For those who are wondering if this works with the OG persona 5, the quick answer is NO, why? Simply because in the OG persona there is no alarm in the Velvet room.
Yeah the way to buff your persona stats is such a tedium I gave up even trying after a few upgrades. Better off farming Reapers on a flu day with the persona equipped and just get to level 99
Still, most builds dont need all stats maxed, usually you won't have a magic and physical build so strength and magic are kinda pointless together, and if you dont have an ailment skill luck doesn't do much, so usually you only need three stats maxed which can be done in original persona 5.
If you have a high enough level and max Jose’s money bonus, you can sometimes get 72,000 yen or higher on an insta kill in the royal exclusive mementos.
What does this mean exactly? Is it like this example: I want to strengthen my Orpheus F Picaro, I can use a normal Orpheus F as the sacrifice to strengthen her to get the bonus EXP? But if it fails, it doesn't give any EXP at all right?
I totally forgot about fusing the two together for 10 points. Instead I was strengthening once, then again with the second one so it failed and that gives 5 points instead. No wonder it took me over 70 alarms to max my persona.
Yeah so what I was doing was killing enemies until I had two or more extra personas that I was going to use during the fusion alarm. You need to do this step. What I did wrong: After that, I was picking my persona of choice to strengthen, which was Arsene. I picked him, then choose 1 of the persona I obtained earlier to sacrifice so Arsene gets his stats leveled. When you do this for a second time, the execution will fail, but Arsene gains +5 in random stats. What you’re supposed to do: The 2 or more persona that you got from clearing mobs? Fuse them together while the alarm is going. This new persona will be special, in the sense that if you use it to strengthen a persona, it’ll be more effective. So you fuse two random persona that you obtained. Then you go to the strengthening section, pick your Arsene or whatever you want to level, then choose the random persona you just made. This will cause the execution to fail, but because you used the persona you just made, you get +10 in random stats versus +5 the way I did it.
@@phantom-X2086 I know you can only do certain things once a day, though I don’t remember what right now. I think inheriting skills from other persona is a one a day limit. I go to mementos and do it personally, after getting the fortune teller to make the alarm more frequent. I do all of my strengthening at the end of the year each time I play usually, so if you’re trying this too early that’s the only thing I could see causing issues.
This works great even without the confidants he mentioned, but a word of warning: save before the first fusion as ive legit gotten trolled with the game giving me a fusion 1 accident 3-5 times in a row (idk why but im being serious) and you cant take this because it cancels the alarm before you put the stats on the desired persona

Update: ok I figured it out apparently as soon as you enter Mementos after paying for Celestial reading the Velvet Room door will turn red so you can do Fusion Alarm first thing than go ram a Shadow to trigger another alarm
3 years later but was this patched out? I've tried this multiple times exactly how the video tells you to do it but the second fusion does happen despite the malfunction, the twins pop out a chainsaw and go on with it. What am i doing wrong?
Once in the Velvet Room you do this 1. Use 2 low leveled personas (Do not fuse any more after the 1st) 2. Go to strengthen the persona 3. Select the persona you want to strengthen first, then select the newly fused persona (Should have a golden fade in) and that's it
To add onto your tutorial: you actually don't need Celestial Reading that much to get quick fusion alarms. It's not as necessary; in fact, I'd recommend saving that money lol Majority of the time, it only takes 3-5 Insta-kills in Mementos for me to get a fusion alarm (which is half a floor anyway). I never unlocked the Fortune arcana at all and didn't know about the readings, but found it was really easy to get multiple fusion alarms after 3-5 Insta-kills in Mementos and Palaces.

So, If u gallow a persona and wanna gallow it again, u can do so if u trigger a fusion alarm for each time u wanna do it instead of getting less stats plus having to rebuy the same persona over and over again.
maybe the reason why it's not working is because you're pressing the attack button as you're approaching the enemy. you don't need to press anything to trigger insta-kill when ramming an enemy, you just simply have to drive through them.

Fortune teller has a ability to increase confidants easier or something like that he also might have combined that with certain arcana personas
@@DashieFan5 thats useless, just get a persona with the same arcana, it works just the same
Yeah, but fortune teller doesn't take up the evening I believe
@@Phoen_xD I can confirm chihayas reading is worth it. I had Ryuji as an available confidant and his card didn’t say “UP” even though I had a chariot persona on me. When I went and got a chariot reading, Ryujis confidant said “UP” so they are most definitely not the same
@@Phoen_xD nah it makes them available if they don’t wanna hang out which could happen even if u have a persona of their corresponding arcana, so it’s far from useless
You used Save Wizard tho didn’t you?
How can I increase my teammates personas?
Jazz club
@@DarwixDarwixGaming Can I get everyone to 99 stats too and still rank max everyone?
@@s-wo8781 not in a single playthrough, to max out ONLY two confidants' stats I think you need AN ENTIRE game, their stats increase pretty slowly and jazz club is not available since the start, but I'm not sure about these calculation, so...
I see uve romanced best girl
