Those etesia mowers are literally amazing a real god send for catching up with tall grass that we haven’t been able to get on because of all the rain
I also brought one a few months ago and it was the best thing I’ve ever invested in

Get yourself a weed burner. For the gravel if you don't use weedkiller. Don't you find hand weeding gravel that brings up the soil and mixes with the gravel which looks like it's dirty
Hi Robert I did have one the ignition broken so I’ll be buying a new one tomorrow or over the weekend again really handy to have for weeds and starting bonfires

Using 2 x weibang pro with high lift blades, cuts 8 inch soaking wet thick grass with ease, fills the bags to the brim with no issues, built like tanks too
I’ve never tried the weibang mowers but would happily try sometime 🙌🏼

Iv just bought a weibang 50svp pro being using it for the last 2 weeks on extremely long wet grass too for £600 so impressed put a high lift blade on to and have left the grass box on really good fills the grass bag to the limit and nothing sticks to the underside so happy so far 😊

Not easy being so far away mate but I’m guessing you guys keep in touch loads
I've run a pedestrian etesia for the last 16 years or more. Cracking little workhorse, plenty of poke and good at collecting in the wet. Also pretty reliable.
If its a higher end cut then its the Honda with the roller for those stripes. Personally I'd prefer the etesia. 💪
It’s a cracking mower I’ve been so so happy with it and agree for perfect stripes I love the Honda pro 536 👌🏼

My van window smashed so can’t do any mowing jobs until it’s fixed
My son won’t sleep at night 😂
There’s a list mate I’m tired and have more money going out than coming in despite having great income
Covering bills is easy it’s all the other unforeseen stuff which is extra outgoings on repairs and solicitors etc 😫
Hopefully have things back on track soon 👌🏼

With all the wet weather we’ve had and grass getting taller it’s the go to mower to get the lawns back into shape

Nice video bud , I like all the do’s and don’ts should have this or that , each to their own so il put my two pence in lol ( my mower of choice would of been my Honda izy with quick switch box to mulch ) and mulched it down but still , used the etesia years back great mowers . And with the chemicals for weed killing your right got to be so careful on domestic properties always best to ask especially with kids and animals around sometimes best to do it the old fashion way even if it goes kill our back and knees .

We used both izy and etesia on this first job as you will have seen both great for this kinda of work to get the grass down and back under control
Weed killer is great but sometimes I’m more careful with animals and kids playing in gardens like you’ve said
As I get older I’ll probably use them more but make sure it’s a good time for example if clients are out or on holiday
Got to think of our body’s more as we get older 😂
@@THETATTOOGARDENER83 yes sorry i see both mowers were used not sure wether your izy has 2x cutting blades or just the single , I mentioned izy I have gives you the option to box or mulch at a switch of a lever the two mulching blades makes a big difference in the finish of cut might save a bit of time , will try do a vid of it it’s great for mulching leafs and smaller hedge cuttings too
Alright pete, I’ve only ever used roller Hondas, my latest are the HRX 426’s as they high cut BUT they clog bad in this weather especially the when wet. I need a mower like yours to cut through all the long grass, what model Etesia is best ? Cheers Ant
Hi ant I’d say the the etesia pro 46 is a good all rounder and because it’s small fits in the van easy and it’s very light
They aren’t the quickest mower so I’ve had the speed kit added which is really worth adding if you buy one
There is a slightly bigger one but I didn’t feel I would need anything as big or heavy
This pro 46 is amazing

I brought it from a chap selling his gardening business it was only a few months old from brand new
I paid £700 cash worth way more I’d have happily paid the brand new price of £1500+ just because of how good they are
Rip that black drop flap off the 46 and it shouldn't block once flying that length grass👍👍
For 95% of that lawn it was easy it was the parts near the top that dad was strimming it didn’t like to much but it’s been brilliant on thicker lawns that my others mowers would have issues with
I literally didn’t realise they were a thing until I’ve been watching your channels this past year or so

Hi mate it was used but only 7 months old from new and hardly used and mint condition I paid £700 big saving off brand new price
@@THETATTOOGARDENER83 nothing wrong with used mate, looks a good one. I’ve been looking for a used Etesia Hydro 80 but ones I’ve seen look like they’ve done about a million miles and holding a high price.

He’s worked his whole life and paid his mortgage off so has minimal out goings lol
Unlike us who see to have bills coming out our ears it sometimes feels like moneys coming out as quick as it comes in 😂 I just keep pushing on and really appreciate the help from dad and Big Al

With two of us we can cut it in 35-40 mins so a set price of £60 get in get out 👌🏼

He’s got a new job not gardening I think he’s doing home fixings for the council down in Eastbourne

I do Mondays on my own big al Tuesday and Thursday and my dad Wednesday and then keep Fridays free for one off jobs or if I get rained off in the week and have to move anything
Dad and big Al are experienced gardeners and won’t let me down it’s working really well this way
Why don’t you just weed killer the gravel?
We’re more than happy too some people don’t like us too because of pets other customers don’t want to pay to have it put down however it should be charged for as the chemical cost us money to begin with
It all depends on what the client wants they can all be very different mate
Why not spray the drive. What I do
In some place I do however these guys have dogs and worry about the chemicals and dogs
What I’ll probably do is lease with them and if they are away on holiday arrange that time to get something stronger down it would save so much time and my knees 😂
