Well said and in great detail, GB. Would you be kind to comment on artists who also use Tremolo C or G scales? It will help a huge number of artists become more discrete in their use. Thanks again.
Hey there! Thanks for the question and sorry in advance to disappoint you, but I'm not aware of recorded blues artists who use tremolo harps. Did you mean in other genres? Or can you steer me to some music I can listen before I consider a further response? Again, thanks - I'll do my best to answer as best I can.
That was it, BHGeorge sahab, the Tremolo of G, C or any other scale has been used by artists who play the Indian movie songs of various Raga from Karnatic lineage as well as other regional Ragas of Bengali and northern Indian classical origin. But a lot of professionals have gone to Chromatica versions to create a precise bending for originality of rendition. Notably Ashok Bhandari, Ujjal Dutt, Nitesh Bhunia, Ajay Vijh, Rithvik Sastry, Apoorva Bhatt, members of HALOH, and hundreds of such artists. I am still limited to tremolo harps and have not quite adapted to Chromatica, which I have from Hohner and Swan. Thanks again.
No problem, and thanks so much for that information! Are you aware of my friend Akarsha (Aki) Kumar? He is a very accomplished young Indian American player who started as a straight blues player but has started to fuse Bollywood tunes and American blues in a most exciting and successful manner. Here he is: www.akikumar.com/home

Oh...that is so fabulous. I will certainly keep in touch with the artist. That was just great, BHG.
My pleasure!
