples of the ones weak to gun I farmed. As for late game, I maxed out Ryuji's confidant as he gives you a move called "instant kill" this makes any enemies that appear green in your third eye ability killable just by running into them. This works during palaces and mementos. I am unsure if this stacks the stamps from mementos as I have that at 200% bonus myself. If you'd like to fight normally rather then instant kill, you can just ambush them like normal. So instant kill doesn't screw you over entirely like it did in the previous version of this game.
I remember during the Christmas scene, Futaba was complaining about wanting a turkey, while Sojiro said they didn’t have the money, and my Joker was sitting on 1.5 million yen 😂
The new Deviations you can get in Mementos on Royal are super useful too. The one that makes all the enemies the glowing red variety really helps with getting money and xp super fast, just gotta be patient enough to try and get a floor with it since its all RNG for the Deviations.
In the third sememster, I got a floor like that while I was stamp hunting in the last area of Mementos. I was like "Welp, I live here now, at least until I hit level 99." I didn't time it, but I'm pretty sure I got from 90-ish to 99 inside 15 minutes, and earned about 2mil yen doing it. And this was without EXP or Money accessories (I didn't download the free DLC for my first playthrough), or Chihaya's reading. Reaper showed up about 2/3rds through my farm, but I already knew I could take him at that point, having had beaten one earlier.
How does that work? Is it just normal enemies, but their exp and money values are boosted? Are they just replaced with whatever level enemies would be red at your current level?
@@Some__Guy Its dependant on the zone of Mementos you're in what level they are. You wanna have Ryuji's insta kill and preferably 200% xp boost through José. Then just hope you get a deviation with the glowing red enemies on a floor where you can instakill them. The glowing red does mean you get more xp and money. If Reaper shows, just jump onto the platform and get back in Mona to reset his position. Just rinse and repeat that for level 99 Hope this helps!
@@Some__Guy It spawns nothing but whatever the elite enemies (with the red flames coming off) are for the current floor, which is usually a miniboss-type enemy. These'll tend to be enemies like Shiki-ouji, with Phys immunity, no weaknesses, and/or just lots of HP. If you're high enough level, these red-flaming elite enemies can still get a green outline with Thief's Eye, meaning they can be instakilled.
Forgot to talk about Hifumi, but also cause I don't know if it affects since you don't actually go into battle and the wording for Narikin states extra if you beat the battle in one turn after an ambush. I gotta test this in another save whether her passive impacts it.
@@thesodiumcat I've tried it myself and it seems you need to actually go into battle and win on the first turn, the chariot ability doesn't count. Chihaya's money reading also doesn't help this because you aren't winning with an all-out attack, although I think overall you make a bit more money for time spent using money reading and Narikin.
i found a good infinite money strat that you can perform in kaneshiros palace what you'll need is the sun confidants fund raising perk. there's a certain set of enemies that spawn in the first hall of kaneshiros bank which are neko and highpixie (one of each) you can kill neko but keep the high pixie alive. use your bullets to down the high pixie then demand money until she refuses and fights you again once she does that she may either spawn another neko or use a heal on herself or use dormina on your team. repeat the process of downing her and demanding money till you run out of bullets on all your teammates then find another neko, high pixie duo and then do it all again. this strat uses very little sp (only 4 for zio to knock down neko) and is highly effective i got over 100k doing this in one battle and i was still able to beat the palace in one day since i barely used any sp.
Love the new method. I did the confuse farming on kawakami's request in mementos and I gained almost 2 million yen in an hour, but this seems more efficient in the long haul
@@nyarlathotep-thecrawlingch6335 you get an award for killing him 5 times all it gives is some points to use in the den and a trophy on the wall to look at.
I wonder if this is a way to make momentos more fun or more worth your time than the original..either way I think it's better. Thanks for the info! Subbed.
I enjoyed the changes in Mementos. I did feel like it makes Mementos feel more alive and to make the descend less tedious. I'm hoping it's also Atlus taking notes and ideas to see how they can do similar changes to Tartarus when P3 is decided to be re-released.
