Next time I will try my best
I just did a bunch of meth before watching and it was too slow. Had to speed it up in the settings then recorded with my other phone, uploaded the sped up video to UA-cam, then increased speed settings for that video. Now I'm going to go take my VHS player apart.
Let's make videos for people new to electronics and go way too fast for them to see or understand what makes one good or bad. 🙄🙈

May I ask how you would go about diagnosing a fault on a PC power supply?
It is a good one (Silverstone platinum) but unfortunately it does not work. Visually all the components look fine.
I am worried about testing while the power supply is connected to power and because of capacitors etc. Do you think i can find the cause with a multimeter while no power is running through it? I can solder.

In a word, if any two of three legs of a MOSFET are shorted in diode mode checking, then It will be bad MOSFET
everything is simpler than in this video, if in the resistance measurement mode you bring the red probe to the gate and the black probe to the source, then the transistor will open, and the resistance between the drain and the source will be minimal (usually less than an ohm), if, on the contrary, the gate is touched with a black probe, then the transistor will close, and the resistance between the drain and the source will be large, which means the transistor is working.

Analog is better than digital tester when testing electronic components..
Using cd800 cant test acurate on mosfet. Because its only 1.5V. It will not hold the state
can I check this while its still on the power supply board?
