I’ve always wondered why they haven’t made this stadium bigger but now I realise that there’s no room to make it bigger, they might be able to get away with the other goal side but the other side is impossible unless they knock down all of those nice looking buildings next to it
They looked at it and only thing that anyone has come up with is turning the pitch 90 degrees, but you end up with a weird looking stand behind the goal where the Milburn stand currently is. Only realistic solution is to move.
How did you get permission to unlock the geozone, I want to photograph the hotel and university which is in the DJI geozone the zone stretches to the monument, Westgate Rd and RVI, did you have to get permission from St James's park
The smallest stand has listed buildings behind so cannot build...but opposite the huge structure behind the goal is the gallowgate. Newcastle owned the land behind to expand the stadium to 60, 000 + but mike Ashley came in, sold this land from nufc to mike Ashley holdings so he could sell land on for more boring office / student digs making him about 8 million pound. That fat cretin asset stripped the club. Hopefully new consortium can imagine a new rout of expansion.
It's a half finished stadium and always will be. The Leazes Stand cannot ever be enlarged because there are Grade 1 Listed Georgian houses right behind it and the land behind the Gallowgate End was sold off a couple of years ago by Mike Ashley so he pocketed the cash so therefore the club don't own the land so cannot enlarge that stand either. Also there are 3 tower blocks planned to be built on that land so bacically Newcastle are screwed. So the new owners really do have a difficuly decision to make, either keep it as it is which is half finished stadium or build a new stadium. As for calling it the Cathedral on the bloody hill how ridiculous is that.
I.m sure the planning commuter at Newcastle council confirmed you can still extend the gallowgate...even with the apartment blocks being built at strawberry place. Also, a middle eastern investment fund own leazes terrace...Maybe a possibility of pif purchasing those and incorporating them into an East stand rebuild, maybe as a hotel? Be expensive option but lot cheaper than new stadium.
That was enough, dont make that stadium becomes a white elephant, it just a hype those stadium repleted in a few recent matches. Just need refurbish and handled well
A very nice stadium at a very beautiful city , everything is beautiful out there
The best stadium in the world
City stadium one of a kind.
Needs "Local Hero" as the soundtrack

We can’t extend it because the council have bought all the land next to it so it’s illegal for us to build further
@@juniorhowe4118 Maybe the Arabs can sort that out for you aswel now
@@PSG81 hopefully
It's big enough. The fans bring the city to a standstill before and after games. If anything the capacity should be reduced.

Usually a non-standard flight application with NATS and then send this to dji for unlock codes. you'll need permission from landowners for TOLP too.
Can they ever finish it?