Theres an easy way i found that nobody's talking about. Unlock the fundraising skill from Yoshida. Go and find enemies who are weak to guns. Hit using guns onlu and keep asking for money instead of an all out attack. Depending on the enemy, they could give you at least 2000 to 10000 every time you asked for money. And when they get fed up and attack you, shoot them again. Furthermore, when there is only one enemy left and you keep asking for money, they will summon more enemies. Then you could do the proccess all over again. Did this before finishing the third palace, and got 50k from just one battle against Angels, and without any equipment, jose's boost, or chihayas confidant. Thus is good for early game
@@erizindoThe Sun method was an old method in the base game too, hence why no one really calls it out explicitly. It's only applicable between the end of the first palace (when you can get Sun Rank 2) and the start of the ~third palace, when most people do their first real Mementos run. Persona 5 (let alone Royal) is almost ridiculous generous with time compared to Persona 3 or 4, so you can 'waste' a day in Mementos with no real negative effect. Furthermore, by the time you actually *need* crazy amounts of money, i.e. for overleveled Persona Fusion and buying Personas from the compendium, mementos is the way to go. Earlygame is potentially harder due to the lack of resources, but you don't actually need to go on some crazy money-grinding spree before the second palace. And Ryuuji is one of the first confidants you can get to rank 7 just because of his availability, so instakill is actually pretty early.
I recommend one thing, in mementos the levels are randoms, so maybe in one of them the enemies will respawn always inmediatly, or the enemies only will have a red aura (that gives you more money), or the level will be dark and will be demon treasures... So is better if you change the level, to try to spawn this kind of enemies. The problem obviously is that you can't stay so long because the reappear will kills you if you don't have high level. I have 3 millions nok in Sae place, but is my +new game. In my first game I played normal, because is not funny if you are OP.
I got maxed yen witch is 9,999,999,9 in like 10 minutes the lower the floor the higher money and exp you get like in the endgame youl get up to 100000 yen per insta kill or 30000 and 5000-7000 exp
Ishaan kaushal You can fall through to the next floor in momentos, I’m pretty sure you need to have already traveled to the one below you for it to happen. Seems pretty rare, I’ve spent many hours in momentos and it’s only happened to me once.
It’s the new cognition thing. Like for example a floor can be pitch black, have all “flaming” enemies. One of the cognition is falling through the floor.
new method was super fun I just went to mementos for requests but ended up getting at least 800,000+ each visit lol Other than maxing money up, yall should also lvl up items (at least to 5) and then you get like 5+ items from those cube things lying around, which you sell and get at least 300,000. Then you sell the sooty armors (not before turning the a few of the good ones to actual armor) and get about 300,000+ more
Its actually the quickest money methood tbh. And the most non boring. I tested this with a sees armband on main c. As well as 200 percent money gain from jose and money reading i started mementos with 900k from start to finish every single floor available up to the end of Adyeshach I spent about 2 minutes per floor before proceeding about 20 kills per floor i left with almost 5 million.
If you don't have the Ryuji insta-kill, you can replace it by having enough ranks on Yoshida and using the conversation method with that chance of getting a lot of money dropped through negotiation. By the time you can't get the enemy to call for help, use the All-Out Attack to get double the money you earned. I got 120,000k from one mementos battle, and it took about 6-8 mins tops.
If you do show me the money every time before an all out attack, you get guaranteed money and you can still just do the all out attack and kill the enemies. If you use Sun confidant to ask for extra money, you can sometimes get 10-50k per battle. I did this through all of the random encounters i was doing anyway in Palace 4 (spoilers, you know which palace this is) and got over 700k Yen
I recommend trying to find the floors with the Red enemies only as they drop A LOT more Yen and XP compared to a normal enemy. I had everything you had and I believe I was on the 3rd-4th level of Mementos and just kept insta killing them I walked out 12 levels higher and had around 2-3 million yen. I did this till the Reaper showed up and even then you can easily dodge him as he doesn’t ambush you as quickly compared to vanilla This took around 20-30 mins
I'm on the lower levels and found a good floor where it's a straight shot from one side to the other. You can drive back and forth and the enemies keep spawning. With this method I made tons of cash on that floor
For an earlier technique you can raise Yoshida (Sun confidant) to rank 3, keep knocking the enemies with red auras down when vulnerable using the lowest dmg skill you have against their weakness, keep asking for money until they die, go out of the area, come back, they respawn, rinse repeat, you get between 50-200k for each fight depending on your luck
My method was to max out the technicality ability to where every technical hit is guaranteed to take them down. You can max out your technical by playing Billiards, though for the final upgrade I think you need high level proficiency, so this exact method may not be possible early on. Combine that with the sun confidant money abilities and find a higher level enemy who doesn’t Rpl/Null/Dr gun attacks. -Put them to sleep (I simply used Ann’s Dormina ability to do so). -And then use your gun to knock them down and rob them. Keep doing that until your party runs out of bullets, avoid using Ryuji and Haru cause of their low ammo and high damage guns. I say use this method if you don’t want to become overleveled, but the suggested method in the video is also great if you also want level ups.
