I am from India, first saw Newcastle in 2004-05, and fell in love. Been a Geordie by heart since, and will forever be! Went to the city before the pandemic, and now with Champions League and Europe, plan to go back and watch a game under the lights at the Cathedral and scream "Toon Toon B&W Army"
I'm a fan from Sri Lanka, I've been a fan since the 90s... the club has been the only constant in my life, been there through the good and the bad. I love this club to death. One of the few things I like about social media is that I can finally share my love for the Toon with people around the world
I m from Hong Kong, being a Newcastle fan for 20 years, tears are in my eyes when finished the video, still waiting a chance to visit St James’ Park for the first time😢
From Thailand, I was a student at NCL from 2000 to 2003 and spending my first year living in Leazes Terrace. Every home game is just across the street. I was so moved by how devoted toon fans are to their team, and I decided to join them. ⚫⚪⚫⚪
I may live far away and never got the opportunity to be there, yet, but since that 5-0 win against ManU, I knew I fell in love with this club. Forever and ever.
From the very first time i watching football match on television when i was young many many years ago i knew i will love this club. Even when they were beaten by classy 80 yard screamer from my favourite player xabi alonso that game. I knew this is the club i wanted to love and support. Its not an easy road. Painful and some sweet memories. Plus my closer friends supported liverpool. Hope one day i can travel to newcastle-upon-tyne and feel the special st james park atmosphere. HWTL from Malaysia
Live in Australia and these videos make me really feel apart of the clubs history even from across the world! I love this club and I bleed this club 🖤🤍🖤🤍
Always great to have excellent fans like yourself living all over the world! I’m originally from the Toon and moved abroad so know how difficult it is for fans abroad to keep up with the games. It’s amazing to see the club flying. I’ve been a fan for more than 30 years and hoping to celebrate us winning something with my son and my Dad. What a great time to be supporting the club and long may it continue!
Wor Shearer, you are absolutely spot on. Newcastle Upon Tyne is a marvellous city and Geordies are one of the loveliest people I have ever had a pleasure to encounter. Whenever I am in the toon, and the North East in general there is a sense of warmth and ease all around the air. Howay the toon. One of the best feelings ever is to see Geordies happy and smiling.
I’m a Londoner but I fell in love with football due to R9 and Big Al due to Big Al I would’ve supported any team he played at the time (1998) and it was Newcastle since then I like to consider myself as an adopted Geordie ! I’ll forever love the club
Tingles and tears watching this. I'm a Southener... but moved to The Toon in '93 and fell head over heels in love with the city, the people and this ridiculous football club. Roll on next season... I think it's almost time we actually won something 🫣
Been supporting #NUFC through thick & thin since 1994 all the way from #Malaysia even though I'm not from the city but I bleed black & white. One day I'll visit Newcastle Upon Tyne for matches & trophy parade #ToonArmy 🏴🏳️🏴🏳️🏴🏳️🏴🏳️
Bobby and Kev know what it means to be part of this club. We need to invest in the summer for sure, but we need characters who want to play for this club. That has been what we have got right so far. Eddie is a great judge of character
And now we can add Mohammed to those list of legends. He has transformed this club along with Amanda and his PIF. Bobby, Kev, Shearer and Bin Salman. What a bunch of bloody legends. Up the Toon.
I’ve been supporting this club from all the way over in western Canada because of FIFA 2002 as a kid of all things. Never had a club until then, loaded it up, picked NUFC for a career mode and was hooked from there. Have never wavered and my heart is so glad and full you all get to experience the rejuvenation of the club. Making plans to come over to finally visit the hallowed ground this upcoming season. Absolutely stoked.
If you'r from the area, you know what it means to support this club. As a toon fan from northumberland for 38 years, this video sums it all up for me, giving me goose bumps, and just wanting the new season to start as soon as possible!! HOWAY TOON!!!!!
Sir Bobby Robson's quote is EVERYTHING. Everything every Newcastle fan knows and has experienced.. walking out to look out over the pitch and stadium at St James' Park as a kid is a memory that stays with you for life. NUFC our club ❤️
I adore this football club but I always adore this city. My city! I had to move away 5 years ago and I still get the buzz and excitement heading home. Seeing the Angel, the bridges, the roof of St James'. Honestly I can't begin to explain the feeling I get.
Newcastle were my favourite English team. Great city. Great fans. Great passion. Similar to Scotland, where I'm from. I've been to a few games. Really concerned about the money involved in the PL now. Please don't change too much Geordies!!
