I’m making this pen for Gav of Gav ‘Sedae Woodwork’ as he has stopped making pens and wanted this as a special gift for an old friend of his Father’s.
It was an honour and privilege to be asked and make the pen for Gav.

I love Thursday mornings! It's the back story that makes these pens so special and so different from the everyday, mass-produced stuff. Even though you made a series of them there was a reason for each one. A Celtic cross pen is definitely on my to do list.

Very nice, Huw! You sure know your way around a Celtic Knot! Great choice of Bog Oak for the knot and contrast. Great finish, too!

I do like the finish but don't yet know how its longevity will be compared to a CA finish.

Huw, Huw, Huw, what can one say. In my opinion, you stay the Pen Master. I absolutely love it watching you making a Pen. Gav mate, hope you guys enjoy it. It was a touching story and I can relate loosing ones father at a fairly young age. Again Huw, Brilliant and beautiful video and as always, the pens looks amazing. Great job!

It was an honour to be asked to make the pen for his Dad's friend.
I don't know how it happens. I shot up 2600 views in 8 hours over night with over 44000 impressions in the same period.
Watch time is extremely low though.
Does your watch time drop if the video spikes?