The EXP buff is actually pretty worthless tbh. My characters were all in the ballpark of 90 when I faced the boss of the final palace in 3rd semester, without ever grinding EXP.
It's funny, that you can make hundreds of thousands of dollars in palaces in palaces and momentos but in the story you see them have to spot yusuke or him worry about sushi prices.
Hifumi also has an ability that doubles the amount of money you get when you win an ambush battle in your first party turn, for those times you don't insta kill an enemy. So I have a Izanagi no okami with myriad truths, almighty amp and boost, magic ability and victory cry. Never run out of sp for those enemies that don't insta die, it's beautiful
if were going full money also max out the items in Mementos, after about 1 mementos run, you'll have about 100,000 more yen after you sell the huge amount of grinded treasure
I'm in sae's palace rn, and I'm just using the perks of yoshida's abilities by always asking for money and and always saying you can do better than that You get like 20-50k per run
Yeah, these new kids be using all these crazy smarty strats, but using Yoshida's confidant ability works wonders with just a little more effort. You can use it a bit earlier too, so it's typically the method I use to make ends meet. Just remember to demand 💰 from the highest level enemy and it works great.
Cameron Riddle nah what you gotta do is press for money, and if it’s a lot (like 10k+) keep pressing, but if it isn’t much or you don’t wanna risk it, all out attack
@@jackg4866 that's super risky unless you're already in a good position though, whenever they get back up the get a free attack which sometimes means they get to attack twice in a row, plus to keep knocking them down cost alot of sp. So I mean that method works great but it's not nearly as efficient and quite a bit more risky
@@cameronriddle4520 What I mean is that you don't have to go outta your way to use such a method because regular mechanics are good enough. I forget about the exp and items though, what a crazy method that is.
Whats really fast is talking to flying types (for gun weakness) with the sun arcana confidant, just keep asking for more money until it does an attack(some enemies will always go for a sleep or whatever status attack that does no dmg) or summons a new one, then simply kill the first and now with a new money bank with full health just keep circling this until youre out of ammo, i tried this in konosiro's palace with some of the early mobs and after some minutes i made well over 200.000 yen, just makes me think what maddness it would be if you can get this "lock" onto higher lvl enemies.
another boost in money you missed is that hifumi has a perk that doubles the amount money you get by killing all enemies on first turn however i don't know if that counts towards the instakill amount. Also if you want to know how much you can get on the deeper levels i'm near the end of the game and some enemies are giving 100k+ per kill.
I'm not sure it works like that, her perk activates if you defeat the enemy in the first turn of an ambush. I dont believe the auto kill counts as an ambush. I believe if you ambush the enemy you trigger a battle and not the autokill.
@@0395gabe again not sure if it counts but at the very least you can make good money from treasure demons which can't be instakilled since you can hit them with their weakness, then AOA so you get money from both hifumi and fortune perks.
The even simpler method is just max Memeontos Items and just run through any section repeatedly, you'll get money from instakills and by the time you leave your item stacks will be capped and you can sell it for a fortune. I haven't dropped below 300k since Mementos opened, and have gone as high as 2.5m. Not to mention you overload on healing items, and each floor has a chance for the SP items on the starting platform which is also boosted by Jose. They seriously fucked up by making the Item Boost the cheapest upgrade. It's broken.