Absolutely mint! Watching from Japan with tears in me eyes. Got to take my son to the pre-season games and then Forest at home last August. Absolutely amazing atmosphere - need to get back!
Tear drop while watching the moments we are waiting for such a long time. All just the beginning. Who still dare to said we can’t bring the champion league cup back home in the next 12 month. 👊🏼
For me this love affair started when I was a wee lad watching Shearer in Euro 96 (watching football for the first time) and when I found out he signed for NUFC I decided this was the club I would support. I've been through the highs and lows through the Keegan/Robson era to the 13 years of pain which now feels like a distant memory. I'm so proud of the supporters, the players/management and everyone who is associated with this beautiful club. I love Newcastle United with all my heart and this video (the way its shot, edited and put together) symbolises the good times ahead. Toon Toon x
Not from the area, born down South, but my grandfather was from South Shield before moving to Scotland and worked in the shipyard in the clyde back in the day, I know he was into his football, and since a teen there has only been one club, only ever will be one club. Best fans in the world for a number of reasons, I remember Keegan and the entertainers and the dark days of pasty man are fading it is a joy and for my mental health a huge bonus to look forward to every game knowing the club is now delivering the quality the fans have.
I’ll never, ever forget the feeling of going to my first match with my dad and sister. Nearly 30 years later and I got that same feeling back whenever I went this season
Couldn’t be any more prouder of my hometown Newcastle, I love the place dearly and love who we are as Geordies. I live in the Caribbean now for the last 7 years but I can’t wait to bring back my 6 year old son and wife to show them the atmosphere here.
I've supported this club since pre ashley, so... Seeing the club in this state is just unreal. Most of the time I just want them not to be relegated. In fact, just stay in top 15 is enough because it is not a drop zone. Now it's in the top 4, wow.
Newcastle is my city and I love it. Newcastle United has been my club all my life and I love it. First match circa 1980 with me uncle Joe standing on the concrete Gallowgate rails in the rain. Loved it. So excited for the future of our great football club and city. #HWTL
I'm so glad the club is reconnecting with legends like Alan Shearer. What Mike Ashley did to sever the connection to the club's past while not allowing it to have a future truly was horrible. What a time to be a Geordie.
He is still here, he’s watching down on us all with his black and white scarf around his neck shouting come on the lads with the biggest smile ever on his face Sir Bobby Robson ⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️⚫️⚪️⚫️ Toon Toon black and white. Army 🎉🎉🎉🎉😉👍👍
i got a medal presented to me when i was 10 from boobby moncur in 1970 been a passion ever since, all i want is for them to win the premiership before time comes knocking
I heard the name of Newcastle United FC in 2021 when the PIF tookover the club. Then I am going to realize that Saudis are always business minded, they wouldn't pick any bad club rather than a potential club which has a significant history of achievements and they did it.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Much respect !I am liverpool fan but i always admire Newcastle since the Goal movie when one actor from my country was the coach :) You had a great season.
Every club has its ups and downs. I've been following NUFC from overseas since the Alan Shearer days and it's amazing to see their players and Eddie and his staff step up so tremendously. Yes its an injection of money but so have all the other successful big clubs. FFP seeks to balance things out, but in a game of percentages, its the cream that rises to the top. You can only be as good as the players and staffing, roared upon by the amazing sell out crowds. Eddie's done a superb job not going for hyped players but those who can fit into the playing style (so please, we don't need Primadonnas like Neymar).
No other manager that came in would of done this. Eddie Howe what a man he knows and makes sure every player coming in knows what they are playing for. Love how we now have money so we get to see projects like this showcasing what football actually is. Yes we have tons of money now but newcastle is a proper club down to the core.
A city and club reborn, the Cathedral on the Hill is the emotional, soul and heartbeat and the fans its life blood, it's impossible to explain, it's just in your DNA even us Geordies can't explain it, this time now is our moment, the club and city have woken from the zombie years of the previous owner. The Force is with us, The North East remembers TOON TOON
My first home game, up the steps to hear a midweek chorus of noise.... mouth open wide and just taking it all in. Newcastle 4-3 Bradford City - League Cup, 01 November 2000. Shearer (2), Cordone and a late winner from Caldwell with our goals. A night I'll never ever forget. HWTL
Can’t wait until that day comes that we win something your going to see celebrations you’ve never seen before ! Struggle to write into words just how special it will be when our city lifts a major trophy again !
Newcastle is in champions league!! so in short Newcastle is back is an understatement. Marvellous club history and I love their style of football. I am United fan and the way they slaughtered United in their territory with support and aggressive play. The opponent team needs to have a serious mentality if they want to succeed at St. James!
