I love the use of Skelator as a medium for the player base to see them selves in in his absurdity so we can reflect on our own absurdity from the outside. We have all had these moments, especially the previous video, which actually opened up my eyes when it comes to how I play control. I hope to see more of these, I really do.
I had the cleanest run of oryx I've ever had with an lfg team and no one was making the correct call outs. It was beautiful and it will never happen again
I had an lfg where the plates were named after states and they swapped it to the four sides of a boat MIDWAY THROUGH. I’m still amazed we cleared it without wiping.
This is what I loved about D1, I completed every raid without any callouts or communication. The most you had was someone shooting you then the plate you were assigned to.

I'm too worried about getting blasted for not knowing what to do or not having the right gear. I have a job, I work, I can't no-life the game for everything, and spend hours researching shit.
@@AllenGray47I try to do a raid once per weekend but I’m the same as you I work full time so my time is limited I kinda know the main parts of encounters but stick to my go to raid teams because LFGs be wild sometimes lmao

My first full raid was the deep stone crypt took my party 6 hours. Then it was the disciple of the witness for 5 hours. Still upset I wasn’t able to do kings fall when it fist came out.

Skeletor’s the guy to list an LFG that required Fate, Hammer, and Gjally in Y1 even though he hasn’t had a clear in Vault or Crota yet and half his armor is still blue.

Ngl, i'm lucky to have not had any toxic raid experiences in the form of the host loosing his marbles. Closest thing was a vog run where everyone (me included) was angry at a teammate who 1, refused to use celestial nighthawk because it did "shit" damage and it would "ruin his drip" which is impossible if you're wearing mask of bakris with no ornament and aren't going for a gnarled aesthetic, and 2, would proceed to attempt SHATTERDIVING ATHEON. It was both an enraging and hilarious scenario.

I find myself being the Evil Lyn of the bunch more often than not: Not saying much, getting the most kills (but never having the best DPS), and letting the loudmouths and suck-asses do what they do best, which is being loud and sucking.
I have the weirdest experience with this raid. First two times were with a team just farming the Oryx checkpoint, so I knew that back to front, but not the rest. And I at no point even *wanted* Touch of Malice, I wanted the Zaouli’s Bane pattern. And then I get TOM anyway at less than ten clears. I think this raid can actively warp the desire sensor
I’m fucking crying laughing at this I was first timing this raid in discord and we took a 5 min break so the clan leader could yell at us just for me to get touch of malice on my first ever attempt at the raid lmao
I shared the onyxia wipe with my raid group because they’re all kids who had no idea what I was talking about when I said stuff like “more dots more dots stop dots” and “50 dkp minus”. Thank you for keeping culture alive.

The voice for Skeletor and He -Man sound slightly different than their actual actors. It doesn't sound like AI to me as the pitch and range don't match, especially compared to Alan's Skeletor.
To be fair - and in my opinion - King's Fall is a good example of a Raid that is a bit too complicated on what you need to do, at least when it comes to trying to get six normal people to do it in a timely manner.
This is exactly how majority are, think, act and talk who are using and are from lfg. Lfg in a nutshell. This is exactly why i stopt lfg. Majority of those people are toxic, childish and messed up. Yet those same ones keep saying use lfg. Smh. No thanks. Learn first how to be a normal and decent person to other people.