Better advice , if you’re going into a dungeon that has a lot of the same enemy persona find a way to knock it and capture it then once you raise your sun confidant rank enough you could keep asking for money and they will shell out the same amount 2-3 times so if you get lucky and 15k it would be 45k plus he’s going to either pass or fail on the 4 so it will more then likely turn into a battle again and you gain xp as well as keeping the money you held the persona up for with an added extra on top for killing the persona , and this is all just one battle it seems like a lot but it’s just 3 minute tops maybe even less I have no clue Hours past like seconds in this game. Works for every area
Their are so many ways to earn fast money in Person Royal 5. The only issue is getting to them because the game loves to force things on you that you have to do making it longer to get to these tasks.
I still think the original older method with confuse is a lot better. This may be a little decent method early-mid game but once you start getting your persona stats up to decent luck status you can literally use morgana for the confuse trick on mini bosses that throw out at least 80K-130K.
At just about before Haru's Big Bang Palace -if not sooner - you can get get up to 1mil yen just by playing normally and selling everything you don't use and the treasures to the Gun Bro...but now it's time to horde!
If you want an easier way of making money, Max out Jose items reward tree at maxed out you get 11 items from 1 pickup, that's 1100% bonus at Path of Akzeriyyuth while I was getting all th stamps I made about 900k from treasures pickups, granted there were treasures from normal battles mixed in, but even if I didn't get into any battle I suspect I would still make a lot of money from just driving around. even at early game it's still useful because you can get healing items that heals 20% of your HP and it's 1000 a piece if you choose to sell one
the way i farmed money was in kaneshiro's palace. most of the battles have enemies weak to gun and elec, so they're easy to hold up. you need to hang out with mr politics till you can ask for more money, then just keep pressing you can do better than that. you wanna keep at least one enemy alive and make sure you dont kill it. theyll start to heal themselves and summon more enemies which makes it more easy to continuously keep asking for more and more money. im sure there''s prolly an easier strat but this is just one i used.
I just upgrade the item count from Jose and get golden items from mementos to sell to Iwai. More consistent and easier, as there are more item drops on floors than enemies.
I don’t think that it’s a BETTER method per se, but I do have A method. What I do is: 1)Put as many points as I can into the Mementos upgrade thing(Jose) 2) Max out the Sun Arcana(Technically you could just get him to Rank 3, where he’ll give you the ability to ask for larger amounts of money, but it’s such a great Arcana, why stop) 3)Put on the Chihaya money buff 4) Put the increased money accessory on all teammates because who needs proper accessories 5) Find a bunch of enemies weak to Guns 6) Profit Then after a run in Mementos/Palace run, I sell any breakables to the Airsoft Shop and my Sooty Armor to the Secondhand Clothing store. I also haven’t bought any armor or weapons from the gunsmith since I started this game since I find some great stuff just rooting around Mementos and Palaces. Side note: Surprisingly enough, I maxed out all of my Social Stats and a good portion of the Confidants and fused their Arcana’s Ultimate Personas on my first run. I might not need NG+ to get my Platinum of the game because everything I need comes from the true good ending or whatever it’s called. Side Side Note: I have a video on my channel in which the Reaper spawned the very moment I went down the stairs in Mementos. Like, I saw him later in my non-clipped full version, but literally after I got in the Mona Car, I heard his chains rattling.
In my experience this method is good in the late game were you exploit a momentos map which look like a highway full of enemies you go back and forth killing them, but if you are in the early to mid stages of the game it's not worth since you can make a sandman persona with a high luck so early in the game "level 25ish" and you can lock him up with the item you can buy from jose in momentos and you'll get around 40 luck stat so early and you'll get 40k to 70k every 5-6 confuses for bosses.
i did all this, but i also used treasure traps on top of my mementos runs. treasure demons drop a FUDGE ton of money, and by the time i got to Sae's palace, i hit the max amount of yen
So there was something that happened to me when I was going through mementos, on one floor I got a special thing where all of the shadows were bosses (giramakala in my case) so basically whenever you instakill this boss shadow, you get more money and exp, so if you get some rng luck to get this to happen, combined with everything you said, you could make even more bank than before!
i dont know how efficient this is but after grinding in mementos i get a lot of sooty armor and that sells pretty well at the second hand store and i get about 200000 yen per visit to the second hand store
You can still do the confusion method it's just a bit more involved. The trick is to have joker go directly before the boss and to have a weak party member holding a bad weapon attack the boss just before joker as this will remove all status ailments and then have joker reapply the confuse. To be clear, this is still an extreme nerf ( which is good) on the method and honestly this idea may be better if you disregard the amount of time it would take to max out the money you earn in mementos
This is what I've been doing pretty much. Throw in max item gains, and you get a bit of bonus money when you sell all your items you get while driving around.
It’s not nearly as much as this, but if you just level up normally and have the Sun confidant to where you can haggle for money, at least for the upper half of the beginning of the game, it gets you a pretty decent amount of money. Just using that method (plus the free DLC SEES band if you want) I personally was able to get enough to where I could pay Chiyaha the 100k and buy 3 Invigorate 3 things from Takemi and still have 100k leftover. I haven’t gone into Mementos yet (despite being in August... yes, I know... such a terrible thing! But I’m waiting for the missions to compile up and I want to do a couple of the Confidant ones in one run) but I have Ryuji’s confidant at max, so next time I do go, I’ll definitely try it out! I typically try to stay 1-3 levels above everyone’s average so I think my level won’t be a problem either!
I prefer this to reaper farming but he's still fun to fight. Stamps are op and Instakill is easily the best ability in p5r. I literally Walked through Shido Nijima mementos and the final palace 3rd semester with less than 10 or so actual fights.
I still think the confuse-method is more effective/faster but this method is definitely a lot more fun and achievable a lot faster. Getting a 99-LU Persona early-mid game is tough without the initial capital and even then you still need a decently high boss that's confusable. I was able to cap out at 9.9m using the Confuse method in about 40 minutes but I wasn't able to start doing this until 11/25. If I had to do this all over again, I'd probably just go with this method from the start.
U can get 9.999.999 in less than 30 mins by farming it at da'at floors 10-12(white mementos for avoiding spoilers), most enemies (something like 60%)give 85-170k per death
What level are the enemies out there and what level should you be to insta-kill them? I'm at 4 million Yen now and start of November month. Was planning to do a mementos run soon.
I think interrogation with high luck nets a lot of money as well. Just playing normally but always Interrogating any chance you get then using an all out attack when you're satisfied (potentially 60k+yen or more per fight) could also be as low as 20k but 20k yen per fight is good too. And I'm getting these numbers without a high luck persona. Though it doesn't work that well in mementos with weaker personas cause you can't interrogate them, but it's easy to leave a palace with 1+million yen just playing it normally with interrogate added in every fight. Need sun confidant maxed out also but I feel like it's a lot of extra yen just added to going through story
Mine: Max out technicals and get Fundraising from Yoshida, bring Ann and a Psy (not psio or psiodyne, just psy). Hunt down a red Shadow in your current Palace. Sleep it, psy, demand money when it lets you, and once it gets really low on health just sleep it without attacking to heal it. Ez funds.
I'm not completely sure about this but if you increase the experience you get with the José stickers or whatever it's called you will increase the money you receive because when you increase the experience you also increase the level of the enemies and that also increase the money you get (sorry for my terrible English I'm from Spain)
I used this method on the new mementos path for the 3rd semester, and at one point I started getting 200K yen per kill. The best part about this: I am far from the deepest area of the path, and from the numbers I've been getting up until now, I can guesstimate that my money gain could duplicate (area 1 was 15k per kill, area 3+ was 10-30k and area 6-10 was 10k-40k; jumps to 180k-206k).
I literally had no money since I spent most of it on personas & gear. However, after spending at least an or two in Mementos I’ve manage to get 3 million yen without having the money boost thing maxed out. As well as not going to the deepest area where you can get a lot more yen than the lower levels. P.S Best way to farm is by attacking those treasure demons & I believe if you use that one item to make them spawn more you’ll be able to get more experience as well as money in the process.
Hold up enemy keep asking for money until they attack. Hold up enemy keep asking for money until they attack... When the get low on hp they will usually call in a new enemy... Repeat. I can usually get around 60,000 to 100,000 per battle.
sounds better than my current method of weakening an enemy into a parley and keep pushing for money over and over until the enemy stops giving. and if he summons reinforcements, kill him and put the reinforcements in hold up and repeat the process until either no one spawns anymore or you can't go on for whatever reasons. It's been doing great for me, but a bit time consuming and dependant on rng. in one battle I had managed to gain about 48k in the third area of mementos but I usually average at 11 - 26k range
I found that by maxing out items instead of money you can get technically more money. Because of the treasures that you get by grabbing items on Mementos you can sell them to Iwai and depending on what you get you can some serious cash. By just selling all the shit I found by just roaming around for items, I use to get around 300k yen every time I went to Iwai. And that was just doing some requests
Getting Yoshida's perks and demanding money repeatedly can net me 50-100k per fight pretty easily. Even more if the shadow drops 10k or more per demand. Doing this until I spark an alarm also nets me way more than enough cash to fuse insanely leveled persona with the Twin's perk very early on.
I still think the confuse method is better. When I first fused a persona with confuse with fusion alarm it had like 20 luk, if you itemize the dlc persona ariadne you can get a +13luk accessory. With that, go to a mementos boss and im netting about 60k every turn it dishes out cash. So I grinded till I got like 1mill yen, enough to last me a while and help build a better confuse persona Eventually I fused a confusion Queen Mab, and with fusion alarm lockdown you can build up luk pretty fast. By about Sae's palace luk was boosted to like 60 and im making more then 100k each drop. By Shido luk is maxed and now mementos bosses give me 150k each drop, 15mins and im at max money. I dont know if the stamp multiplier applies tho But now I have a perfectly maxed luk persona I can use future playthroughs.
This isn't really a better way but it makes you some extra cash 1. Get Yoshida to at least rank 2 2. You don't need ryugi's insta kill 3. Go to a place/memntos is you unsuccsefully insta-kill an enemy but accidentlly ambush them 4. knock them down 5. Ask for money 6. normally if you ask for money they will leave and just give you money. 7. but with yoshida rank 1 or 2 it'll show a screen where it says you can askfor more or just leave it. 8. you'll get the money at the first time then press the all out attack button ( mine is a triengle) 9. You'll get money from the shawdo and exp
Even with this new method in mind, I've been doing the old-fashioned Confuse trick now and again until I get Chihaya's Money Reading (and Hifumi's Narikin, if they stack with each other). I'm not upgrading EXP until super late because I'm playing on Merciless and avoiding a lot of combat to offset the already increased EXP.
Another method is: raise your confidant level with the public speaker. What you will get from this is: the ability to ask for more money, and the ability to get more money (fundraising.) From this, you can get 200,000 yen from one battle alone if you torture the fuck out of a somewhat lower level enemy by continually downing them and asking them for money when you know their weakness. I got 2 million yen out of this from one mementos trip. It's definitely not as good as this since it takes longer, but it's a lot less complicated if you're just looking for some short steps by simply raising your bond with a confidant.
Oooooohhhh. Thank you!

"Aborted chicken fetus Persona,"
I will never be able to look at Onmoraki the same ever again
I think the book from the old man increases what elements can trigger Technicals with certain ailments, not the length of the ailments.
Just rinse and repeat that for level 99
Hope this helps!
And you can maybe also use hifumi’s naikiri ability if you finish an enemy in one turn all out attack it can net you bonus money
Forgot to talk about Hifumi, but also cause I don't know if it affects since you don't actually go into battle and the wording for Narikin states extra if you beat the battle in one turn after an ambush. I gotta test this in another save whether her passive impacts it.
@@thesodiumcat please respond if it does work when you get some extra info.
David Jackson Chihaya's money reading does affect it. I compared with and without her reading and it does double your money gain.
@@thesodiumcat Good thing i prioritized her for lucifer anyway.
i found a good infinite money strat that you can perform in kaneshiros palace what you'll need is the sun confidants fund raising perk. there's a certain set of enemies that spawn in the first hall of kaneshiros bank which are neko and highpixie (one of each) you can kill neko but keep the high pixie alive. use your bullets to down the high pixie then demand money until she refuses and fights you again once she does that she may either spawn another neko or use a heal on herself or use dormina on your team. repeat the process of downing her and demanding money till you run out of bullets on all your teammates then find another neko, high pixie duo and then do it all again. this strat uses very little sp (only 4 for zio to knock down neko) and is highly effective i got over 100k doing this in one battle and i was still able to beat the palace in one day since i barely used any sp.
Love the new method. I did the confuse farming on kawakami's request in mementos and I gained almost 2 million yen in an hour, but this seems more efficient in the long haul

I enjoyed the changes in Mementos. I did feel like it makes Mementos feel more alive and to make the descend less tedious. I'm hoping it's also Atlus taking notes and ideas to see how they can do similar changes to Tartarus when P3 is decided to be re-released.
Mementos is definitely a lot better in Royal, not to spoil but they've also addressed the horrible music in deeper areas.
Spoilers for third semester:
If you go to the new momentos, you can earn 30k per shadow.
169,000k from some shadows.
It's not really a secret method. Everyone who's done yoshida knows how good the skill is
Nobody is talking about it because almost everyone that has the game knows that
Why do this when with this metod i get 22-76 k per instakill only with 200% mementos modifier
@@xXAnge69DjXx thats why my tip is for early game bro. It takes quite some time to unlock the instakill and 200% mementos modifier

I just went to mementos for requests but ended up getting at least 800,000+ each visit lol
Other than maxing money up, yall should also lvl up items (at least to 5) and then you get like 5+ items from those cube things lying around, which you sell and get at least 300,000.
I’m glad I figured this out on my first playthrough easily getting my team to level 99 and also getting 4,000,000 yen in the process
I really like that they’ve made it sooo much easier to make money.
Yes sir can confirm this is the way to do it. Lower levels i can get 600k-1M yen for a few runs through the floors
I did this till the Reaper showed up and even then you can easily dodge him as he doesn’t ambush you as quickly compared to vanilla
This took around 20-30 mins
I'm on the lower levels and found a good floor where it's a straight shot from one side to the other. You can drive back and forth and the enemies keep spawning. With this method I made tons of cash on that floor
same, until the Reaper came along
Don't forget the exp as well seriously this is even better
The EXP buff is actually pretty worthless tbh. My characters were all in the ballpark of 90 when I faced the boss of the final palace in 3rd semester, without ever grinding EXP.

Yeah, these new kids be using all these crazy smarty strats, but using Yoshida's confidant ability works wonders with just a little more effort. You can use it a bit earlier too, so it's typically the method I use to make ends meet. Just remember to demand 💰 from the highest level enemy and it works great.
That makes you miss out on the exp and items though iirc
Cameron Riddle nah what you gotta do is press for money, and if it’s a lot (like 10k+) keep pressing, but if it isn’t much or you don’t wanna risk it, all out attack
@@jackg4866 that's super risky unless you're already in a good position though, whenever they get back up the get a free attack which sometimes means they get to attack twice in a row, plus to keep knocking them down cost alot of sp. @@cameronriddle4520 What I mean is that you don't have to go outta your way to use such a method because regular mechanics are good enough. I forget about the exp and items though, what a crazy method that is.
Well, there go my worries for getting money in the endgame.
Dude, at the deepest area *true and path* you can get 80k every now and then and that's without Sees and Chihaya, that's simply just the stamps
End*
another boost in money you missed is that hifumi has a perk that doubles the amount money you get by killing all enemies on first turn however i don't know if that counts towards the instakill amount.
Would that count if you don't even enter a battle?

Upgrade the Jose to the max and you can go up to 20k a fight in the 2 last zones without even having the accessory equipped nor Chihaya.
BEFORE WATCHING: Mementos + Ryuji Rank 7
Edit: Less than a minute in. Nice!
(Watches while playing Royal)
Huh
If you can kill the treasure demons fast, you can also use treasure traps to increase their spawn rate
At just about before Haru's Big Bang Palace -if not sooner - you can get get up to 1mil yen just by playing normally and selling everything you don't use and the treasures to the Gun Bro...but now it's time to horde!
If you want an easier way of making money, Max out Jose items reward tree
at maxed out you get 11 items from 1 pickup, that's 1100% bonus
at Path of Akzeriyyuth while I was getting all th stamps I made about 900k from treasures pickups, granted there were treasures from normal battles mixed in, but even if I didn't get into any battle I suspect I would still make a lot of money from just driving around.
even at early game it's still useful because you can get healing items that heals 20% of your HP and it's 1000 a piece if you choose to sell one
the way i farmed money was in kaneshiro's palace. most of the battles have enemies weak to gun and elec, so they're easy to hold up. you need to hang out with mr politics till you can ask for more money, then just keep pressing you can do better than that. you wanna keep at least one enemy alive and make sure you dont kill it. theyll start to heal themselves and summon more enemies which makes it more easy to continuously keep asking for more and more money. im sure there''s prolly an easier strat but this is just one i used.
I just upgrade the item count from Jose and get golden items from mementos to sell to Iwai. More consistent and easier, as there are more item drops on floors than enemies.
For those that are curious: 1 dollar=~106 yen.
I don’t think that it’s a BETTER method per se, but I do have A method.
What I do is:
1)Put as many points as I can into the Mementos upgrade thing(Jose)
2) Max out the Sun Arcana(Technically you could just get him to Rank 3, where he’ll give you the ability to ask for larger amounts of money, but it’s such a great Arcana, why stop)
3)Put on the Chihaya money buff
4) Put the increased money accessory on all teammates because who needs proper accessories
5) Find a bunch of enemies weak to Guns
6) Profit
Then after a run in Mementos/Palace run, I sell any breakables to the Airsoft Shop and my Sooty Armor to the Secondhand Clothing store.
In my experience this method is good in the late game were you exploit a momentos map which look like a highway full of enemies you go back and forth killing them, but if you are in the early to mid stages of the game it's not worth since you can make a sandman persona with a high luck so early in the game "level 25ish" and you can lock him up with the item you can buy from jose in momentos and you'll get around 40 luck stat so early and you'll get 40k to 70k every 5-6 confuses for bosses.
i did all this, but i also used treasure traps on top of my mementos runs. treasure demons drop a FUDGE ton of money, and by the time i got to Sae's palace, i hit the max amount of yen
just what i needed in order to complete my god tier builds tyty
Can confirm, I somehow got 1 MILLION YEN, in 20 minutes. This trick is amazing. And I didn’t even have the money increase to 200%.
Nor did I use the money boost from Chihaya 😳😳.
This method is crazy in Da'at
when you have two ways of increasing a stat the effects typically stack or multiply in RPG's, not add.
When you get to DA’AT, you get like 11,000 yen for one enemy and that was without the SEES armband and Chiyaya buff
Ez funds.
The treasure Personas give you like 120k in one go if you kill it with an all out attack with the mementos at 200% with money
I'm not completely sure about this but if you increase the experience you get with the José stickers or whatever it's called you will increase the money you receive because when you increase the experience you also increase the level of the enemies and that also increase the money you get (sorry for my terrible English I'm from Spain)
if you go in da’at you can get like 60-90k per instakill
P.S
Best way to farm is by attacking those treasure demons & I believe if you use that one item to make them spawn more you’ll be able to get more experience as well as money in the process.
You could get even more if the S.E.E.S arm band is on the other party members as well depending if it stacks
Depresso it doesn't stack unfortunately. Would be crazy if it did though
I still think the confuse method is better.
When I first fused a persona with confuse with fusion alarm it had like 20 luk, if you itemize the dlc persona ariadne you can get a +13luk accessory.
With that, go to a mementos boss and im netting about 60k every turn it dishes out cash.
So I grinded till I got like 1mill yen, enough to last me a while and help build a better confuse persona
Eventually I fused a confusion Queen Mab, and with fusion alarm lockdown you can build up luk pretty fast.
By about Sae's palace luk was boosted to like 60 and im making more then 100k each drop.
By Shido luk is maxed and now mementos bosses give me 150k each drop, 15mins and im at max money.
I dont know if the stamp multiplier applies tho
But now I have a perfectly maxed luk persona I can use future playthroughs.
This isn't really a better way but it makes you some extra cash
1. Get Yoshida to at least rank 2
2. You don't need ryugi's insta kill
3. Go to a place/memntos is you unsuccsefully insta-kill an enemy but accidentlly ambush them
4. knock them down
5. Ask for money
6. normally if you ask for money they will leave and just give you money.
7. but with yoshida rank 1 or 2 it'll show a screen where it says you can askfor more or just leave it.
8. you'll get the money at the first time then press the all out attack button ( mine is a triengle)
